I can’t believe it’s been a week since I last posted. Sorry about that! I don’t know where this week has gone to. I have been busy doing lots of creating. I will show you those soon. I managed to squeeze in some time to do Keesh’s colour challenge for this week. The colours were:
This is the card I created. It was inspired by a card on page 157 of the 2009-10 Stampin’ Up! Idea Book and Catalogue. What a great resource that is! It is quite a simple card, but it still seemed to take me a while! Lots of fiddling around. I was pleased how it turned out in the end. It is not the clearest photo though, the lighting is not really good, or maybe it’s my camera, perhaps more likely my photography skills 😉

I stamped the tree from ‘Thoughts and Prayers’ in Old Olive ink on Old Olive cardstock. I stamped the swirly tree branches from “Trendy Trees’ in Not Quite Navy onto Very Vanilla Cardstock. I like how that turned out. This piece was mounted onto Not Quite Navy cardstock and I added a scalloped strip of Choc Chip card. Adhered it to the card with Choc Chip Grosgrain ribbon. Then I added a greeting from ‘Trendy Trees’ in Choc Chip, a Choc Chip designer flower brad and some paper piercing. A simple card!
Thanks for looking! School Holidays start here tomorrow but I will try to get back here a bit sooner than last time!!!!
Have a good day xx
