Sweet Sunday, or I’m calling it Santa Sunday maybe.
This week I have been creating with the new Santa’s Hat stamp set.
This is one of the cards.
This is a really simple 2 step stamp set. It has the Santa hat outline and the “fill-in” stamp that colours the hat. I like how it gets all the right shading in the hat. I couldn’t colour it like this.
It has some fun Christmas greeting stamps too. I diecut this one with the retired Mixed Labels Dies. The Poppy Parade card mat is embossed with the Softly Woven Embossing Folder which is a new one.

I have a fun card for you today. It might look hard but really it’s not!!
This is a Double Dutch Fold Card. Some might call it a Farm Door card. It goes by other names too.
I used the Glow of Harvest Paper for this one. This is the Product of the Month item you can choose. You can use whatever paper you like.

Each year I like to put together an In Color Comparison Chart to show how the new In Colors look against other colours.
I am a little later this year BUT I have it together now showing the 2026-2028 In Colors. And I wanted to share this with you so you might have a copy yourself.
If you haven’t met the new In Colors yet they are Barely Blush, Crisp Canteloupe, Golden Glow, Peaceful Pine and Hydrangea Hue.
Below I have the photo image but I have a link just below so you can download it yourself to keep.
I had the little puppies coloured for a few weeks. Then to put the card together I couldn’t get it to work where I was happy with it. I probably redid this card 4 times.
Here it is though. Because we can share the good, the bad and the ugly.
I diecut the banner from the Painted Illusions Paper but the background… Do I add a strip of card? The colours weren’t working. I diecut the strip? Still not great. Do I emboss the white card mat. One time the embossing just wouldn’t work with the paper. It seemed too busy for the pattern on the paper. Maybe I was overthinking it all.
So I settled on this. I’m still not sure about it but I think it is the better option. 😁
What are your thoughts? Should I change the colour? Maybe file it in the bin? HAHA! At the end of the day the puppies are cute. 😊

You have probably heard a lot of talk of the Stampin’ Up! Onstage event last weekend. You might have even gone yourself at one of the event centres. I went to the Onstage in Sydney, Australia. It was awesome connecting with all my Stampin’ Up! Friends again rather than see them on a screen or on Social Media. It fills your cup. 🙂
I put together a Video Sharing the Swaps I receive. You could see photos of the Swaps. (And I will share them in the next post later) but showing them in the Video I can look more closely at the details and look at all that extra texture. I share some Sneak Peeks and news too. And What is happening in my World. Changes are coming! (I will add that further below too).

Of course going to Onstage we receive a Swag of goodies including a Tote Bag, pens, notebook and other bits. Also some Prize Patrol and … Paper Pumpkin. More on that in another post too.
It’s taken a while and finally cracked the 200,000 CSV in Sales (equivalent to just over 300,000 AUD). I got to do a stage walk for that. Pretty exciting!

So, What’s happening in my World…
Changes are coming. I’m still not 100% sure how I will navigate it but it will work out I am sure. I mention briefly in the video but thought I would give more background.
I have been running Face to Face Classes for nearly all of the 18 years I have been a Demonstrator. It’s been wonderful meeting in person and sharing cardmaking.
We are moving. Soon, my studio, our large shed and our house is being demolished. (Quietly freaking out here now …). We are building a new house so will rent elsewhere during the build. With our rental house I will have a small craft room and when we return to our new house I will have a small craft room also. But the designated Studio will be gone. I still endeavour to hold classes though. You can still have fun around the Dining Table. While I’m renting it may be a little more difficult but I will try.
I’m planning to turn more frequently to Online. Maybe some more regular videos, maybe some Online Classes. What would you like to see more of?
It’s all fun and exciting, scary and overwhelming. But we will work some way to create together.
So I will leave you to watch the video. I will share more of the swaps and news in later posts.

I have been playing with something new – and for me different. The Rustic Centerpiece set. (Being in Australia I have to correct myself when spelling that as this is the US spelling!).
This is the first card I made with it.
I coloured the succulents with Watercolor Pencils. The Paper strip is from the Florals in Bloom Paper. It’s hard to see but I embossed the Garden Green card with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder.
It’s very cloudy and rainy today so not the best lighting for a photo. I will try a better one another day but just wanted to show you this.
The Rustic Centerpiece set is a cute stamp set featuring woodsy florals and wood slice images. Each one is adorned with a different display. These succulents, a Sunflower and leafy arrangement and a Christmas setting of the deer and tree.

The new In Colors are out now. You might have seen them. If not Welcome to the 2025-2027 In Colors.
The In Colors are quite a mix of tones this year I will say. You have the bright Darling Duckling and Timid Tiger. Also the returning Strawberry Slush. Then the more neutral colours of Cloud Cover and Secret Sea.
What is your favourite?
I have used Secret Sea a bit already. It’s not so blue as Night of Navy and not dark and heavy as Black. It seems to work well with many colours.
Each year I like to do a Comparison with other Stampin’ Up! Colours.
They are all comparing to current colours except for including Mint Macaron.
Would you like to have a PDF version of this yourself? I am gifting you all this so you can refer back to it often.
The Cloud Cover Ink Pad has had some issues with the colour being stable. Since Stampin’ Up! pride themselves in quality this has been unacceptable despite all the workings around. As a result Stampin’ Up! have decided to remove the Cloud Cover Ink Pad. The colour will still be available in Cardstock, Markers and Ink Refill. If you wish to still have an Ink Pad perhaps get a Mini Ink Spot and use the refill to create your own. I have heard some demonstrators ink up the Secret Sea and stamp it off before stamping to create a very close match.
