Softly Woven Embossing Folder – A Stamping Journey

Back with the Poetic Petals. This was one of the first cards I made with these dies.

I have to say this was a redo of the first one though.

I wasn’t happy with how it had turned out so I ripped off the pieces and put the card together again. This time put the flowers and squares on a white card mat rather than the patterned paper mat I had it on. The flowers and squares showed up much better. I coloured the flowers with the Pencils. The white card was embossed with the Softly Woven Embossing Folder.

Do you redo cards sometimes?

SWEET SUNDAY WITH SANTA’S HAT ~

September 13, 2026September 13, 2026 Jenny Hayward

Sweet Sunday, or I’m calling it Santa Sunday maybe.

This week I have been creating with the new Santa’s Hat stamp set.

This is one of the cards.

This is a really simple 2 step stamp set. It has the Santa hat outline and the “fill-in” stamp that colours the hat. I like how it gets all the right shading in the hat. I couldn’t colour it like this.

It has some fun Christmas greeting stamps too. I diecut this one with the retired Mixed Labels Dies. The Poppy Parade card mat is embossed with the Softly Woven Embossing Folder which is a new one.

This is the Santa’s Hat stamp set. You can see it more -> HERE.

This is available in the September – December 2026 Catalogue. If you need to order it and you are in Australia you can order at the above link.
