Mixed Labels Dies – A Stamping Journey

Sweet Sunday, or I’m calling it Santa Sunday maybe.

This week I have been creating with the new Santa’s Hat stamp set.

This is one of the cards.

This is a really simple 2 step stamp set. It has the Santa hat outline and the “fill-in” stamp that colours the hat. I like how it gets all the right shading in the hat. I couldn’t colour it like this.

It has some fun Christmas greeting stamps too. I diecut this one with the retired Mixed Labels Dies. The Poppy Parade card mat is embossed with the Softly Woven Embossing Folder which is a new one.

FRAMED PRETTY FLORALS CARD – SAME BUT DIFFERENT!

I have been playing a lot with the Pretty Florals Bundle. I have shared some different ones already. These 2 cards are very similar. There are just some variations.

They have the same paper, the Florals in Bloom Paper, and I have created the black frames to really highlight the flowers. You might be able to tell the differences though.

The one with the Fresh Freesia flowers is using the larger diecut flower and the outline edge. I sponged over a little Fresh Freesia ink to add some extra definition. This one is on a Fresh Freesia Card Base. The sentiment is from the Simply Said Stamp Set and diecut with the Mixed Labels Dies. We made this one in our class last week using the Pretty Florals Bundle.

The other one is with the small pink flowers. The flowers are in Pretty In Pink and the little edges, (Not sure what you would call them) are in the Strawberry Slush. This one has a Pretty In Pink Card Base. The sentiment on this one is from the Stippled Roses Stamp Set I think.

So which one do you prefer?

This is a great bundle. I have had a lot of fun creating with it.

STAMPIN’ UP! WILDFLOWER BIRTHDAY – ME TO YOU

In my Facebook Group this week I have set a little “Creative Spark” post to perhaps inspire the members creating.

This week it was to use 2 different pieces of patterned paper on their cards. So of course I created too. This was my card.

I used the Wildflower Birthday Specialty Paper. It has gorgeous paper prints as well as Diecut images and pieces ready to use. I love that this can make creating a lot quicker.

I used a sketch to create the card. The square Birthday Cake image was cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies to add some extra detail and layered on a Old Olive Card Mat.

The sentiment is from the Bright Borders Stamp Set and cut with one of the dies from the Mixed Labels Dies. A little flower piece was added that was in the diecut paper pack.
