STAMPIN’ UP! SUNSET COAST – STAMPED OR DIECUT??

I have shared some cards with the Scenic Coast Suite particularly the Sunset Coast Bundle. I have 2 cards to show you today. A Stamped card and a Diecut one. Both of these cards we made at our Class today.

For this one I diecut the circle and then stamped the scene within it. Of course you could stamp and diecut after but it is good to know the area you have to work with. The little “netting” was diecut and cut in half to adhere to both sides of the circle.

The front has “Wherever this note finds you…” and inside on white card it was stamped with “I hope it finds you happy” with some of the little boats as well.

This card below the boat scene was diecut in white and added to some of the Scenic Coast Paper. It looks kind of stormy skies with it clearing ahead don’t you think??

There are lots of ways to create with this bundle. I hope you have caught some of the other projects I have shared.

This is the Sunset Coast Stamps and Dies.

And this is the Scenic Coast Paper. It has such beautiful watercoloured scenes. It comes in 6″x6″.

If you are a Wollongong local why not come along to my classes? Email me to find out more or add a comment and I will get back to you.

5 MINUTES, 5 DAYS, 5 WAYS WITH THE OPULENT OASIS BUNDLE – DAY 5

Last day of this Mini Series. 5 Minutes, 5 Days, 5 Ways with the Opulent Oasis Bundle.

See some other ways to stamp with the stamps and dies in this set.

This is the card I created.

You can make your own background paper. You could use different colours for the stamps and dies or as I have using one colour. I chose Smoky Slate as a subtle background.

The flower was stamped in Strawberry Slush and the leaves in Granny Apple Green. The smaller diecut leaves were in Old Olive.

Thanks for following along with this mini Series. Let me know what you think? Would you like to see more like this?

If you missed them head back to the past posts or Head to my Youtube channel and you can find them there.

If you are in Australia and need supplies I would love to help you get them. Head to my store -> HERE. Or Contact me directly.

5 MINUTES, 5 DAYS, 5 WAYS WITH THE OPULENT OASIS BUNDLE – DAY 4

Day 4 of our series – 5 Minutes, 5 Days, 5 Ways with the Opulent Oasis Bundle.

Have you seen the past videos in this series yet? You can head back to the recent posts if you missed them or would like a refresh.

In Day 4 of these videos let’s see what else you can create with this bundle using just the stamps and dies.

These are the cards I shared in the video.

Hydrangea Hue and Lemon Lime Twist have been a favourite combination recently.

Here is another simple card with these colours and using the Berry Botanicals Vellum Specialty Paper.

The Opulent Oasis Bundle is available in the May-August Catalogue. The Berry Botanicals Vellum Specialty is available as May Product of the Month.

Last Day tomorrow. Be sure to check back in. Let me know what you think of this series too. Would you like to see other Bitesize video series on a bundle or technique?

5 MINUTES, 5 DAYS, 5 WAYS WITH THE OPULENT OASIS BUNDLE – DAY 1

I’m bringing you a new series this week. 5 Minutes, 5 Days, 5 Ways with the Opulent Oasis Bundle. Small bitesize videos to help inspire you when creating with this bundle. But if you don’t have this bundle you might just be able to create these with other stamps/dies you have.

In this video I show you how to use the new Impressions Mat. The mat helps give a little more “puffiness” to the Impressions Dies.

Here is the video for you to follow along.

These are the cards I showed how to make.

Which colour do you like – the Crisp Canteloupe or the Strawberry Slush?

Be sure to check back with the other videos this week as I share more with this Bundle.

FRAMED BERRY BOTANICAL VELLUM PAPER

Here is another project with the Berry Botanical Vellum Specialty Paper. Although you could create with look with any pretty paper.

Stampin' Up! Berry Botanical Vellum Specialty _ Framed

This is a great way to highlight the patterns of your paper rather than covering much of it up. Create a frame by diecutting some layering (or Nested) shape Dies. On this one I used the Nested Essentials Dies. You could use any shape though. Try square or circles or even rectangles. See what you have.

Hope you get to try this way out. It is a very quick, simple card but can be effective.

Happy Crafting,

Jenny

The Berry Botanical Vellum Specialty Paper is available as this month Product of the Month. Available to you for an additional $9 when your order reaches over $125 (Australian market. Check your own market).

Are you in Australia and “need” some Stampin’ Up! Supplies for your collection? I would love to help you get them. You can head through my Online Store -> HERE OR Contact me directly.

STAMPIN’ UP! EYELET BLOOMS DIE IN HYDRANGEA HUE ~

My new favourite colour – Hydrangea Hue. What do you think of the colour?

I created a simple card with the Eyelet Blooms Die.

This card was inspired by Ingrid from the Product of the Month Demonstrator Council. I stepped it up a little with some ribbon and diecut a small piece for the flower and fussy cut it out. To highlight the flower I added some ink to the edges.

The edge of the diecut is easy to snip off with scissors as the flowers are partly diecut anyway. I did cut the card mat a bit bigger than the card mat size so I can trim it down to size to get the edging in the right place with enough room to add the sentiment.

A tip with using this die.

I found I needed to run the die and card through the machine twice then turned the die and card over and ran it through twice again. Then I could peel if off easily from the die. You can brush over it with the brush to help if you find you need to help take it off.

The Eyelet Blooms Die is April Product of the Month. It is a gorgeous, detailed die to add either to the front of your cards or add a small section like the card I had shared in a previous post.

You can receive the Product of the Month item when your order reaches the qualifying amount and with an additional small cost. In Australia it is $125 order and pay an additional $9. You select that when you place your order. Check your own market for the price there.

If you are in Australia I can help you out. You can contact me directly or head to my store -> HERE. Don’t forget to select your Product of the Month when your order reaches the qualifying amount.

ONE SHEET WONDER STYLE WITH THE STAMPIN’ UP! GEARS AND TEXTURES ~

I can finally share these cards with you – and the video. It’s been a busy time over the last few weeks so it has been hard to get time to share them.

These are One Sheet Wonder Style cards. They are so easy to create. Make 4 cards all in one go. Some simple random stamping and cut. Add then add to Card Bases and Card Mats and add diecut pieces and you are done. Oh and add a sentiment too.

These were the cards I created as Swaps for Onstage last month so they were quick to make a lot. I have put together a video to show you how it is done. A written Tutorial will be sent out to my newsletter subscribers tomorrow.

You could use any stamps and dies for this idea – Flowers, Butterflies, Seashells. Use what you have.

Here is the video to follow along.

Follow along. I hope you get to make them.

EYELET BLOOMS DIE FOR APRIL PRODUCT OF THE MONTH ~

It’s a new month which means a new Product of the Month. Have you seen it?

For April it is the Eyelet Blooms Die. It is so pretty. It is one full die piece with delicate details over it. You can create focal detail to the front of your projects. You can gently lift some of the flower petals up. You could also snip those little flowers off to add to the card.

The Eyelet Blooms Die measures 11.1 x 15.2 cm Or 4 3/8″ x 6″.

Let’s see some projects made with this die by Stampin’ Up! Artists.

This one below add leaves from another die set to add extra elements. It is really sweet.

Even just use part of the diecut for a different addition.

So the question is – How does the Product of the Month work?

You can receive the Product of the Month item when your order reaches over the qualified level. In Australia it is $125. Pay an additional $9 and select that item.

$9 is a pretty good value for a detailed die like this.

If you need supplies yourself and would love this (Or choose any other of the Product of the Month items available) then you can head to my store -> HERE. Or contact me and I can help you out.

Jenny
