DOUBLE DUTCH FUN FOLD CARD + VIDEO

I have a fun card for you today. It might look hard but really it’s not!!

This is a Double Dutch Fold Card. Some might call it a Farm Door card. It goes by other names too.

I used the Glow of Harvest Paper for this one. This is the Product of the Month item you can choose. You can use whatever paper you like.

To help you create one I have put together a video for you to follow along. I will send out a Written Tutorial to those on my newsletter list next week. Are you on my List? I send out a new project each week (almost). Check the side bar on my blog to see how to sign up for it.

This is the card.

EYELET BLOOMS DIE FOR APRIL PRODUCT OF THE MONTH ~

It’s a new month which means a new Product of the Month. Have you seen it?

For April it is the Eyelet Blooms Die. It is so pretty. It is one full die piece with delicate details over it. You can create focal detail to the front of your projects. You can gently lift some of the flower petals up. You could also snip those little flowers off to add to the card.

The Eyelet Blooms Die measures 11.1 x 15.2 cm Or 4 3/8″ x 6″.

Let’s see some projects made with this die by Stampin’ Up! Artists.

This one below add leaves from another die set to add extra elements. It is really sweet.

Even just use part of the diecut for a different addition.

So the question is – How does the Product of the Month work?

You can receive the Product of the Month item when your order reaches over the qualified level. In Australia it is $125. Pay an additional $9 and select that item.

$9 is a pretty good value for a detailed die like this.

If you need supplies yourself and would love this (Or choose any other of the Product of the Month items available) then you can head to my store -> HERE. Or contact me and I can help you out.

PAINTED ILLUSIONS PAPER WITH THE TRUSTY TOOLS SET

I have been sharing a lot of projects with the Painted Illusions Paper on Facebook. You might have caught them there but I will try and share them here for you to catch.

Did you notice the wavy patterns in the Painted Illusions Paper? I thought it would be cool to cut along the wavy outline to add to the card front. There are lots of different wavy formations on this paper so you could create any effect.

And I dragged out the fun Trusty Tools set.

I think this Trusty Tools set works well with the paper. And it’s great to pull out some of the older sets to create with. Sometimes they get a little neglected.

What do you think of the curvy lines in the paper? How could you use them?

The Painted Illusions Paper is the February Product of the Month.

I do love the colours and the patterns in this paper.

You can see more with this paper -> HERE.

To receive this paper place a qualifying order of $125 AUD and for an additional $9 you can select this. (Check your market for the amount)

Or you could choose any other of the Product of the Month items if you prefer. Only one per person per qualifying amount and While Supplies Last.

To order in Australia you can head to the link just above to order your products Or contact me directly.

SWEET SUNDAY WITH A PATCHWORK CARD!

Sweet Sunday with this fun Patchwork card idea. This one is created by Stampin’ Up! Artists with the True Blue Florals Designer Series Paper. You could try with any pretty paper though.

Here’s How:

You would need to cut numerous white squares. Diecutting them with one of the small squares from the Stylish Shapes Dies give you that “stitched edge” look. For a card like this you would need 16 squares. Then diecut some squares with your patterned paper. Cut the squares diagonally. Then you can position the white squares over your card mat and place the cut paper squares in position to create the patchwork look. This card would work best with a Square style card.

Try this idea out for a card. And I would love to see it too if you like.

This paper is the Product of the Month that has been out this month. There is a new exclusive product each month.

You can purchase this True Blue Florals Paper for $9 when your order reaches $125. (AUD)

You can find more about the Product of the Month -> HERE.

If you need any supplies you can order at my store at that link above too.

Happy Crafting,

Jenny
