HIDDEN GEMS TUESDAY WITH THE GILDED WINGS ACCENTS ~

Time for some Hidden Gems. Sometimes these products get a little lost on the store front but it’s good to let them shine.

Speaking of shine – What about these Gilded Wings Accents? They are certainly shiny and Gold.

These Gilded Wings Accents are a 12″x12″ sheet full of Gold Foil Butterflies. They vary in size and style. So many to add to your projects! You can easily add them with any adhesive.

If you want the Gold shine to your projects but don’t have the Hot Foil Machine these are a great alternative.

Here are some projects created by Stampin’ Up! Artists to show you how they look. Doesn’t it add such elegance to your projects.

The added bonus with these Accents is that they are now on the Last Chance List. Which also means they are reduced from $17.50 to $15.75 (AUD – so check your market).

When these sell out they are gone for good so don’t let them flutter away.

If you are in Australia you can catch them -> HERE. Don’t miss the other Last Chance items either.

GLOW OF HARVEST SPECIALTY PAPER FOR AUGUST PRODUCT OF THE MONTH ~

The Glow of Harvest Specialty Designer Series Paper is this month’s Product of the Month. I have been creating with it for a few weeks now as part of the Demonstrator Council.

The paper has lovely fall/Autumn patterns. We don’t create that much for those type of occasions in Australia. It works well for other occasions though as I discovered when I started playing with it.

This is the paper.

I thought this print worked well with the cow from the Wild Bunch set. And maybe I had one already coloured – and it worked!!

You could replace the idea with something else you have.

The Glow of Harvest paper has a really nice sheen to it. Just a subtle sparkle.

You can select this paper when you place your qualifying order. In Australia if your order is over $125, Select this paper and you only pay an additional $9.

If you need to order you can head to my store -> HERE Or contact me directly and I can help you out.

Happy Crafting,

Jenny

Oh! and one more thing. The Last Chance List has been updated too.

You can head -> HERE to check the products that will be leaving very soon.

STAMPING PATTERNED PAPER WITH THE STAMPIN’ UP! VIOLET DREAMS

I have been playing with the Violet Dreams Suite this last week. I will share more soon but this is the card I started out with.

I wasn’t sure where to go first. This card was CASED from one from Stampin’ Up!. I just added a little more stamping and more ribbon.

I liked the idea of stamping on the paper. It’s just a subtle amount in the corner rather than all over. The flowers are pre-diecut from the paper and I coloured them with Stampin’ Blends as they had in the original.

The Fresh Freesia ribbon is so satin-ny and adds a little elegance to the card.

I like this Sending Love sentiment. I like sending out cards like that to share a little love.

This is Violet Dreams Suite including the paper, ribbon and the Framed Violets Bundle.

Have a look at the Violet Dreams Paper. I think that is my favourite part of the suite. I love the soft images and pretty purple colours.

This is a closer look at the diecut sheets from the paper.

The Violet Dreams Suite is available now Online -> HERE. Or you can contact me directly. I would love to help you get this gorgeous suite. (If you are in Australia).

Happy Stamping,

Jenny

STAMPIN’ UP! WILD BUNCH SENDING LOVE COW ~

We can’t miss the cow with the Wild Bunch Stamp Set.

I coloured this cow with the Stampin’ Blends and layered it on some of the Lovely Blossoms Paper. I thought that paper worked well for this cow. What do you think?

It’s nice to give a card to “send some love”. Hope you get to send out a card for that soon to someone who needs a little “love”.

Have a great day,

Jenny

Unfortunately the Wild Bunch Stamp Set is now sold out. I hope you had a chance to get one but you can substitute the idea with something you have.

SCENIC COAST PART FRONT CARD ~

Back with another Scenic Coast card. Sometimes when I want to do a card a little differently but I don’t have a lot of time to do the whole complex Fancy Fold Card I do this. It’s an easy effect. I call it a Part Front Card.

I cut off half of the front of the card. Added some pretty papers. They could be the same or co-ordinating papers. Then add a front panel. This panel could be any size depending on what you want to add.

This particular card I cut a square of white card to diecut the lighthouse. Then layered some paper behind it. It kind of looks like a sunset perhaps. Then added it to a card mat panel.

Try it out when you want to cheat and do something differently. Especially if Fun Folds cards are not your favourite to do as they can be complex.

Have fun creating and exploring new things.

STAMPIN’ UP! SUNSET COAST – STAMPED OR DIECUT??

I have shared some cards with the Scenic Coast Suite particularly the Sunset Coast Bundle. I have 2 cards to show you today. A Stamped card and a Diecut one. Both of these cards we made at our Class today.

For this one I diecut the circle and then stamped the scene within it. Of course you could stamp and diecut after but it is good to know the area you have to work with. The little “netting” was diecut and cut in half to adhere to both sides of the circle.

The front has “Wherever this note finds you…” and inside on white card it was stamped with “I hope it finds you happy” with some of the little boats as well.

This card below the boat scene was diecut in white and added to some of the Scenic Coast Paper. It looks kind of stormy skies with it clearing ahead don’t you think??

There are lots of ways to create with this bundle. I hope you have caught some of the other projects I have shared.

This is the Sunset Coast Stamps and Dies.

And this is the Scenic Coast Paper. It has such beautiful watercoloured scenes. It comes in 6″x6″.

If you are a Wollongong local why not come along to my classes? Email me to find out more or add a comment and I will get back to you.

Happy Crafting,

Jenny

SWEET SUNDAY WITH THE WILD BUNCH KOALA ~

It’s Sweet Sunday time. I have been colouring the little critters from the Wild Bunch Stamp Set. It is a cute one. Today I put together one of those little ones. Of course being an Aussie it had to be the Koala.

I coloured the Koala with the Watercolor Pencils and fussy cut it out.

I used the Nature Walk Paper. It looks a bit “bushy” or among “trees”. The diecut leaf is from the Nature’s Symphony Dies. I don’t know if they leaf would work for a Eucalyptus leaf (their favourite) but it would substitute on this.

The Wild Bunch is this month’s Product of the Month. Have you noticed it? It’s a cute one. I don’t often do cute but well this has a Koala and lots of fun, happy critters it would work for grown ups too.

The Product of the Month is available for an additional small amount when your order reaches the qualifying amount. It differs in each market. In Australia purchase the Product of the Month for an additional $9 when your order reaches $125.

Have a wonderful week and I hope it is a crafty one for you.

HOLE IN THE ROCK WITH THE SCENIC COAST BUNDLE ~

I have been creating a lot with the Scenic Coast Bundle this week. I will share them all with you in the coming week.

Today’s card though is using the stamps to create a scene. I wasn’t sure what direction to take this when I started it but then it happened. And I created a Hole in the Rock scene.

There is a Hole in the Rock in New Zealand just like this that you can cruise through. I did that some years ago one time when I was there.

For the water I stamped it once in the centre and then either side of that to create a wider water scene. The “Hole in the Rock” was stamped in Pecan Pie for the solid image and Early Espresso for the shadow areas. It creates more depth when doing that.

It is hard to but I also stamped the smaller “water” stamp over the Night of Navy card in 3 areas to create the background. I considered embossing with an embossing folder but it worked ok for a subtle background.

The Hello is from the Simply Said Stamp Set.

This is the Sunset Coast Stamps and Dies.

Check back over the next week as I share more with these stamps and dies and the paper.

Happy Crafting,

Jenny
