STAMPIN’ UP! ONSTAGE NEWS

It’s been a big week. For my Demonstrator friends who went to Onstage you know that feeling… But how great to be together and sharing again. I have come away feeling inspired. My heart is full and my head is overflowing with ideas.

I’m just sharing a few picks from our Onstage Melbourne event. There were so many great moments really but there is not enough time for it all. You might have caught some of the news on my Facebook page.

Anyway, let’s get to it.

From the Convention Centre, Melbourne.

On the board for Anniversary Milestone – 15 Years. It was fun to pick out the names. I was recognised for Sales, Recruiting and Leadership too. I will say I was happy about that. It was a hard year.

The new Catalogue. (If you want a catalogue sent out to you do let me know- Australia only).

Do you remember Lovely As a Tree. I still have that actually. There are not many stamp sets I keep but I have kept this one. It was my first set. This one is it’s cousin. Loveliest Tree. So beautiful. Yes it has gone on my preorder. Watch out. 🙂

I wasn’t sure about this suite with the Shopping Trolley and gifts BUT I absolutely love these creations. Just incredible and gorgeous. Maybe it does need to go on my list.

Sara and Dave Presentation. What a laugh. Poor Sara lost it a few times. And Dave had his “cool dude” Tatoo Sleeves on. It was such a fun presentation to end our time.

We had an Onstage + Room with special treats. It was lovely. And it was nice to chat with Sara.

Onstage + Lounge. A little indulgence for Leaders.

With Chocolate Dipped Ice Cream that you could choose your toppings. (I will say super sweet with all that chocolate. But I guess I did get Double Dipped Chocolate).

Another time it was Chocolate and Strawberries.

After the Recognition night it was time to party with the Silent Disco. Not so silent though with the singing BUT that’s ok. It was so fun!

There was a Product Playground to see some new products. I loved the Colour Palette Walls. You had cardstock pieces and could add a Colour Combination to the wall with Glue Dots. I did take photos of all the panels and will have to go through them all to see the combinations.

It was nice to share it all with 4 of my team, JEN’s INKer’s. There were lots of laughs and fun along the way.

Thanks for indulging me in sharing these.

I will share more of swaps shortly. So many beautiful creations and I will share mine too so be sure to stop on by again soon.

ART GALLERY CARD FOR STAMP AND SHARE!

We had our Onstage Stampin’ Up! Event over the weekend. We all met “virtually” for training, inspiration and creating. It’s always a fun time. And we got to see the upcoming January catalogue. Ooh!!

For the Stamp and Share part of the event we could purchase the stamps and dies beforehand to create the projects. I didn’t end up doing that so used another set I had. I thought I would share the card I made. (I only made one at the moment). 🙂

I used the Art Gallery Stamp set. It’s still one of my favourite sets and so versatile.

I took the colours from the Hand-Penned DSP that I used … but I’m still not sure of the colour combination. Garden Green and Highland Heather/Gorgeous Grape. What do you think??

I thought I would still share it with you anyway.

Happy Stamping,

Jenny

ONSTAGE @ HOME TEAM DAY!

Last weekend was the Stampin’ Up! Onstage event @ Home. It was sad not to meet together but a few from my team got together which was a lot of fun.

It was lovely of Sarah to open her home up to us and we could watch the big TV screen together with all the sessions and chat about them. There is always lots of ‘oohs’ and ‘aahs’. 🙂

We had a card display and I made up some gifts for my team.

Here are the little gifts. I included a Stampin’ Up! file folder with some Stampin’ Up! hand-outs, a clipboard (great for all those sessions notes), and I made up a little pack with a highlighter, sticky notes and a Stampin’ Up! magnet. These were all gifted in past Stampin’ Up! convention bags.

These were little table gifts for the tables. I made them up using some retired pillow boxes and decorated them with the new Dandy Garden suite. These are some gorgeous new products coming in the 2021 Occasions Catalogue starting in January. I thought this sentiment was good as we start out on a new Stampin’ Up! year.

Of course one needs to be hydrated at these events so I made up some bottle tags using the cute Zany Zebras.

Just some of the name tags. Sarah created these which were great!

And then you must have Prize Patrol right. We had drawings over the 2 days for some fun prizes. And that was in addition to the Stampin’ Up! giveaways over the weekend.

Some card displays with the Curvy Celebrations and the Curvy Christmas stamp set, the Dove of Hope and a few other stamp sets.

The Dandy Garden Suite. I will share closer views of the cards over the next couple of weeks and months. I think you will love this suite.

The Poinsettia Petals card samples created by Sarah.

Getting some creating going on with the Dandy Garden project. I will share those with you very soon.

Some of my JEN’s INK Team. (A socially distanced photo. 🙂 )

Recognition was announced. I was so pleased to achieve Sales and Team Building Recognition for this past year. Thank you to you all for your support and encouragement and Thank You to my wonderful team.

Thank you to you all for your support and encouragement whether you order from me or cheer for me from near and far. I appreciate you. Thanks for visiting my blog. And of course Thank You to my wonderful team.

If you would love to be a part of these fun get togethers then I would love to welcome you to my JEN’s INK team. I go on about the discount a lot but really being with Stampin’ Up! means a lot more. It’s connecting with so many “crazy” people like you who get excited about stamps and ink. You can find out more on my page HERE of 9 Reasons why you need to join the Stampin’ Up! Family.

Keep creating,

Jenny

DRESSED TO IMPRESS SCRAP PAGE!

I don’t do a lot of memory keeping or scrapbooking but I created this page for Onstage back in November when I presented the Dressed To Impress Bundle.  I realised I hadn’t shared it with you.

This page is of my sweet girl who is now a big girl.  She LOVED dressing up.  It was her most favourite thing to do.  Everyday she would pull out the dress ups.  I made a mini album some time ago just with photos of her in her dress ups.  She had quite the style.

This is a 12″x12″ page.  I used 3 different prints from the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper pack and layered them together. I added a few dies with the All Dressed Up Dies and a little stamping.  I think this suite is ideal for these type of photos don’t you think??? 🙂 Perhaps I need to make a few more pages with it.

The Dressed To Impress Bundle is carrying over in to the new catalogue but it won’t be as a bundle.  Buying it now will save you 10%.

The Best Dressed Designer Series Paper won’t be carrying over- grab that now before it goes.

See them in my store now -> HERE.

You can order there or Contact me to add your order.

Don’t forget to add the Host Code in the checkout on the store.  Host Code – WF9YsVMB

Just days left to get this month’s Tutorial too.

I actually used a different print of the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper in my project.  Here is another sneak of that too.

Thanks for visiting me. Have an awesome week,

Jenny

BEST DRESSED THANKS!

I have had this card to show you for some time now.  It’s about time I share it with you.

As I have mentioned previously I presented at Onstage in November with the Best Dressed Suite.  I made this card for Clare from the Stampin’ Up! office in Sydney to Thank her for firstly asking me to present, but also to believe in me and cheering me on during the weeks of preparations and rehearsals at Onstage.  It was an amazing opportunity and I was very Thankful to have had that experience.

Just a few details on the card.  The sentiment label is cut with the Stitched Labels Dies and the Stitched Shapes Dies.  The sentiment is from the Love What You Do stamp set.  The shoes from the Dressed To Impress Stamp set were coloured with the Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends. The perfume bottle and the flower are cut from the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper.

This is a sweet set and I have just dragged it out to play with it again over the last couple of weeks so it was fun to be using it again.

Thanks for visiting me today.  Have a great week.  Keep on creating in these crazy times.

A SIMPLE POPPY CARD!

This card was one of the Make and Takes we had for Onstage in November.  I never made any of my cards that day – but then I usually don’t.  It’s the time to chat to people and I have to say it can get a little stressful when you have to make the cards in a short amount of time.  So I usually bring them home to make.

I only managed to complete the card this week.  I changed it up a little to what it was meant to be.  That’s ok. 🙂  The card is aimed for a beginner stamper.  One who is just starting out and doesn’t have a lot of products.  It’s basic stamping with little or no colouring or any diecutting.

I added a little more background stamping with the poppies and leaves using the Painted Poppies stamp set.  These were in poppy Parade.

On a piece of white card I stamped a poppy just off the top edge of the card and then added the Happy Birthday from the Peaceful Moments stamp set.  I lightly sponged some Poppy Parade ink around the edge of the card.  I haven’t done that for a very long time.  I used to add it all the time but now I tend to leave the card clean – if I can describe it like that.

The strips of the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper were adhered straight down on to the Poppy Parade card base and the white stamped piece was raised up with Dimensionals.  Before doing that I added a little piece of the Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon.  Of course finish with bling.

Hope you like my version of the card.  There have been a few versions of this card from those who went to Onstage.

Happy Stamping,

Jenny

BEST DRESSED – ALWAYS IN STYLE!

Another Best Dressed card for you since I am on that roll at the moment.  I will mix it up a bit never fear. 🙂

This is a sample I made for the display board at Onstage with the Best Dressed Suite.

You don’t need much with the gorgeous Best Dressed Designer Series Paper do you?? Such pretty little flowers and pretty colours.

I added a little stamping on the Petal Pink Stitched circle from the Stitched Shapes dies. To add colour to the perfume stamp one of the “wash” stamps.  The sentiment was cut with one of the stitched labels in the All Dressed Up dies and then you can tuck one of the Best Dressed Tassels in behind it.  I used a Glue Dot to stick it down.  The Pretty Peacock strip down the side was embossed with the Lace 3D Embossing Folder to add some texture.

I think Kindness is Always In Style right.  The world needs a little more kindness.

Have a great day to you and share a little kindness today,

Jenny

WEDNESDAY’S WOW! #92 – BEST DRESSED FOR DIFFERENT CRAFTERS!

Back with Wednesday’s WOW! For the year.  You might hear people talking about different types of crafters but what does all that mean – and what type of crafter are you?  Today’s Wednesday’s WOW! #92 – Looking at the different types of crafter, or you might here them being referred to as customer types.

As part of my presentation at Onstage in November I needed to talk about the different crafters and make samples to suit.  So this is a good time to share some of the cards I made using the Best Dressed Suite for these different crafters.

The different Crafter Types are Beginner, Casual and Avid. You can see the 3 cards below.

A BEGINNER CRAFTER:

– New to stamping

– Needs guidance with where to start

– Needs a good experience and sense of accomplishment

– Wants simple designs and easy to use products.

– Wants affordable products.

So the top card is suitable for a Beginner crafter.  The Note Cards and Envelopes are affordable and easy to use.  Just add some simple stamping on the card and the envelope is great to stamp on as well.

A CASUAL CRAFTER:

– Likes to be helped when crafting

– Crafts occasionally

– More likely to copy projects

– Likes simple designs

– Needs crafting to fit the time they have

– Has less funds available for supplies

– Likes multiple uses for products

The card above is still simple in design but uses a little more products.  The paper adds an extra touch to the card but is still affordable.  Limited tools are needed to make the card. By layering the lipstick this will add some dimension to the card.  The lipstick is easy to fussy cut if the crafter doesn’t have a die-cutting machine.

AN AVID CRAFTER:

– Crafts daily to weekly

– Frequently creates projects from scratch

– Does like a casual experience occasionally

– Makes crafting part of their lifestyle

– Frequently buys and uses the products

– Buys more frequently than beginner and casual crafters

– “collects” products

– Likes specialised products

The above card is suitable for an Avid crafter.  It has several layers adding dimension to the card. It uses a number of different products as in the dies and the papers and even a little Wink of Stella sparkle on the lipstick.  An Avid crafter loves it all and wants it all.  Do you know an avid crafter?? 😉

****

So what type of crafter are you??  Are you a “collector”of crafting products? do you stamp frequently??   I think I waver between a Casual and Avid stamper.  I like projects to be quick and I have a simple style but I do create often and like to have some “tools”.

Hope you found this helpful or slightly interesting at least.  Maybe it inspires you in some way. 🙂

How ever often you create or what style you create I hope you enjoy it and that you be sure you take time for you to create.  It’s important for the soul.

Have a great day,

Jenny

BEST DRESSED – HELLO FABULOUS!

Last November I presented with the Best Dressed Suite at the Onstage event in Sydney.  I have lots of projects with this bundle and I can’t wait to share them with you now.  So over the next few days and week you will see some cute samples.

Today’s card was not one from my presentation but was a sample I created for the display.

Hello Fabulous! Isn’t that a great sentiment?? 🙂

I just used some of the gorgeous Best Dressed Designer Series Paper.  There are some great label dies in the All Dressed Up dies.  I layered them together.  You know what I love about these dies?? They are stitched!! YAY!

If you look closely the Pretty Peacock strips under the paper is using the Stitched strip die.  It just shows a little edge of stitching peering out.  It’s adds another dimension to your card.  Finish the card off with some loops of the Mint Macaron Sheer Linen Ribbon under the sentiment labels.

The Best Dressed Suite is available now in store.  You can grab the Dressed To Impress Bundle or grab the whole suite. 🙂  See them -> HERE.

Stop back here for more projects with this suite.  It’s such a fun one.

WEDNESDAY’S WOW! #91 – CUTE APRON GIFT BOX!

Today’s Wednesday’s WOW!#91 I have a special project for you.  It’s an apron gift box.

I shared this project at my Onstage presentation back in November.  I was honoured to present the Best Dressed Bundle in Sydney.  I will be sharing other projects with this bundle in the coming weeks but thought you might like to see this project.

It might be fun to make up a little gift box for someone.  If you are a Demonstrator it might be great as you start planning your Catalogue Launches in January.  I have made it in to a little Stampin’ Up! apron which is quite a novelty but you could use other card or paper and make a really pretty box.  I am sharing the template and the details below.

So many people loved this cute little bag at Onstage and also when I have shared it on some Facebook groups I am on.  Now here it is for you.

This is made with the All Dressed Up Dies.

Cut one bag front from black card.  Trim the side off the diecut bag and also the bottom tab so you are left with an apron shape.  Also cut 2 of the stitched strips from black card to use as the straps.

Here is the back of the bag.  I created a little box so you can fill it with small treats  It’s a very simple box.  I will share the template below.  The straps are attached at the top of the apron, crossed over and attached inside of the box at the back.

BOX TEMPLATE

Below is the template to create the box.  Cut your card 10.5cm x 12cm (4 1/8″x 4 3/4″).

Score on the short side at 4cm, 6.5cm (1 1/2″, 2 5/8″). Score on the long side at 2.5cm, 9.5cm (1″, 3 3/4″).

Cut up on the tabs on the short sides.  Fold on all the score lines.

Add adhesive to the outside of the small centre tabs on the short side.  Fold up to form a box.  Add more adhesive on the tabs as needed.  Adhere all together.

Place adhesive on the back of one side of the box.  Line up the bottom edge of the box with the bottom edge of the apron at the back to be sure it is straight. Adhere the straps on the apron and box.

I cut the small stitched sentiment shape to create the apron at the front and added a small logo from the Follow Your Art Washi Tape.

I hope you like the cute box/bag.  It’s a lot of fun to create.

This will be the last Wednesday’s WOW! for 2019.  We will have a couple of week’s break over Christmas and New Year and be back in 2020.  I look forward to sharing more with you in the new year.

If you have any suggestions of what you would like to see for future Wednesday’s WOW! then drop me a comment.

Happy creating,

Jenny
