5 CARDS WITH THE DANDY GARDEN PAPER!

We are saying farewell to this cool Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper. I have used it a lot! It’s a bit sad to see it go. But the great thing for you if you haven’t already got it is that it is now reduced!!

Let’s take a look at some of the cards I have made with this paper over the last few months. Some I have shared with you before.

Some of these cards were created during our Stampin’ Up! Onstage Online Event in November. You might have seen some versions of them around already.

The Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper is great reduced. Now down to $12. It’s a 6″x6″ pack of 48 sheets. AND some of the dragonflies you can punch with the Dragonfly Punch.

The Dragonfly Garden Bundle is continuing in the Annual Catalogue. So you won’t miss out on this.

Don’t miss the Ladybug Trinkets though. They are flying away. Now reduced to $10.40 for a pack of 20.

See all the Dragonfly Garden products in my store now -> HERE before they get up and fly away. You don’t want to miss them.

FLOWERS OF FRIENDSHIP DIRECTLY ON PATTERNED PAPER!

This card I’m sharing with you today I made as a sample card for my Flowers of Friendship class recently.

This card is a very easy, quick one to make. I came across this idea scrolling through Pinterest but I didn’t save the actual card so not sure who inspired me now. Sorry. 🙂

The flowers were stamped on the Petal Pink print in the Subtles Designer Series Paper stack. The great thing … you don’t have to colours the flowers. That makes for such a quick card.

They were stamped in Memento black with the sentiment. Before adhering the piece to the white card mat wrap some of the Lace Trim around.

I think I should try this with some of the other colours. That would look cool!

You can find the Flowers of Friendship Bundle -> HERE.

HAND-PENNED CARD SET WITH BASIC BORDERS DIES!

Today I have 5 very simple cards to share with you. I created these as samples for my launch a few weeks ago. I have used the Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper.

They might be simple but let me tell you what they show.

  1. They show a different print of the gorgeous Hand-Penned paper on each card.
  2. They show a decorative edge with a different die from the Basic Borders Dies.
  3. Each card has a different sentiment from the Many Messages stamp set cut with a different shape from the Messages Die.
  4. Each card has co-ordinating ribbon as an accent. The ribbon is the White Crinkled Seam Binding coloured with the Stampin’ Blends. (How cool is it to be able to get matching colours)

To finish I added an Opal Round or an Adhesive Pearl on each one.

I have added a vellum leaf under the sentiment punched out with the Sprig Punch.

Cards in a hurry that’s what they are. Probably the longest part was colouring the ribbon.

Check them out closer.

Mint Macaron

Daffodil Delight

Highland Heather

Cinnamon Cider

Blushing Bride

Very simple but I hope you like them.

Jenny

RECESSED PANEL CARDS + A VIDEO!

For today’s video I wanted to create some Recessed Panel cards to share with you. In the video I show you how to make one version but I have some other variations to share too. Have you tried this technique? It’s a great way to showcase some beautiful papers.

Check the video. I have the other cards to share with you too.

This is the card created in the video. I think when I looked at it after I should have cut the top curve higher to showcase more of the paper. You just don’t think of that in the middle of filming. 🙂

This one is the same version using a different print of the Pansy Petals paper. I used the Basic Borders Dies to create the curves in both of them.

Instead of curves you could make straight cuts in the card. For a difference though cut the card vertically. This one uses the Hand-Penned paper.

What about adding the pretty papers on top of the recess. This is a great way of showing that beautiful paper. This one uses the Art Gallery Designer Series Paper. For this I cut 2 angle cuts in the bottom right corner of the paper and added strips of the Poppy Parade card behind to highlight it.

I hope you get to create these soon. Choose whatever way you like to.

COLOR AND CONTOUR AND PARTY PUFFINS FOR MY CATALOGUE LAUNCH!

I wanted to share with you the cards everyone got to make at my 2021 Catalogue Launch last weekend. I think everyone liked them.

This card was with the new Color and Contours Bundle. I’m really enjoying this set. It’s so easy to use and I love that you can choose to colour the flowers or use the “solid” flower centres to colour them. For the leaves we coloured them with the Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blend. How pretty is the Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper edge. A strip is added just inside the card as you have the cut off scallop section on the front.

The next card uses the fun Party Puffins set. How cute are these little guys??

The pretty Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper was diecut one of the Basic Borders Dies. The stamped scalloped rectangle is from the Scalloped Contours Dies. You can add a little colour to the Puffin with the Stampin’ Blends.

The Color and Contours Bundle can be seen in my store -> HERE. I love the variations of dies in the Scalloped Contours Dies.

This is the cute Party Puffins stamp set. See it -> HERE in my store.

If you are in Australia you can shop in my store for these or any of the other great products. Head to the above links and shop around more if you like.

2021 ANUAL CATALOGUE KICK-OFF PHOTOS!

I recently held my Annual Catalogue Launch. Once again I forgot to take photos of the lovely people who came but I thought I would share the projects.

I made some cute gift tags up for the treat bags. These were using the Color and Contour Bundle. I used some of the lovely new Incolors for them.

Here is a close-up of each of the colours.

They were put inside of a cello bag which had some Memories and More cards and some Pale Papaya ribbon. The Ombre Incolor bags had some Sticky Notes, teabags and of course chocolates. I love that everything can be matchy-matchy. 🙂

Each guest could make up an Incolor Bookmark. The flowers were punched out using the Flowers and Leaves Punch. Such fun!

Next post I will share the cards each guest made. That was lots of fun too.

Happy Stamping,

Jenny

ETCHED IN NATURE WITH BASIC BORDERS DIES!

Another card with the Etched in Nature stamp set. This card I made for a virtual swap for our OnTour Stampin’ Up! Event we had recently.

The bird was coloured with the Watercolor Pencils and using the Water Painters to wash over the colours. I did try with the Stampin’ Blends but I just couldn’t get it how I wanted.

I’m so loving the Basic Borders Dies. There are 6 different border shapes you can use on your projects. For this I used the curved edge on the Highland Heather card and the Pointed Scallop type edge on the white tag.

These are the Basic Borders Dies. Aren’t they cool!

You can see them and order them in my store -> HERE.

The Etched in Nature set is lovely. There are some issues with the quality of stamping at the moment and Stampin’ Up! have withdrawn it until these issues are fixed. Hopefully it will be back available soon.

2021 STAMPIN’ UP! INCOLORS WITH THE ETCHED IN NATURE STAMP SET!

You have probably seen the new, lovely 2021-2023 Incolors right?

How pretty are they? What is your favourite?

I recently made a set of cards with these colours using the new Etched in Nature stamp set. I used a different image in the set for each card.

They are simple cards. I used the Basic Borders Dies to create a fancy edge. The black with the heat embossed sentiment creates a little ‘POP’. These sentiments are diecut with the Messages Die. Such a useful die for any of your small sentiments.

The Etched in Nature stamp set has been withdrawn for the moment. There were some issues with it to have a crisp stamped image. It will be back soon though once these have been addressed. I’m so glad that Stampin’ Up! stands by the quality of their products.

Have you checked all the new products out now in the catalogue?
