ONE DAY “CRAFTY ESCAPE”!

Come and join the fun in my first ever “Crafty Escape”. Yes! a time for you to craft and chat away.

WHEN: Saturday 13th Feb 2021 10.30am-3pm (Online via Facebook).

For this time it will only be available to Australian residents.

Games, Chatting and crafting will be run via a Private Facebook group. Join for as often as you want through the day. The link for the group will be sent out the day before the event.

Access to the videos and projects will be available for one month after the date so you can catch up if you can’t make it for any or all of the time.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

You will make 4 projects throughout the day. I will provide all the card materials (not including the stamps/punch) and provide instructions/videos to create the projects. You can create them throughout the day or at a later date if you can’t join in at the time. There will also be some other fun surprises.

COST: $95 (+ additional $20 to post the “Crafty Escape” Goody Box to you. Locals can arrange pickup). I can ship anywhere in Australia.

WHAT DOES IT INCLUDE?

Dragonfly Garden Bundle (stamps and punch), Card kits (card, Designer Series Paper and embellishments), and Mossy Meadow Trim.

PLUS some additional “extras”.

NOTE: The Dragonfly Garden Bundle will be used for 3 of the projects. The 4th Project you can use a sentiment stamp set that you have at home already.

A MERRY CURVY CHRISTMAS!

I have another card to share with you today with the Curvy Christmas stamp set and the Curvy Dies. This card was a bonus project for those who bought the Curvy Celebrations bundle last month. Each person received the card kit and instructions to create this card. I thought I would share the card with you though.

I am loving the Curvy Christmas stamp set – and the dies too. This card uses the Classic Christmas paper also.

There is only a few more weeks to grab the Curvy Christmas stamp set and the Classic Christmas paper and then they go for good. Don’t miss out on them.

A CURVY THINKING OF YOU CHRISTMAS CARD!

Today’s card I am sharing with you is another one we made at our Curvy Class a few weeks ago. I think this was a popular one too.

The Cherry Cobbler card mat was cut with the Curvy Dies and then embossed with the ‘dotty’ folder in the Wrapped in Texture Embossing Folders set. It was then adhered to the white card mat.

Before adhering the piece tie around some ribbon at the top. I used the Gold ribbon here. Everyone could choose the ribbon they wanted and it was interesting to see just how different they looked with the different ribbon choices. Some used the Gray Granite ribbon some the sparkly Snowflake Splendor ribbon.

The bow was stamped separately and fussy cut with scissors. It is hard to tell but we also use the Wink Of Stella Pen on it for a little sparkle. Finish the card with a Gold Faceted Gem for sparkle too.

We have one more class for the year next week and then we will be back in January 2021. If you are a Wollongong local come and join in the fun. I will post times soon.

GET ON THE DIAGONAL WITH THE CURVY CHRISTMAS!

Today’s card with the Curvy Christmas stamp set is one we made in our Curvy Class recently. I think it is my favourite of the cards. It is simple but really do you need much more with these gorgeous Curvy Dies??

The paper is from the Classic Christmas pack. I love all the different patterns in this pack and they are in the 3 colours – Cherry Cobbler, Shaded Spruce and Crumb Cake.

For this card I chose the diagonal print in the Cherry Cobbler. Each person in the class could choose their own print so it was good to see the different look just with having a different print. I should have taken a photo of them.

The piece of Designer Series Paper is just slightly smaller than the card base.

Just a tip when cutting the white card – Check which way the blade is BEFORE cutting. You want to make sure that the “scallop” pattern is along the top of the die and the cutting edge is along the bottom. Not the other way around or it will just cut a curved line. 🙂

After cutting the white card then stamp the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler. Add a few stars in Crumb Cake too.

2 great leaf sprigs were cut with the leaf die in the set in Shaded Spruce and adhered together on to the left hand edge. The Linen Thread bow is adhered with a glue dot. And why not finish with bling. I added a Gold Faceted Gem.

If you want to grab the Curvy Christmas or the Classic Christmas paper you only have until the beginning of January. Well really you will want it earlier so you can get some Christmas cards made right. 🙂

PLUSH POINSETTIA TEAM CARD FOR WORLD CARDMAKING DAY!

Last weekend you might know was World Cardmaking Day. For a little different challenge/activity for my team I sent them all a card kit containing the same materials. I asked them to create a card with the kit and share it on our team Facebook page. They could stamp, cut, emboss, add to it any way they liked. It’s been interesting to see everyone’s cards all with the same basic materials.

I hope I can share some of them with you soon if they don’t mind. Today I thought I would share you my card I created. Of course I had to create one too. 🙂

Firstly, this is the card kit I sent out. It has a basic card base in Cherry Cobbler and a smaller card mat. The white card is slightly smaller than the card mat. The piece of Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper is slightly smaller than the card base.

This is the card I created.

The holly from the Christmas Gleaming stamp set was coloured with Stampin’ Blends. Be sure to stamp these in Memento ink before you colour with the Blends. Then fussy cut them with scissors. No dies for these.

The card mats were diecut with the Stitched Rectangles Dies. It is hard to tell but I heat embossed the sentiment with Gold Embossing Powder. The card was finished with some of the gorgeous Gold Ribbon and a Gold Gilded Gem.
