DECEMBER WONDER CHRISTMAS!

I was playing around with a new stamp set last week ‘December Wonder’ from the Holiday Supplement Catalogue.  At first I dismissed the set because it was marked as Project Life – and well I don’t do a lot of Project Life and certainly not Christmas. (Did you think that about the set too???).  Then I had another look at it and thought it is still such a great set for your cardmaking. There are some really great images.  I will show you a few projects over the next few days with the set and you can see what you think.

Here are the cards I first made.

These cards were inspired by a card on Pinterest that used ‘Endless Wishes’ but I don’t have that set.  (Yes really!).  I stamped the small and large snowflake on the bottom of Whisper White card. Stamped the greeting from the set and then pierced holes around the card with the Paper Piercer and mat.  I tied around some ribbon, added a snowflake embellishment from the Frosted Sequins Embellishments in the Holiday Catalogue and added a Rhinestone to the centre.  Quick cards that you could reproduce in a hurry.

The colours I used were Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake with the Cherry Cobbler Sheer Linen Ribbon and then for the second one Lost Lagoon and Crumb Cake with Lost Lagoon Satin Ribbon.

CHRISTMAS STAMP A STACK!

Another Christmas Stamp A Stack is this Friday. Have you been thinking about coming along but not sure.  Then if you are in the local area (Wollongong area) you really must join us.  We are normal – kind of! ;).  We do have a lot of fun and laughs at these classes.  Here are the details for you.

EVERYDAY OCCASIONS CARD KIT!

I whipped these 2 cards up this morning.  They probably took me about 10 minutes each.  So easy with the ‘Everyday Occasions’ Card kit.  P1140533

CHRISTMAS CLASSES STARTING!

I know we don’t want to think about preparing for Christmas yet but it will sneak up on us.  This week I start my Christmas Stamp-A-Stack classes so if you are in the Wollongong area do come and join in.  Be organised this Christmas!  We are using the old and the new this month. Here are the details.

WHEN: This Friday 15th August at 10am or 7.30pm at my studio in East Corrimal.

COST: $15 OR FREE with a minimum order.

BYO: Scissors and Adhesives.

RSVP: By Wednesday evening please so I can prepare the card kits.  Just leave a comment or you can phone or email me.

BEGINNER’S CARDMAKING CLASSES!

I am starting a new series next week for people who would like to have a go at Cardmaking OR maybe they have lost their MOJO and are having trouble pulling out their stamps again. If you are in the Wollongong area I would love you to join in.  Cardmaking is a lot of fun and brings great pleasure not only to you when you make them but for the special person receiving your card.

SO, maybe you would like to come along or you know someone.  Tell them about it.  Here are the details.

“Classes just for the Beginner – or for someone who wants to kick their MOJO in to gear!!”

During these classes we will go through basic Stamping Techniques such as simple stamping, stamping off, masking, 2 step stamping and many others.

WHEN:  These are run over 2 sessions.

Friday 8th August at 10am or 7.30pm in East Corrimal.

And Friday 5th September 10am or 7.30pm. 

*Can’t make it, we can work out another time.

COST:  $15 per week or $20 for the 2 sessions paid up-front.
