A PAPER HUG WITH COMFORT AND HOPE!

This was another card created with the Comfort and Hope stamp set.

A paper hug with Comfort and Hope stamp set

To be honest I wasn’t sure where I was going with this card. Even though it is a simple card it took a long time. The sentiment alone took way longer than it should have!! After several variations I settled for this in the end. Still not sure whether I am loving it, but hey …I thought I would share it with you anyway.

I love the “Paper Hug” saying though.  That was stamped on Petal Pink and diecut with one of the Ornate Frames Dies.

Have you noticed the Comfort and Hope stamp set? It’s a great one for those caring cards.  And great for sending Paper Hugs. 🙂

In Australia? I would love you to order it from me. See it my store now -> HERE.

Thank You.  And I will pop a little card and small gift in the mail for you.

Happy Stamping,

Jenny

SU! CONVENTION NEWS – finally!!!

Here I am finally to update you with some news from the recent National Convention in Canberra a couple of weeks ago.  I know it has taken a while but it has been busy around here.  BUT before this news gets TOO old I will share a few things with you.  Convention was an awesome time and I have come away with so many great ideas.  Just need to find the time to do them!!

You need to go shopping at Memento Mall at Convention.  It’s a great place for exclusive products.  The best part is the presentation.  Check these out!

You don’t just pile them all on a table!!

Here is the centre flower display on this table.

What about these fabric flowers???

It’s a bit hard to tell from that photo but here is a close-up.

This is Centre Stage where the presentations were held.  Don’t you love that Giant Vintage Brad at the top???

The Product Resource Centre was a great place for inspiration.  So many clever people had their work displayed there.  Check out Ruth’s fantastic creations with the fabric.  (Stop by her blog here for some more of her amazing work!)

Have you seen the new In-Colors??

Gumball Green, Summer Starfruit, Primrose Petals, Raspberry Ripple, Midnight Muse.  What do you think of them???

At the Friday night class we had a Candy Bar Buffet.  Sorry not the best photo.  It was a bit dark and the Candy Buffet was a bit demolished by the time I got to it!

The last night was a Dinner and Presentation.  The dinner was yummy but check out dessert. Doesn’t it look yummy?? (It was!!)

Here is our group at the dinner. (I just realised how colour co-ordinated we are!)

Tracey, Lynne, Me, Leonie, Jenny S., Wendy.

So, there is a quick recap of Convention.  I will show you swaps next post.  I will be away for the weekend so I will see you early next week.

Have a good weekend. 🙂

Convention, Stampin' Up!

CONVENTION NEWS IS COMING!!!

Hey, It’s Me!!!  You probably wondered where I disappeared to.  Since I returned from Convention last week I haven’t stopped.  I held my Cancer Fundraiser last Saturday so I was busy getting ready for that.  I will update you on that shortly.  I have to say I only unpacked my stamping bag on Monday from Convention and I only uploaded my photos today.  How can one person take 500 photos about Convention.  Seriously, what can you really take photos of there!! 😉  So, I’m sorry I can’t show you too much about Convention now.  But, what can I say.  It is such an awesome time meeting up with other demonstrators that you chat to online and there is SOOO much inspiration from the Stage Presentations to the Display Boards.  I came away with my head buzzing.  I wish I was half as clever as these ladies.  One day when I grow up I hope to be that good!

Stampin’ Up! are an awesome company and so generous.  I came away with such a haul from all the freebies we received.  You might have already caught up on some happenings from other blogs but it is always different from another perspective, isn’t it???  So stay tuned I will get back to you in the next couple of days with a report.  If you haven’t already heard much then why not stop by Shelli’s blog.  Shelli Gardiner is the CEO from Stampin’ Up! and based in Utah.  She is such a beautiful person.  Shelli has a good coverage of Convention you can find here.  Check out the first photo.  That’s me on the far right!  Isn’t that amazing!  While you are there check out the post before that one.  Poor Shelli tells of her “Stuff Up” as she describes it when she presented on stage.  I felt so sorry for her but she handled it all so graciously.  I don’t feel so bad when I “Stuff Up” now!

Don’t forget to stop by again in the next few days to check out Convention.
