Today’s project is actually this week’s newsletter tutorial project that I am sending out. I don’t often share the projects here BUT I thought I would share it as it is the cute Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper for Sale-A-Bration.
This is a slimline card. I used the Basic Borders Dies for the “hills”.
Here is another card I made previously with the cute paper.

With our last week of Sale-A-Bration this week I can’t help but show off the cute Penguin Playmates Designer Series Paper. So watch out for lots of cute penguins and critters this week.
I made these tags to go out with the Catalogues at the start of Sale-A-Bration. I hadn’t shown you these yet.
Below are 3 of them to show you them closer. The tags were simply a strip of paper and punched at the top with the Fancy Tag Topper tied with some co-ordinating ribbon.
Also I added a strip of white card and punched at the top so that I could write a little note on them.
They were quick and easy to make but I hope they added a smile to those who received them.
Only a few days left for Sale-A-Bration. This Penguin Playmates Paper is one of the choices for your qualifying orders over $90.
You can shop in my store -> HERE or contact me directly on email at jghayward@yahoo.com. Be quick though!

WEDNESDAY’S WOW! #128 – Christmas Whimsy Kit. It’s even better than it looks!
Have you noticed the new Christmas Whimsy card kit just released? I have to be honest I saw it but passed it by BUT… I just checked the video and it is WAY better than it looks in print AND it sparkles! Check the video to see what I mean.
This kit ($33 AUD) contains all you need to create 8 cards. (4 each of 2 designs).
What I discovered about this kit?
The dimension to the images. I thought they were all one layer cards.
The added stamping
Sparkly elements.
This are so cool! These 8 cards would not take long at all to assemble.
Here are the contents in the kits AND the Christmas Whimsy Stamp set.
The sentiments in this stamp set are so lovely with such a nice font. You could use this stamp set over and over on other cards once these cards are finished.
I think this is a great set to get those quick Christmas cards together.

Have a great Wednesday,
Jenny
Sale-A-Bration is ending soon. Be sure to grab your Free choice with your order OR if you have so much to get it’s better value to join especially with picking an added bundle. Don’t wait!
A couple of months ago it was my Mum’s birthday. Yes a couple of months ago! We recently had to move her in to an aged card home. I didn’t know what to get her but I wanted to make a special card for her to sit on her windowsill. I thought a Card in a Box would be good.
I used the Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper with the Misty Moonlight print. Blue is her favourite colour so couldn’t miss that one. I used the Pierced Blooms Dies to create an array of flowers.
This shows it folded flat.
I have made a number of these Card In A Box type cards over the years. Click on the ‘tag’ Card in a Box and you will see them. If you want a tutorial for this version you can head -> HERE. I can’t remember now if this is the one I used. This one is in Metric.
Sadly with the restrictions (which are still going …) I couldn’t see her for her birthday but I delivered it to her home. I think she liked it. I enjoyed making it for her.
Hope you have a great week.
Jenny

For our Sale-A-Bration Saturday I thought we would check out the Summer Shadow Dies.
These dies co-ordinate with the Shaded Summer Stamp set available in the Annual Catalogue.
Check out some samples with these dies and with the stamp set too. Maybe you hadn’t noticed the stamp set that much in the catalogue. I know I hadn’t.
(These are created by Stampin’ Up! Artists).
The Summer Shadow dies have the outline die that works with the flower image in the stamp set. Then you can diecut some other flowers or leaf shapes.
You can create a simple leaf accent too shown on both these cards below.
The stamped images are heat embossed in white on 3 different colour card pieces and diecut with the flower shape.
These are the Summer Shadow Dies with detailed dies and the more solid shape for the flowers and leaves. They can be layered together.
Below is the Shaded Summer Stamp Set you can find in the Annual Catalogue. Or see it online -> HERE.
The Summer Shadow Dies can be chosen as your free choice for Sale-A-Bration with orders over $180 AUD. Why not include the Shaded Summer Stamp set in your order so you can use create with them together.

I recently came across a card idea in a magazine I was reading. I thought it looked cool. I wanted to replicate it with our inks and stamps. So I did! I put together a video for our Friday Flicks for you to see how to create it yourself.
These are the cards. I call it the Double Layer Duo Technique. It’s an interesting twist on the Double Layer Stamping Technique if you have tried that before.
I have used the gorgeous Delicate Dahlias stamp set. This works so well.
For this technique you will want a stamp set with a number of images. I can’t wait to try this with some other stamps.
Here is the video.
The Delicate Dahlias stamp set is available as a free choice for Sale-A-Bration with your qualifying orders over $180 AUD. There are only a few weeks left to grab this.

On the weekend I had a Zoom Craft and Chatwith some stamping friends. It was so nice to connect and chat and craft together. (You could join next time too) 🙂
I did some colouring during it. I’m not a big fan of colouring I will say. I find it hard to get the right shading. I coloured some images with the Stampin’ Blends and some with Watercolor Pencils.
The image from Feels Like Home stamp set was one I coloured. I do like colouring with Watercolor Pencils better.
I put the card together and used the paper from the Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper. It is a Christmas one but the colouring worked well with the image.
For the sentiment I masked some words with tape while inking it and then removed the tape to stamp just the “thank you”.
The Feels Like Home stamp set is one of thefree choices for Sale-A-Bration with your orders over $90 AUD. It’s a sweet image. There are other free choices too with your orders. You can check them out ->HERE.
In Australia? You can order in my store (use the link just above) and don’t forget to add your Sale-A-Bration choice and if you add the Host Code: GS9S4AY9 too.
