CUT AND FLIP FOR WEEK 4 – 12 WEEKS OF CHRISTMAS!

Back with Week 4 for our 12 Weeks of Christmas series.

This week we are looking at the Cut and Flip Method for our Christmas cards. This method can be a great one for making multiple cards at one time too. It’s very quick and easy.

You can just use this idea to make as a single card too.

You just need some gorgeous paper with co-ordinating patterns on each side of the paper. Watch the video below to find out how.

I have used the Season of Green and Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper on this one. And also used the Golden Greenery Stamps and Dies and the Greetings of the Season Stamps and Dies.

At the end of the video I share another version with different papers.

CUTE DEER WITH THE REINDEER FUN FOR WEEK 3 OF 12 WEEKS OF CHRISTMAS

It’s Week 3 for our 12 Weeks of Christmas series.

This card is using the Reindeer Fun Stamps and Dies which are just the cutest. The card shows a great way of using different papers together too. I used the Reindeer Days Designer Series Paper.

In the video I showed a template for variations in colour with the deer head. I have that below so you can refer back to it later.

They can look so different using different colours. Don’t forget the Red Glimmer for a Rudolph nose.

CHRISTMAS IS BETTER TOGETHER WITH STAMPIN’ UP! REINDEER DAYS!

I have been playing with the Reindeer Days Designer Series Paper recently. And of course the Reindeer Fun Stamps and Dies.

We have a class on this Friday with it so it’s been lots of fun. This is one of the cards we will be making in class.

In the die set it’s not just dies for cute reindeers it has dies to make the holly leaves and it also has gifts dies too. It is very versatile.

The little deer image I have used on this card doesn’t have a die. I have cut this with scissors.

12 WEEKS OF CHRISTMAS – WEEK 1

We are on the countdown. It’s 12 Weeks of Christmas projects coming up.

I’m going to share some quick, fun projects with a video to help inspire you with your Christmas creating. Let’s kick off.

Week 1 with the Nests of Winter paper.

It is such gorgeous paper. You don’t need a lot more. Add some texture with the Dots from the Basics 3D Embossing Folders and some of the gorgeous Cherry Cobbler and Gold Ribbon. It’s very lush.

The Seasons Greetings is from the Greetings of the Seasons Stamps and Dies.

COLOUR INKSPIRATIONS CHALLENGE 174 WITH EVERYDAY DETAILS

I played along with the Colour Inkspirations Challenge #174 for this week.

The colours were Pool Party, Bubble Bath, Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape. Very pretty colours together.

This is the card.

When I do a colour challenge I pull out the ink pads and see what patterned papers I have in those colours. Then I go through my stamps that may work with the colours. I narrowed it down to the Everyday Details stamps. I haven’t used that set a lot either.

The paper I used is from the Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper. The Pool Party paper is from the Delightful Floral Designer Series Pack.

The teacup and flowers were coloured with the Stampin’ Blends. I’m still working on my colouring …
