SUNDAY SUITES – ARTFULLY COMPOSED SUITES!

Back with some lovely new suites for Sunday Suites. Today’s suite let’s check out the Artfully Composed Suite.

With this suite add lush tropical greenery and soft vintage elements to your projects. The suite is designed to work together to create loose collage layers and elements.

Stamp directly onto the designs in the Artfully Composed Designer Series Paper with the images from the stamp set, or trim down the paper to create card fronts and layers. Also, add other elements with pieces of the Vellum Layering Designs and the Faux Sea Glass Shapes for even more texture and creative options.

The Artfully Composed Bundle

I love so much about this bundle – the sentiments, the “script” stamp, the dies to cut the stamps and to add texture backgrounds. Also a “zig zag” die piece.

The Artfully Composed Designer Series Paper

Colours are Bumblebee, Calypso Coral, Evening Evergreen, Just Jade, Mint Macaron, Old Olive, Pale Papaya, Pear Pizzazz.

The Vellum Layering Designs Paper

There are 12 sheets: 4 each of 3 designs. With this textured Vellum add backgrounds to your cards or add elements. The princes on the paper includes newsprint, handwritten letters, and a map. The Translucent vellum lets the cardstock colour to show through for gentle texture on paper projects.

Faux Sea Glass Shapes

Add a touch of frosted glass to your projects. In the pack there are150 adhesive-backed frosted shapes – 75 each size: 3 mm, 5 mm. Colours are White, Just Jade and Old Olive.

SIMPLY MARBLEOUS CATALOGUE CARDS!

I used the Many Marbleous Designer Series Paper available for Sale-A-Bration. There are some great marble style prints in this paper in many colours. I used a number of the colours showing both side of the print.

Here are a few of them.

The swirled edge above the White Frayed Ribbon is from the Brilliant Rainbow Dies both from the Mini Catalogue. The sentiment is from the Rainbow Happiness Stamp set and diecut using the new Beautiful Shapes Dies.

3 TREES WITH AMAZING SILHOUETTES STAMP SET!

I had a play with new products. YAY! This stamp set caught my eye when I first looked at the new catalogue. I was excited when we received it as a gift at Onstage recently. This set is the Amazing Silhouettes.

I can’t show you the stamp set yet but it has 3 “silhouette” images – the Tree, a butterfly and a leaf stem. It’s been a lot of fun to play with already.

I simply stamped the tree in 3 different shades of green. Pear Pizzazz, Shaded Spruce and Garden Green. The sentiment is from Many Messages and heat embossed in white.

The New Mini Catalogue starts January 4th. Not long now.

I can’t wait to share it all with you.

A special Congratulations card for my son on his engagement. I think this was the highlight of the year when my son – and now daughter-in-law were married!

TASTEFUL TOUCHES CHRISTMAS CARD!

On our Team Zoom Christmas chat on the weekend we were given a Challenge. Use Non-Christmas products to create a Christmas card – in 20 minutes! YIKES!

I have to say it took me half that time to work out what I was going to do but here is my card.

I ended up using the Tasteful Touches stamp set and the Watercolor Shapes Stamp set. Also who would have thought that the You’re A Peach Designer Series Paper would work for Christmas.

What would you do? Why not give it a try.

JOY CHRISTMAS STAR!

Today I’m sharing a bonus project for our last Christmas class held this weekend.

We created this Joy Christmas Star. It could be a tree decoration or a gift tag. I used the Stitched Stars Dies. The star was inspired by Sara Douglass. You can see her version -> HERE.

It looks so lovely hanging on the tree.

WEDNESDAY’S WOW! #130 – EXTEND YOUR DIECUTS!

Wednesday’s WOW! #130 – Extending your diecuts to make them larger.

This is a tip I use so often. It works well with punched out shapes too. If you have a die or a punch that you wish would be just a little larger, cut the piece in half and separate the pieces to adhere them under the images or sentiment.

This is what Stampin’ Up! have done in the tag on page 3 of the Mini Catalogue with the Christmas Season bundle and the Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper -(and it’s a gorgeous tag they have created too).

Try that with your diecuts or punches next time.
