SUNDAY SUITES WITH CELEBRATORY SIPS SUITE ~

Bring a little Cheers To You for this Sunday with this Sunday Suites – The Celebratory Sips Suite.

Mix up those favourite drinks and add a little garnish or a fancy umbrella to the top and you’re away. And they are Lo-Cal and Low Alcoholic too. This suite could make up some fun cards for any occasion.

Aren’t they fun colours and the prints could be used for so many occasions. It features fruit, flowers and summer-inspired drinks. The colours in the papers are – Berry Burst, Blackberry Bliss, Bubble Bath, Cloud Cover, Daffodil Delight, Lemon Lime Twist, Old Olive, Peach Pie, Pretty in Pink, Secret Sea, Strawberry Slush, Timid Tiger.

So let’s see some samples with this suite. These are created by Stampin’ Up! artists.

This one going for a different look with potted plants.

Fussy cut the drinks from the paper and create your own row of drinks on a slim line card.

FRAMED PRETTY FLORALS CARD – SAME BUT DIFFERENT!

I have been playing a lot with the Pretty Florals Bundle. I have shared some different ones already. These 2 cards are very similar. There are just some variations.

They have the same paper, the Florals in Bloom Paper, and I have created the black frames to really highlight the flowers. You might be able to tell the differences though.

The one with the Fresh Freesia flowers is using the larger diecut flower and the outline edge. I sponged over a little Fresh Freesia ink to add some extra definition. This one is on a Fresh Freesia Card Base. The sentiment is from the Simply Said Stamp Set and diecut with the Mixed Labels Dies. We made this one in our class last week using the Pretty Florals Bundle.

The other one is with the small pink flowers. The flowers are in Pretty In Pink and the little edges, (Not sure what you would call them) are in the Strawberry Slush. This one has a Pretty In Pink Card Base. The sentiment on this one is from the Stippled Roses Stamp Set I think.

So which one do you prefer?

This is a great bundle. I have had a lot of fun creating with it.

SPARKLE WITH THE BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLIES ~

Back to more Butterfly cards. I have used the Beautiful Butterflies a lot!

This was one of the cards we made at class last week for my Card Buffet. It’s simple but with the diecut butterfly shape cut in paper it adds an extra element. The paper is from the Mixed Media Florals Paper. Then a little sparkle in Glimmer Paper was added. Got to love a sparkly, fluttery butterfly!

The wavy Embossed background gives a look of movement for the butterfly too. The Soft Waves Embossing Folder is a great versatile Folder. You don’t have to just use it for wavy seas.

The sentiment is from the Labeled With Love Stamp Set.

SWEET SUNDAY WITH PARTY PANDAS STAMP SET ~

I am loving pandas at the moment. They are so cute and clumsy. I remembered the Party Pandas Stamp Set. I sold mine some time ago after it retired. I was sad about that. It is such a cute set.

BUT, I received a new set on Mother’s Day last weekend. I was excited. So I spent Mother’s Day afternoon creating with it. These are the cards I came up with.

On the Left Hand Card, I used the Soft Waves Embossing Folder. The rectangle is diecut with one of the Textured Notes Dies. The Thinking of You is from the With You In Mind Stamp Set.

On the Right Hand Card the paper is from the Mixed Media Florals Pack.

I think I will have a bit of fun creating with these Pandas.

Catalogues, Stampin' Up!

2025-2027 IN COLOR COMPARISONS + FREE CHART~

The new In Colors are out now. You might have seen them. If not Welcome to the 2025-2027 In Colors.

The In Colors are quite a mix of tones this year I will say. You have the bright Darling Duckling and Timid Tiger. Also the returning Strawberry Slush. Then the more neutral colours of Cloud Cover and Secret Sea.

What is your favourite?

I have used Secret Sea a bit already. It’s not so blue as Night of Navy and not dark and heavy as Black. It seems to work well with many colours.

Each year I like to do a Comparison with other Stampin’ Up! Colours.

They are all comparing to current colours except for including Mint Macaron.

Cloud Cover Update –

The Cloud Cover Ink Pad has had some issues with the colour being stable. Since Stampin’ Up! pride themselves in quality this has been unacceptable despite all the workings around. As a result Stampin’ Up! have decided to remove the Cloud Cover Ink Pad. The colour will still be available in Cardstock, Markers and Ink Refill. If you wish to still have an Ink Pad perhaps get a Mini Ink Spot and use the refill to create your own. I have heard some demonstrators ink up the Secret Sea and stamp it off before stamping to create a very close match.

STAMPIN’ UP! PRETTY FLORALS AND FLORALS IN BLOOM ~

Sometimes you make a card and you are really not sure. You keep looking at it and wonder. There is something not quite right. This was one of those cards. I’m just not sure.

I thought I would show you anyway. It’s the first card I made with the new Pretty Florals Bundle and working with the new 2025 In Colors. Something just wasnt working for me.

I CASED the layout of a card from a recent catalogue by Stampin’ Up! artists. That looked really nice but it just didn’t seem to work with this one. That’s ok though. It happens.

Here we have the card.

The In Colors I used on this one are Secret Sea, Cloud Cover and the Timid Tiger. I also used Peach Pie with it which works well.

I have created more with this bundle. I have shared some already but will share more soon.

CREATE A WINDOW FLAP FOLD CARD + A VIDEO!

This week’s video is a Window Flap Fold Card. It gives a little surprise when you start opening the card.

This is the card when it is closed up.

I used the Florals in Bloom Designer Series Paper. It has such lovely colours and prints in the pack. The flowers are from the Pretty Florals Bundle. These are new in the 2025 Annual Catalogue just out this week.

When you open the card…

The sentiment is from the Loveliest Tree Stamp Set. For the window you can use any shape but I think circles do work best.

This is just one of them.

These Pretty Florals Dies are – well pretty. 😀

They are part of the Pretty Florals Bundle with the Stamps and Dies. The paper is The Florals in Bloom Paper. There is gorgeous flower prints. For this card I chose the subtle pattern so as not to clash with the flowers.

And you can’t see the full shine on the side of the card but that is from the Flower Garden Foils Specialty Paper.
