SALE-A-BRATION SATURDAY – SUMMER SHADOW DIES!

For our Sale-A-Bration Saturday I thought we would check out the Summer Shadow Dies.

These dies co-ordinate with the Shaded Summer Stamp set available in the Annual Catalogue.

Check out some samples with these dies and with the stamp set too. Maybe you hadn’t noticed the stamp set that much in the catalogue. I know I hadn’t.

(These are created by Stampin’ Up! Artists).

The Summer Shadow dies have the outline die that works with the flower image in the stamp set. Then you can diecut some other flowers or leaf shapes.

You can create a simple leaf accent too shown on both these cards below.

The stamped images are heat embossed in white on 3 different colour card pieces and diecut with the flower shape.

These are the Summer Shadow Dies with detailed dies and the more solid shape for the flowers and leaves. They can be layered together.

BEAUTIFULLY PENNED PAPER WEEK – HAVE A COLOURED BACKGROUND!

Another card for our Beautifully Penned Paper Week. Are you getting lots of ideas yet for this paper?

On this card you can colour the paper to create a lovely background. Not much more is needed really. Add a sentiment and add some pretty ribbon.

I have coloured this one in Mint Macaron. I have to say very quickly too. Oops! And my Dark Stampin’ Blends ran out. You get the idea though right. I thought I would show you anyway.

How cool though that the Soft Succulent ribbon matches so well. Add a little sparkle with the Be Dazzling Paper and you are good to go. 🙂

BEAUTIFULLY PENNED PAPER WEEK – COLOUR THE FLOWERS!

Another project for you for Beautifully Penned Paper Week.

With the black and white paper prints you can colour the flowers like I have on this card. These were added to a different print of the Beautifully Penned Designer Series Paper.

The card base and ribbon were Pale Papaya but the flowers were actually coloured with the Light Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends. (I think it was the light one anyway). The sentiment label was diecut with one of the Scalloped Contours Dies.

Today’s project.

For this card I used the Delicate Dahlias stamp set which is another free choice for Sale-A-Bration with orders over $180 AUD. It is very pretty with the detail you can get.

I used 2 prints of the Beautifully Penned DSP on this card and went with an angle on the floral pattern.

The scallop rectangle is diecut with one from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies and used some Highland Heather Grosgrain Ribbon.

SALE-A-BRATION SATURDAY – BEAUTIFULLY PENNED DESIGNER SERIES PAPER!

We have so many lovely papers for Sale-A-Bration this round. The Beautifully Penned Designer Series Paper is just one. I thought we should take a look at this one today.

This paper has 12 sheets of patterned paper: 4 each of 3 double-sided designs in 12″ x 12″ size. It comes in varying black and white patterns. You will notice that many of the patterns are similar to the Hand-Penned DSP in the Annual Catalogue.

You can choose to colour the papers or leave them as they are. I have been using them a lot recently. Some I have coloured and some I have left as they are. I have too many cards to just share in one post so I think this will be a Beautifully Penned Week! Watch out for this in the coming week.

Just to get your started I will share a few projects.

These cute pillow boxes (made by Stampin’ Up! artists) are created with the Pretty Pillow Box Dies.

For this card (also created by Stampin’ Up! artists) several patterns of the paper was used. The paper was diecut with the floral background and the white card piece was matted on the stripy pattern. Some little flowers were fussy cut out and added.

Here is a card I created recently with the papers. Don’t wasted even the little strips. They will all co-ordinate together on one card.

I love black with POPS of pink. This is Polished Pink. You could use any colour though to make it POP. What colour would you use??

The stamp set is from the Color and Contour stamp set.
