SNORKELLING HIPPEST HIPPOS!

I shared this card on Facebook the other day with the Hippest Hippos stamp set and the Hippos Dies and just have to share it with you now. This card just makes me smile. 🙂

My snorkelling hippos are swimming with their Green Turtle Friend.

The top scallop water edge is from the Scalloped Contours Dies. The clouds are from the Wave Dies. The sentiment strip is from the Sending Dies. The rest you can find in the Hippos Dies. It’s great how all these dies come together to create a fun scene.

The turtle is from the Whale Done set.

Be sure to grab the Hippest Hippos stamp set now. And you might like to get the Hippos Dies to be able to dress them up.

WEDNESDAY’S WOW! #138 – THE HOTTEST HIPPEST HIPPOS!

Wednesday’s WOW! #138 – Check out the Hippest Hippos.

Some cute little hippos are in town. I couldn’t help but tell you about them for our Wednesday’s WOW! this week.

The Hippest Hippos stamp set is really cool. But let’s really take a moment to notice the Hippo Dies though.

You can dress up your hippos to be really well …hip. Create a snorkelling hippo, a hippo splashing about in a tub, or walking along in the rain, maybe a dancing hippo, or just a sweet little hippo sending you some love. It’s lots of fun.

And just a note on that sunrays card. It is stamped with the Rays of Light Background stamp, then each sunray is cut along the lines. Some are lifted up and some are even cut out. Pretty cool idea!

The Hippo Dies that go with them just take it to another level. But today I’m not showing the dies. Let’s just have a simple card with the Hippest Hippos. I have pulled out the 2022 In Colors too using the 2022 In Color Designer Series Paper.

The card mat was embossed with the Bark 3D Embossing Folder.

I created a different edge from the 2022-2024 In Color paper with the Basic Borders Dies. The leafy stem is from the Splendid Stems Dies.

A SUNSHINE AND RAINBOWS CARD TO BRIGHTEN YOUR DAY!

It’s a little overcast and rainy here at the moment. Nothing like a little bright and “sunshine and rainbows” card to brighten your day.

I used some of the fun Sunshine and Rainbows Paper available for Sale-A-Bration on this card. I’m still not sure of the chunky knot I made with the White Frayed Ribbon. What are your thoughts?

STAMPIN’ UP! FRIENDLY HELLO WITH THE DIORAMA DIES!

Sharing this card with you today. I had this idea in my head. It didn’t quite turn out the way I had intended. I’m still not sure about it.

The idea was to create a window with the Layering Diorama Dies and using the gorgeous Friendly Hello Designer Series Paper.

With the Layering Diorama Dies cut a piece from the Paper. Move the die around until you are happy with the image inside the frame. The great thing with this is there is no stamping but lots of colour. I wonder if I should have added more colour in the images though??

With that same size die and one smaller cut a frame with the Granny Apple Green print in the pack. Then adhere these 2 pieces together. I actually added Dimensionals under the Green frame to add some extra depth.

On a piece of Granny Apple Green card emboss this with the Gingham Embossing Folder and add this to your white card base. Before adhering your Diorama Frame add some ribbon underneath. Then add your sentiment. And I also used one of little Brushed Brass Butterflies.

It’s Friday Flicks so time for another video.

Today’s card is using the cute Awesome Otters stamp set available as one of the free choices for Sale-A-Bration with your orders over $90. It is a bit adorable. I have another version too with the Friendly Hello stamp set.

A FLATTENED RAINBOWS OF HAPPINESS CARD!

I’m putting this card out there. Is it just me?? I feel that this rainbow is a bit flat. I added them the wrong way. But I thought I would show you anyway. Maybe it’s near the top of the rainbow?? Maybe it’s just so cloudy you can’t see it all? Is there a wrong way? Maybe I’m overthinking it …

I used the Brilliant Rainbows Dies with the Sunshine and Rainbows Designer Series Paper. I do love the pretty paper though with it’s fun colours and patterns.

The sentiment is from the Many Messages Stamp set.
