WISHING YOU WELL MAKE AND TAKE!

Since I am sharing cards with the Wishing You Well set lately I thought I should show you this one.  This card was one of the cards we made at my Holiday Catalogue Launch a few weeks ago.  Everyone liked making this card even though it is fairly simple.  We made this on the weekend at a private class too.  They all liked it there also. 🙂  (BTW: If you can’t make a class you can book a Private class with me with a couple of friends. They are always a fun time).

The layout is based on the Freshly Made Sketches #352 – you can see that here.

There was the option to stamp the bow on scrap white paper and cut it out (no Framelits or punch for that sorry!).  This was raised up with Dimensionals and that looked good too. The strip of paper is from the Country Lane Designer Series Paper.  The sentiment stamped on Crushed Curry was cut with the Bunch of Banners Framelits and we trimmed off one of the ends of the banner. We added a few loops of Silver Thread behind it.  To add some colour to the white space the “dots” from Timeless Textures was stamped in several places in Mint Macaron.

I made another similar card to this in Christmas colours.  Check that out in tomorrow’s post.

Thanks for stopping by today,

Jenny

LEMON LIME GRAPE BOWS!

Just a quick card for this Sunday night.  A few days ago I shared a card with my new favourite colour combination with the Wishing You Well set.  Today I have another with those colours of Lemon Lime Twist and Gorgeous Grape.

This is a Mini card 10cm x10cm (4″ x 4″) and they are very quick to make.  Great for sending out little notes or with gifts.  I lined the bows up by sight.  You could use the Stamparatus and I did start doing that but the spacing wasn’t working out right.  The sentiment was stamped in Gorgeous Grape on Lemon Lime card and cut with the Farmhouse Framelits Dies.  I added a few loops of Silver Thread on the back of it and raised it up with Dimensionals.

Hope you like these quick cards.  Have a great week.

GORGEOUS GRAPE AND LEMON LIME TWIST – WHAT A COMBINATION!

I have been using the Wishing You Well set  lately and it is one we used at my Holiday Catalogue Launch last weekend.  I made a few samples which I will show you over the next few days.

When making these cards I discovered a new Colour combination which is becoming a favourite. I have seen these 2 colours paired together quite a bit over the internet recently and I just had to try it myself.  How bright and fresh are these 2 colours, Lemon Lime Twist and Gorgeous Grape.

The Gorgeous Grape card is embossed with the Tin Tile Embossing Folder (which I think I adhered wrong again!).  This Wishing You Well set is one of the Distinktive style sets.  This means it gives different opacities to the stamped image creating depth to your image.  It gives a very effective result without too much stamping.

I simply stamped the leafy stem once with the Lemon Lime Twist onto white card.  This was then cut with one of the Layering Oval Framelits.  I could have layered the oval on to a different piece of card but instead I sponged around the edge of the oval.  The sentiment was stamped on Lemon Lime Twist card and cut with a Framelit from the Farmhouse Framelits Dies.  I wrapped some Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon around the Gorgeous Grape card before assembling it to the base card.

It’s a quick card to put together.  Watch for more cards with this combination.  Why not try it yourself??

This is the Wishing You Well set if you haven’t noticed it in the Holiday Catalogue.  For $33 AUS for clear mount it is pretty good value and is a great set for any occasion, Thinking of you cards, sympathy, birthday and Christmas.  It covers all bases I think. 🙂

Have a great day,

Jenny

WEDNESDAY’S WOW! #39 – TAKE YOUR PICK TOOL!

It’s Wednesday! And we have another edition of Wednesday’s WOW! #39 for you today I thought it would be good to check out this new little gadget in the catalogue – The Take your Pick Tool.  I keep calling it the Pick It tool because I can never remember the name. LOL!

This neat little Multi-purpose pick-up tool makes picking up sequins and other smaller embellishments so much easier.  It contains putty in the end and this is used to pick up the item and place it on your project.  BUT, there is more to this tool.  It has some handy-dandy little tool attachments to use in other areas of your creating.  Check out the video to see.

Pretty clever hey!  What about those neat little attachments?  You can get replacement putty too when you are out of it.

This Take Your Pick tool can be found on p30 of the Holiday catalogue OR you can see it in my store now -> HERE – and throw one in with your next order.

If you choose to order through me this week please use the HOST CODE: ME4VSE3W     I appreciate your orders and I usually send a little Thanks out your way so please be sure not to mark your details as ‘anonymous’ to the order otherwise I won’t know where to send a gift to you.

Jenny

SO SANTA MOPED!

I shared some cards yesterday using the So Santa set for a Blog Hop.  Did you see them?  Jump back a post to check them out if you missed them.

Today I have another card for you using the So Santa set.  I love the cool Santa on the Moped.

I coloured this image with the Watercolor Pencils.   I looped around some Silver Thread onto the back of the stamped piece.  This piece was adhered on to a piece of the All Is Bright Designer Series Paper and then adhered to a Real Red Card base.

The sentiment was stamped on black card in Versamark and heat embossed with White Embossing Powder.  To finish the card I added a Real Red Rhinestone.

Do you like this cool dude?  It’s such a fun set.

This set is available in the 2018 Holiday Catalogue. You can see it and order it in my store now -> HERE. Please use the Host Code: ME4VSE3W   or order directly to me (Australian residents only).

Thanks for visiting me.

ESAD 2018 HOLIDAY CATALOGUE BLOG HOP!

Welcome to the ESAD 2018 Holiday Catalogue Blog Hop.  It’s nice to have you stop by.  I am sure you will see lots of gorgeous projects along the hop with the lovely new products from the new Holiday Catalogue.

Firstly though, ESAD is a great group of Demonstrators from Australia and New Zealand and we love sharing with you regularly.

You would have come from Rachael’s blog HERE or you are starting from this blog.  You can just hop from one post to the other though in the links shown in each post and see the projects.

For my projects today I have used the very cute So Santa set.  I love that we have some “summery” Christmas sets because in Australia we don’t have snow and snowmen at Christmas time.

These are the 2 cards I have made.

Don’t you love the cool Santa dude in his boardies.  (yes, that’s Aussie for Board shorts).  They were both coloured with the Stampin’ Blends.  I kept the layout the same for both and just changed them slightly.  Both the sentiments are from the So Santa set.  The paper is from the Under The Mistletoe Designer Series Paper from the Annual Catalogue.  Of course you could use any paper.  I just flagged the end of the pieces.  They were adhered to a white card mat that I had embossed with the Softly Falling Embossing Folder.

One of the images I cut with the Layering Squares Framelits and I cut a Silver Glimmer Paper scallop square to go behind it.  The other was cut with the Layering Circles Framelits with a scallop circle behind it.

Hope you like these Santas??

If you haven’t already checked the Holiday Catalogue out, you can click on the link in the right hand column.

Now you are off to Rochelle’s blog.  I am sure she has something amazing to share with you.  Click on the Next Arrow below.  If you get lost then there is a list of everyone participating further below.  Thanks for visiting. 🙂

ANOTHER FARMHOUSE CHRISTMAS TRUCK!

Yesterday I shared a card I made with the truck in the Farmhouse Christmas set.  I have another one to show you today.

Yesterday’s truck was coloured with the Watercolor Pencils.  This one I have coloured it with the Stampin’ Write Markers because I didn’t have the Real Red Blends at the time and I wanted it red. I have used the same Designer Series Paper as the previous card which is from the Under The Mistletoe pack and I added a strip of Copper Foil under the stamped piece. A red card mat was embossed with the new Tin Tile Embossing Folder.  It is a lovely folder.  I have to say, when I was assembling the card I accidentally put the adhesive on the front of the embossed piece and so stuck it down with the other side showing.  I don’t think it matters too much but it is different.

The sentiment is from one in the Farmhouse Christmas set and cut with the stitched rectangle in the Farmhouse Framelits. You don’t need to do too much with it but I did add some loops of Copper Thread behind it.

Hope you like this one?  Thanks for visiting.  I hope your weekend is going along great.

HAPPY CHRISTMAS WISHES TRUCK!

Playing with the Farmhouse Christmas set again.

This one is coloured with the Watercolor Pencils and washed over lightly with the Aquapainter.  It was stamped on Shimmer Paper with Stazon. The patterned Paper is from 2 different packs.  The red pattern is from the All is Bright Designer Series Paper from the Holiday Catalogue and the “check” one is from the Under The Mistletoe Designer Series Paper from the Annual Catalogue. They work well together though.  The ribbon is from the Tea Room Ribbon Combo.

I have another one using this set to show you tomorrow.  Stop on by and check it out.

Have a great day,

Jenny
