I couldn’t resist the Sweet Little Stockings bundle when I saw it in the new Mini Catalogue and the adorable Sweet Stockings Designer Series Paper. Whether you love dogs or cats it’s so cute!
For this card I coloured the stocking and the puppy with the Stampin’ Blends. At the top of the stocking I used the Wink of Stella for a little sparkle.
Isn’t the Sweet Little Stockings just the cutest?? There are the little stockings dies. (and some of them match the stockings on the paper). There are also some other fun little elements.
Watch out for more with this suite. It’s just too adorable.

For our Friday Flicks today I show you how to create a Pinwheel Tower Card.
You might have seen these around. I have been fascinated with them and wanted to have a go. They are so easy – and they look so cool. You will want to try one yourself.
I have used the Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper and the Tidings and Trimmings Bundle.
Here are each of the other panels.
It can easily fold flat. This particular size is too large for a standard envelope but you can create your own OR cut the panels 2cm (3/4″) thinner and it should work.
I have the video below for you or it is now on Youtube to view. I give the measurements for them in Metric and Imperial but don’t stress I have the measurements below.
PINWHEEL TOWER CARD MEASUREMENTS
There are a number of versions around. This one was based on Karen’s card -> HERE.
Tower Base – 17cm x 14.8cm 7″ x 6″ Scored at 2.5cm, 5cm, 7.5cm, 10cm (1″, 2″, 3″, 4″)
Panels – 3 @ 7cm x 14.8cm 3″ x 6″
Designer Series Paper Pieces – 4 @ 14.4cm x 6.6cm 5 3/4″ x 2 3/4″
– 4 @ 14.4cm x 4.1cm 5 3/4″ x 1 3/4″
Hope you get to make one yourself.
The Tidings of Christmas paper is one that is reduced at the moment in the Paper Sale. This finishes on Monday. So not long to save 15% on it.
To warm up to them I looked up a sketch to play along with. The Inspire.Create.Challenge #095 email arrived in my inbox so thought I would have a go. So I made 2 cards with it.
This is the sketch. You can find the details on their blog -> HERE.
These are the cards I created. Both used the upcoming Sweet Stockings Designer Series Paper which you will be able to order from August 3rd. It’s such cute paper!
That cat doesn’t look too impressed but then how many cats would be impressed with deer antlers on it’s head. 🙂
The sentiment and santa hat is from the stamp set Sweet Little Stockings. The santa hat was coloured with the Stampin’ Blends.
This card below I flipped the sketch. The sentiment and the leaf diecut is from the Tidings and Trimmings Bundle which is available now in the Annual catalogue. The shiny ribbon is the Gold Shimmer Ribbon which will be in the Mini Catalogue.
Simple cards but then what more do you need with this sketch. Let the paper make a statement.

Last post I shared a SIMPLE style with the Artistically Inked stamp set. Just stamps, ink and paper.
Today I am sharing AVID style with the bundle. AVID is more layering, diecuts, embellishments. I have 2 different versions. I would love to know what is your favourite.
The white card is embossed with the Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder. On the second card I had stamped the “swoosh” stamp on the white card before embossing. I wasn’t sure how I felt about that. I used the Paper Lattice on the card mat as a background.
The sentiment for the 2nd card is from the Art Gallery set and diecut with the Floral Gallery Dies.
The Artistically Inked Bundle is in my store and you can see some other gorgeous samples with it.

I have recently been playing with the Artistically Inked stamp set.
For this first one I just kept it Simple. Stamps, Ink and Paper. I love how this stamp set makes you feel an “artist”. The images give a watercolour look so you don’t even have to add water.
Come back and check the AVID versions very soon.
The Artistically Inked stamp set is part of the Expressions In Ink Suite. Such gorgeous products these ones. Check them out Online -> HERE.

Happy Saturday. I hope there is some stamping in the mix for you.
The Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper has been very popular I think. It is so pretty. Flowers on one side and Gingham and other patterns on the other. What’s not to love!
Of course this paper works lovely with the Pansy Patch Stamp Set and Pansy Dies but why not use it on it’s own.
For this card I used the “paper tole” on the pansies. From the pansy print I cut several out and snipped off sections. I think the Pansy Dies will cut these too which is cool and if you don’t like cutting.
After cutting them all layer them together and raise up the smaller parts with Dimensionals to give dimension.
I used some of the Fresh Freesia Gingham print in the Pansy Petals DSP pack for the card. The sentiment is from the Tasteful Touches stamp set.
Why not try it yourself.
Ifyou need this paper this is one of the packs at 15% off this month which is a bonus!
