PIERCED BLOOMS CARD IN A BOX!

I forgot to show you this project.

A couple of months ago it was my Mum’s birthday. Yes a couple of months ago! We recently had to move her in to an aged card home. I didn’t know what to get her but I wanted to make a special card for her to sit on her windowsill. I thought a Card in a Box would be good.

I used the Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper with the Misty Moonlight print. Blue is her favourite colour so couldn’t miss that one. I used the Pierced Blooms Dies to create an array of flowers.

This shows it folded flat.

I have made a number of these Card In A Box type cards over the years. Click on the ‘tag’ Card in a Box and you will see them. If you want a tutorial for this version you can head -> HERE. I can’t remember now if this is the one I used. This one is in Metric.

Sadly with the restrictions (which are still going …) I couldn’t see her for her birthday but I delivered it to her home. I think she liked it. I enjoyed making it for her.

Hope you have a great week.

DANDY GARDEN DRAGONFLY CARD!

What more do you need really when you make a card? Some pretty paper and a sentiment.

The paper from the Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper with lots of fluttering dragonflies makes for a very quick card. I added some strips of the striped paper behind it for added contrast. Just use strips too. Don’t use a whole piece of the paper behind it as it is wasted.

I added some loops of the Midnight Muse Twine behind the sentiment with a small punched Bumblebee dragonfly.

The Dandy Garden paper is retiring and leaving VERY SOON. It is reduced too. 🙂

5 CARDS WITH THE DANDY GARDEN PAPER!

We are saying farewell to this cool Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper. I have used it a lot! It’s a bit sad to see it go. But the great thing for you if you haven’t already got it is that it is now reduced!!

Let’s take a look at some of the cards I have made with this paper over the last few months. Some I have shared with you before.

Some of these cards were created during our Stampin’ Up! Onstage Online Event in November. You might have seen some versions of them around already.

The Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper is great reduced. Now down to $12. It’s a 6″x6″ pack of 48 sheets. AND some of the dragonflies you can punch with the Dragonfly Punch.

The Dragonfly Garden Bundle is continuing in the Annual Catalogue. So you won’t miss out on this.

Don’t miss the Ladybug Trinkets though. They are flying away. Now reduced to $10.40 for a pack of 20.

See all the Dragonfly Garden products in my store now -> HERE before they get up and fly away. You don’t want to miss them.

CALYPSO DRAGONFLY GARDEN!

I love the Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper but I will say some of the prints are quite “strong” can I say. What do you do when you have such a strong paper? You can use small strips which is what I do often or with this print with the Dandelions I used it as a background.

This was one of the cards we made in a recent Dragonfly class.

The white card was cut with one of the Stitched Rectangles Dies and the daisies stamped on the card. You can add a touch of colour on them too if you like. Some did in the class.

The dragonfly was stamped on white card and the “solid” stamp was stamped in Calypso Coral to add some colour. Before you add this piece and the Designer Series Paper piece to the white card base tie some Mossy Meadow trim around the paper.

If you are in the Wollongong area come and join in my classes. They are on each fortnight. But I always have the option by mail too. So no matter where you are in Australia you can take part.

Hope your weekend has some creating in it.

STAMPIN’ UP! – BUTTERFLIES AND DAISIES WITH THE DRAGONFLY GARDEN SET!

Another card with the Dragonfly Garden Bundle. I made this a little while ago so thought it was time to share it with you. This time though I stamped the daisies on the card and added some little butterflies buzzing around.

I just added a mini dragonfly on it for some interest. How cool that you can punch 2 different sizes of dragonflies.

I added a strip of the Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper along with some Misty Moonlight Baker’s Twine. The sentiment was punched with the Banners Pick A Punch.

It’s great with this stamp set with the variety of stamps to create some different looks with it.

STAMPIN’ UP! BUTTERFLY BIJOU MINI TREAT BAG + VIDEO!

Today’s project and video is a little different. I have a cute Mini Treat Bag for you. It’s using the gorgeous Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper. I also have a couple of other versions in this design.

You can check the video below and I have the measurements further down so you can refer back to it.

Here is the Mini Treat Bag.

Notice the bottom edge? I diecut the “hatch” type die on it. Whether you stamp or diecut on this you will need to do this before you assemble the bag.

I added a detailed Diecut butterfly from the Brilliant Wings Dies set cut in Mint Macaron. I diecut a stitched circle with the Stitched Shapes Die between the butterfly and bag to help separate the 2 so the butterfly doesn’t get lost on the bag.

Here is the video. If you receive this post by email the video may not show so be sure to head to my blog to catch the video or heat to Youtube.

I made 2 other versions too. A sweet one with the Dandy Garden Suite. It’s a great way to use the dandelion paper. Also one with the Whale of A Time Designer Series Paper.

MOSSY MEADOW DRAGONFLY GARDEN CARD!

It will be a mix of dragonflies and butterflies this week. Some of these dragonflies cards I created months ago but now just getting to show you.

This card with the Dragonfly Garden Stamps and Punches was made as part of the Stampin’ Up! Virtual OnTour event back in November. You have probably seen versions of it in your blog travels.

This card uses strips of the Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper. It’s a fun layout I think. I really want to try this again. (…adds it to my ever-growing list of cards to do!)

It’s so easy with the Dragonfly Punch in this bundle to just stamp and punch out these dragonflies.

In Australia? You can find these Dragonflies in my store -> HERE.

Or you can contact me directly on 0439 844574.

Will it be dragonflies or butterflies next post?? Be sure to come and check it out.

DANDY GARDEN BUMBLEBEES!

I have lots of Dandy Garden Suite projects that I haven’t even shared with you. I have one today and will get and share some more very soon.

Today’s card uses the cute little bees on the Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper. I have to be honest. I am not a huge “bee” fan in terms of paper and stamps. So I wasn’t sure what I would do with this one.

The Lighting is not great. It was a little overcast when I took this one. It gives you an idea though.

The card is simple. A strip of the bee print on some white card that I had stamped with the butterflies and then embosses with the Subtles Embossing Folder. I love doing that. It just gives an added texture to your cards.

Really I don’t use the Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon that much so it was good to be able to pull it out on this card. It matches it well I think.

The Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper below.

The Dragonfly Garden Bundle. It has the matching Dragonfly Punch although I didn’t use it on this particular project.
