STAMPIN’ UP! JOY TO YOU WITH COTTAGE WREATHS FOR CHRISTMAS!

This was one of the cards we made at last week’s Christmas Crafternoon event. It needed it to be kept fairly simple with so many people attending and many new to stamping too.

It uses the Joy To You Stamp Set and the Cottage Wreaths set. Along with the Joy of Christmas Designer Series Paper.

To streamline the process I diecut the white piece using the Nested Essentials Dies and diecut the red bow from the Country Wreaths Dies.

Everyone enjoyed the creating even those who had never done it before. So that is always exciting to see.

Stampin' Up!

SHINING JOY TO YOU CHRISTMAS CARD!

This card is all shiny and sparkly and blue! Do you like Blue for Christmas?

This card uses lots of new products. The Joy To You Stamp Set, the Shining Brightly Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Night of Navy and Gold Glittered Ribbon.

Here is another view and it shows lots of the sparkle.

On this card it is hard to tell but I inked the stamp in Balmy Blue and then the lower section inked it in the Night of Navy. There is just a subtle difference.

A SIMPLE TRANSLUCENT FLORALS CARD!

It’s the Translucent Florals again. I am liking them and I have had lots of fun playing with these.

This card is one that was made in the Creativity Now event for Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators a few months ago. You might have seen this or similar versions around. I have only got to make this now.

We will be making this and 2 other great cards in our Translucent Florals class this week. Come along if you are in the local Wollongong area. Let me know by Thursday.

CLASS DETAILS:

The class is this Friday 15th at 10am and then also Saturday 23rd at 2pm. Cost is $25. (Saturday class let me know by Thursday 21st).

STAMPIN’ UP! TRANSLUCENT FLORALS!

I have a new favourite. Yes indeed!

If you have followed me along for a while you may know that I am not big on colouring. I find it hard and I know I need to work on it BUT when there is a stamp set that I don’t have to colour I’m all over it. 🙂

I love the new Translucent Florals Bundle that is in the upcoming Mini Catalogue starting on September 6th.

With the stamps you get colour gradients just by stamping. No need for colouring. And there are some really lovely, versatile sentiments in the set.

I have been playing with it a bit these past few days and I will show you more but for today this is one of the cards I have created with it.

There is the stamp set and the co-ordinating dies for it.

SENDING CARD LOVE!

I have received so many lovely cards in the mail recently. RAK’s or Random Acts of Kindness cards. I have received them for so many different reasons.

It does warm your heart. (And I did miss out some too in this photo – Oops! Sorry).

Thank You for the love.

Isn’t it nice we can send love in a card.

Why not send a little card love yourself to someone this week. I can tell you it will bring a smile to their face. After all that’s what we do this for isn’t it. And it’s so much nicer than a bill in the mail.

STAMPIN’ UP! TRUCKING ALONG WITH A TRAILER.

Not just a truck (pickup/ute) but you can make a trailer as well. It makes a fun addition using the Trucking Along Bundle.

To do this – Stamp 2 trucks, punch them out. With one snip the back off and cut a little “tab” near the front end of the rear of the truck. If that makes sense. I will do a little video of it shortly and post it to Facebook and Instagram for you to see so be sure you follow along there.

You can build a scene with the other stamps in the set.

The sentiment from Sending Smiles is quite apt for this card I think. It is diecut with the co-ordinating die from the Sending Dies.

This is the fun Trucking Along Stamp set and the Punch. You can use this for many different occasions.

This was one of the cards we created in our class today. So fun!

EVERLASTING BEAUTY WITH AN EASY BACKGROUND!

This is an easy card when you don’t want to fuss with colouring or creating backgrounds. I shared how to on my Instagram Reel last week if you caught it there.

You can use your Patterned paper. This one uses the Hello Irresistible Paper. It is a really cool effect. The flower from Everlasting Beauty is stamped in black. It comes together quickly.

The white card is embossed with the Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder. The sentiment is from the Sending Smiles Stamp set and cut with the co-ordinating dies. I have used a little Bubble Bath Sheer Ribbon under.

Why not try that idea yourself. Grab some patterned paper and create.

I have been playing a lot with the Everlasting Beauty stamp Set so I thought we can all have fun creating with it in class this week.

Classes are in my studio in East Corrimal, Wollongong region.
