A LITTLE BLACK MAGIC WITH A BEAUTIFUL PEACOCK!

I really love the effect of using the Stampin’ Blends over heat embossing (AKA Black Magic Technique). It seems to really give a vibrancy to the images. I showed one with the Epic Celebrations set yesterday. Today it is the Beautiful Peacock set.

The Beautiful Peacock set is one of the Sale-A-Bration Free choices. I haven’t used this a lot but it is quite a fun set. I have seen some fantastic samples with it.

To create the Black Magic Effect

Stamp your image in Versamark and Heat Emboss in White Embossing Powder. When cooled colour over the embossing with the Stampin’ Blends. (The Blends will not be available to order now until late May but store this idea in mind for later if you haven’t got them yet). The Blends colours I used were the Light Old Olive, the Dark Daffodil Delight and the Light Rich Razzleberry.

I stamped the Peacock body on a scrap piece of black card and then coloured it and cut it out with scissors. This was then raised up off the card with Dimensionals.

To finish the card stamp your sentiment on Lemon Lime Twist card and cut with the smallest of the Lots of Labels Framelits. I added some loops of Silver Thread under the label piece before raising it up off the card with Dimensionals and added some Rhinestones in the centres of the Flowers. The card base is Sweet Sugarplum.

As if Sale-A-Bration isn’t exciting enough but Stampin’ Up! keep on giving! Just announced: Stampin’ Up! have released some new choices for Sale-A-Bration AND they are catalogue products. Check them out.

As already for Sale-A-Bration there are 2 levels of products. Level 1 is for orders from $90 (green circle choices). Level 2 are orders from $180 (orange circle choices). I know the products aren’t too clear in this image but you can see them in the catalogue.

So have you stocked up on your cardstock and ink? What about the reinkers for the retiring incolors? Throw in some adhesive and you are at least at $90 before you get to stamps and dies. As a bonus you choose something for Free!

RESERVE YOUR STAMPARATUS NOW!

Exciting news! The Reservation for the Stamparatus is now open AND ALL reservations will be filled. Isn’t that great news!!

You will want one:

– if you have a 2 step or 3 step stamp set and want the images lined up well.

– if you would like to re-stamp an image that doesn’t come out well.

– if you have multiple cards to make and would like them the same each time.

I think it is a necessary tool for any stamper!

TO RESERVE YOUR OWN:

– If you haven’t already set up an account then you need to do that first.

– to reserve your Stamparatus, you will need to add your credit card details. The total will not be deducted until your Stamparatus is shipped to you in early March. The total is $85 + shipping.

– there is a limit of one per person in the Reservation period which is from the 6th-31st December.

– This tool will be available in the upcoming 2018 Annual catalogue.

WATCH IT WEDNESDAY #12 – USING THE 3D TEXTURED IMPRESSIONS EMBOSSING FOLDERS!

For this week’s WATCH IT WEDNESDAY #12 I came across this video from Stampin’ Up! using the 3D Textured Impressions Embossing Folders. There are a number of these in the catalogue along with the regular Embossing Folders.

There are a couple of tips to remember when using the 3D ones that I thought it might be good to share this with you to help you get a deeper, crisper impression on your card. I hope you find this helpful.

I don’t know about you but I always forget to mist my card when I am using these folders.

Now this video used the lovely Layered Leaves but this week two of the 3D folders are on special for Extravaganza week. These are the Cable Knit and the Hexagons 3D.

RESERVE YOUR STAMPARATUS TODAY – BUT THERE IS ONLY A LIMITED NUMBER SO BE QUICK!

PLEASE NOTE: The reservation window has now closed for this round. Be ready early on December 6th (Sydney AUST) time to submit your reservation then.

I know SO MANY people who have been waiting for Stampin’ Up! to bring out a Stamp Positioner. I can say the day has finally arrived! Over the last 18 months I have been working on a team with Stampin’ Up! to help develop this tool and I can say that this great piece of equipment will help you in your stamping. Whether you need to overstamp an image as it hasn’t come out well, or you have multiple of the same image to stamp, or just to line up 2 or 3 step stamped images easily. This Stamparatus is what you will need.

The Stamparatus will be available early next year but to help keep up with supplies Stampin’ Up! are offering a reservation order. So you reserve it now and pay for it when they arrive in Australia. There are 3 reservation periods. The first Reservation period begins TODAY in which delivery will be early February. Then there will be one in December and another in January with later delivery dates. These will then be available in the new Annual Catalogue in June 2018.

But I know since you have been waiting for this you will want to reserve your own NOW right?? This is how you can reserve one Today.
