IRRESISTIBLE BLOOMS WITH SCORING!

I have a card to share with you that I shared creating on an Instagram Reel just recently. I thought I would share it with you here today.

This card uses the Irresistible Blooms Stamps and Dies and the Hello Irresistible Designer Series Paper. I have shared lots already with it. It is so gorgeous.

You can get a look of blending in the background of the circle using one of the prints in the Hello Irresistible Paper. You don’t have the mess with it.

What I particularly wanted to point out to you is the Scored lines. See them better in this image below top and bottom of the words.

To create the scored lines:

Stamp the sentiment. Measure the distance below the sentiment and above giving a little space either side.
Flip the card over. Using the Paper Trimmer and the Scoring Blade score a line near the bottom which would be below the sentiment.
Score higher up which should be just above the sentiment. Score another line just above that.

You can try a scored line vertically. Try a frame around the card. There are so many options. I hope you get to try one yourself.

SOMETHING NEW – IRRESISTIBLE BLOOMS!

Something new is coming tomorrow. – Irresistible Blooms. Ooh! It is so gorgeous. ❤

I’m not going to say too much about it now but you will want to check back tomorrow.

Here is just one card I have created with this recently.

The paper is so gorgeous. For this one I have just cut a mat sized piece of the lovely print and then cut it in to 3. Layering it then on white card and on the Calypso Coral Card Base.

The leaves were diecut from one of the other prints in the pack. And the little “dotty strips” were added from the die set.

I have shared the Adorable Owls before but have to share this card too. I’m really loving these cute owls. I’m not normally in to owls but these are just so happy. You can’t help but smile.

This one was coloured with the Watercolor Pencils and just a light wash over it. I teamed it with the Dandy Designs Paper also from Sale-A-Bration. Who said blue and green can’t be seen together?? 😉

AROUND THE BEND WITH DAINTY FLOWERS + VIDEO!

I have had more fun playing with the Around the Bend Bundle. I’m loving these stamps and dies.

Today’s project comes with a video with 9+ Tips in using this bundle when putting together this card.

The paper is the gorgeous Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper available for Sale-A-Bration. I love the pretty prints in this paper and I think it works so well.

WEDNESDAY’S WOW! #144 – ADD COLOUR TO YOUR DIECUTS

Back with our Wednesday’s WOW for the year. These are little tips, techniques, ideas to help your crafting.

Wednesday’s WOW! #144 – A fun way to add colour to your diecut pieces.

I came across this idea and thought it was so cool. Want to add some colour?

Grab a small piece of card and your colouring pencils. Scribble some colour in patches on the card in different areas just a little larger than the die you want to use. No need to add water to blend the colour. When you diecut it the piece will have “lines” or different colourings which add some lovely colour contrasts.

HOOT, HOOT – ADORABLE OWL CARD!

I don’t do a lot of colouring but I have been having a little fun with the Adorable Owls Stamp Set recently. They are cute!

This card I showed on my Facebook Live last week. You might have caught it but I thought I would share it with you now.

I have coloured the owl with the Watercolor Pencils and given it a light wash with the Water Painter. Just be sure to use Stazon ink to stamp the image in if you are using Water so the black ink doesn’t run.

Another card with the Beautifully Happy Stamp set. Well it is so lovely.

Here is today’s card.

The “dotted” diecut edge is using the Around the Bend Dies. I love the added element you get with these dies and you can see just a peek of that gorgeous paper.

I have used the Favored Flowers Designer Series Paper again.

The sentiment is diecut with the Something Fancy Dies. I have just diecut one and then added some loops of Linen Thread.

BEAUTIFULLY HAPPY CARD 1

I played with the Beautifully Happy Stamp Set recently.

It is a gorgeous set. And bonus it is a 2 step stamp set so you don’t have to colour it if you don’t wish to. You can use the “filler” stamps. That makes for quick cards. Of course you can colour the line images if you like too.
