How gorgeous is the Waves of the Ocean Designer Series Paper?? I am just loving it.
This card today really let’s it shine.
You don’t need much more to it. I created a frame effect with the Stitched Rectangles Dies.
I just love the blue and green colours together.
This card was inspired by one I saw on my travels but I didn’t take a note of it. This was one of my cards in the recent Waves of the Ocean Cards By Mail. I think it has been a popular one and just wanted to share it with you.
Today is the day! The Retirement List has been released for the 2021 Annual Catalogue and 2022 Mini Catalogue.
It’s your Last Chance to get these retiring products. Maybe there are some of these products on your Wish List you have been eyeing off.
Some products are discounted by up to 50% off!! What great savings. 🙂
These are only available While Supplies Last.
Of course there are some I am sad to see go but that’s for another day. I just wanted to let you know ASAP so you can head there to check it out and shop.
I have another Hello Ladybug card for you today. I think the ladybug in Poppy Parade just POPS against the black.
The black and white paper is from the All Together Designer Series Paper. While this paper has “hands” on one side I find the other side so versatile for creating other projects.
Wednesday’s WOW! #133 – How to Layer the Daffodil Dies.
You might have seen the Daffodil Dies in the Mini Catalogue. Now I will admit when I see dies like this I get overwhelmed of how to put them together. I came across these layering ideas shared from Stampin’ Up! I thought it might help you.
That makes it so much easier to see them visually like this. I hope that helps you like it did me.

Wednesday’s WOW! #126 –Create 4 cards from one sheet of white card.
This is a fun twist on the one sheet wonder style of cards. And it is SO EASY! This is great if you need some cards in a hurry.
For this version I haven’t stamped over the entire sheet of card. To make it easier first make a mark in pencil on the halfway point on each side. That can help you visually where to stamp.
I have used the Sale-A-Bration set Delicate Dahlias for this one and used the new 2021-2023 Incolors – Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya, Polished Pink, Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen.
Start roughly in the centre of the card and stamp outwards from there. Using the different images and different colours. Don’t completely stamp the full card.
Then cut the card in quarters.
You will need to trim down the stamped card pieces for the front of the card. Trim off 4mm or 1/8″ on the width and the length. If you want to add another card mat under the stamped piece you will need to trim an additional 4mm or 1/8″. I just kept these cards simple.
The sentiment is diecut with the Tasteful Labels Dies. A silver banner is diecut from the Be Dazzling Specialty Paper also available as a Sale-A-Bration choice. I added bling of course with the In Color Jewels.
These cards are going out to new team members this month. Do you want one?? Come and join in with my JEN’s INK Team. It doesn’t matter if you don’t want to “demonstrate” but I know you would love the discount on your stamping supplies and you will enjoy the fun we have. 🙂
It’s awesome value this month and in September with Sale-A-Bration. You pick an additional free bundle on top of the already great value.
For our Friday Flicks today I show you how to create a Pinwheel Tower Card.
You might have seen these around. I have been fascinated with them and wanted to have a go. They are so easy – and they look so cool. You will want to try one yourself.
I have used the Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper and the Tidings and Trimmings Bundle.
Here are each of the other panels.
It can easily fold flat. This particular size is too large for a standard envelope but you can create your own OR cut the panels 2cm (3/4″) thinner and it should work.
I have the video below for you or it is now on Youtube to view. I give the measurements for them in Metric and Imperial but don’t stress I have the measurements below.
PINWHEEL TOWER CARD MEASUREMENTS
There are a number of versions around. This one was based on Karen’s card -> HERE.
Tower Base – 17cm x 14.8cm 7″ x 6″ Scored at 2.5cm, 5cm, 7.5cm, 10cm (1″, 2″, 3″, 4″)
Panels – 3 @ 7cm x 14.8cm 3″ x 6″
