Wednesday’s WOW! #98. I thought we could look at this cute little stamp set Little Ladybug. After all it’s only around for another 2 weeks.
I love the fun fold on this card below. It’s like a Z-fold card.
Notice on the little card above the row of stamped ladybugs on the card base?? Apart from cute – check the video below. It tells you about the sweet Little Ladybug stamp set but shows you how to easily create lined up ladybugs.
The Little Ladybug stamp set is available as a Host Gift for orders over $500. So it could be your own orders (because you know you want that much!) Or get a few friends together and combine orders. It’s Sale-A-Bration so you receive your choice of the Sale-A-Bration item of your choice too with your qualifying orders.
Don’t forget the Co-ordinating dies for this stamp set too. They are only available for another 2 weeks too. See them -> HERE. $50 AUD.
I want to share this card with you today. I made it at our team Shoebox Swaplast week. I will show you the other cards we made later but thought I would show you this one today as I recreated it and filmed a video to show you how it was made. Hope you like it.
It’s using the Painted Poppies set and is a fun card – although a little messy. This card was shared to me by Deborah in our Inky Fingers Team.
Just a quick overview of how to make the card but be sure to watch the video (and you can subscribe to my channel on Youtube to catch new updates. It’s early days but I am working on it!) 🙂
Use your clear block and press the ink pad on to the block to get some ink. Use the Aquapainter to spread the ink around and make it a little watery.
Press the Painted Poppies “splodge” stamp on to the clear block to pick up some ink. Press it on to your card. I used Very Vanilla. You could use Thick Whisper White, Shimmery White or Watercolor card. Repeat this 3 more times over the card in a “circular” pattern. Use the Aquapainter to spread the ink and also add some more ink from the block if you need to.
Allow to dry then stamp the flower outlines over the “splodges”. Stamp the leaves in black over the card.
Use the large “splatter” stamp and ink it up in Mossy Meadow ink. Stamp off first on scrap paper then stamp over the larger leaves. Use the smaller “splatter” to stamp over the smaller leaves. Clean the stamp, ink up the stamp in Gray Granite then stamp off first on to scrap paper. Stamp on the small leaves.
Diecut flower centres add them to the card and stamp the sentiment. Adhere the card to the card base.
Last week I shared on my Facebook page this card with the Painted Poppies stamps. I wanted to go with a different colour of poppy than what you might be seeing all around the internet. I looked up some poppy colours and saw a gorgeous blue one called the Himalayan Poppy. So I tried to recreate this.
The Balmy Blue card piece was embossed with the Stone 3D Embossing Folder.A new favourite of mine. The Poppy was coloured with the Stampin’ Blends.
I put together a video showing how I created the card. You can check out this video on Youtube ->HERE.
Apologies in advance. I am still working this video thing out so be patient. 😉
If you need these Painted Poppies (or any other products) in your life then you can grab them in my store now ->HERE.

Today is the day. You can now get to see all the wonderful products in the 2019 Holiday Catalogue. I can’t wait to share it all with you. I have been creating up a storm with these products over the past few weeks.
Today I want to share some of my favourites with you. I have just shared a video on Youtube showing my favourites – and a few sneaks of projects that you will see coming up on my blog.
So let’s have a look. Be sure to leave a comment to go in the draw. If you are outside Australia and you are drawn I can’t send product but I can send a couple of handmade cards made by me. 🙂
I know I shared my favourites but I thought I would add a few here for you.
CATALOGUE FAVOURITES
Favourite Suite – Brightly Gleaming
Favourite Bundle – Itty Bitty Christmas
Favourite Dies – Ornate Frames Dies
There are great swirly frames – and some of them are stitched!!!
Favourite Stamp Set – Playful Penguins
I have been having so much fun with these little penguins. These are just some of the cards made recently.
A VERY SPECIAL STAMP SET
There is a very special stamp set in the catalogue that you just can’t miss. Nature’s Beauty on the very last page.
Stampin’ Up! are donating $4.25 AUD from the sale of each stamp set to go Mental Health organisations in Australia. This is really close to my heart so if you buy any stamp set PLEASE CONSIDER THIS ONE. Resources for Mental Health are very limiting so this may help just that little bit more.
It’s Sunday Suites time. Today we are looking at the Pressed Petals Suite. I have seen a lot of projects with this suite recently so I thought it would be timely to look at it.
The Pressed Petals Suite includes a sweet stamp set, Path of Petals, for those special encouraging occasions. (See it closer below). I love the Petal Labels Dies. They create some very detailed, delicate labels for your sentiments.
This is the Path of Petals stamp set.
With these Suites you can use just one Item code to get all of these items together. The Pressed Petals Suite is #152193 and is $167.76 AUD
In the Suite it includes the Pressed Petals Journal. I have only just noticed the embossed cover. Isn’t that gorgeous?? You can decorate the Journal with some simple decorations. Not too much or you cover the lovely embossing. On this one it is using the Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper.
You have to have a closer look at the Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper. It looks like pressed flowers on the paper. Do you remember pressing flowers when you were younger? Picking the flowers then pressing them in piles of books between paper. It is just like it.
A couple more samples for you using this suite of products.
I have to show you the Pressed Petals Specialty Washi Tape. It contains 2 rolls. One roll is a Crumb Cake tape. The other petal one is not your regular Washi Tape here. The roll of tape actually contains individual petals. You can use the petals on their own as an embellishment or you can peel one off at a time and build up your flower. It is $13 AUD It is very clever. I haven’t seen anything like that before have you?
If you want to have a closer look at this suite check the video out below. It shows you in much more detail the journal and the gorgeous Washi Tape.
So there is the Pressed Petals Suite.
If you want to grab one of these products or all of them you can grab them in my store now -> HERE. (Australian residents). Please use the Host Code: HCCFFCSU
Some months ago for a Wednesday’s WOW! I told you about the new Take Your Pick tool. You can see that post -> HERE if you missed it. It was way back at Wednesday’s WOW!#39.

It’s pretty handy right??

If you haven’t already got the Take Your Pick Tool then be sure to grab that too. You can find it in my store ->HERE.
Wednesday’s WOW! #75. Today is something pretty. I have recently discovered the Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper. It is so pretty. I thought we would have a closer look at it as the photos in the catalogue really don’t show it enough. I will look closer at this suite at a later date but you really need to see the gorgeousness of this paper.
Let’s catch this video.
Now this paper looks like hand-painted prints – and it is! One of the product designers who designed this paper was so inspired by the works of Monet when she visited New York that she was inspired to create “Monet-esque paper for Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper. It is truly gorgeous.
Here are some creations using this paper by Stampin’ Up! artists.
I love the colours used in this paper. They are: Balmy Blue, Blackberry Bliss, Blueberry Bushel, Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry, Flirty Flamingo, Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, Petal Pink, So Saffron and Whisper White.
What do you think of this paper? You don’t need too much more to your card or your project with this paper. Just add a sentiment and maybe some ribbon. It looks gorgeous framed too.
Today is a double Whammy for you. We have Wednesday’s WOW! and also we are up to Day 3 of my Bird Ballad Week. Today I have a video for you. I have been colouring the little birds and the flowers from the Free As A Bird stamp set so thought I would actually share a video with you.
This is the card I will show you how to colour in the video.
See the video below. Bare in mind that this is a new area for me so it’s a work in progress AND I have a bit of a cold so the volume might be a bit quiet. Just turn up your volume and watch away. And you can fast forward in parts of the colouring. 🙂 I will work on that too. I do appreciate your feedback though. Good or bad – I can handle it. Thank You. 🙂
I really like the Stampin’ Blends for colouring. They make it so easy to get the contrast in colours. I love that a lot of the images withStampin’ Up!have shading on different parts of the image so you can follow these to get the contrast as well with the Light and DarkStampin’ Blends.
I hope you found this helpful? Would you like more videos like this? Constructive criticisms welcome.
I still have more to show you with this bundle so be sure to stop by again tomorrow as we continue our Bird Ballad Week,

The gorgeous Painted Seasons Designer Series Paperis so pretty. It’s really hard to see it clearly online. The lovely Painted Seasons stamp set has a number of flower and leaf images to build your project. You can add any sentiment set you like to it to create a card for any occasion you like. I think this set would be great for the pretty feminine cards, the hard-to-make masculine cards and even Christmas. What a versatile set.
