STAMPIN’ UP! BOTTLED HAPPINESS PAIR!

I have 2 cards for you today. Same design. I have just changed the colours.

I have used the Bottled Happiness Bundle (stamps and punch). And the gorgeous Sun Prints Designer Series Paper. The left one is in Orchid Oasis and the Right one in Sweet Sorbet. What would be your favourite?

There are lots of different images in the Bottled Happiness Stamp set. And I am warming to it. I wasn’t sure about this set at first. I received it as a gift from Stampin’ Up! from our recent Ontour event.

I do love that you have a separate stamp in the set that does the line inside the bottle. It gives it extra dimension I think. I only just discovered that when I was making this card.

This is the Bottled Happiness Bundle.

And the Sun Prints Designer Series Paper. This really doesn’t do it justice. You need to check out all the pages individually to see how gorgeous it is.

You can check them out in my store -> HERE.

If you need to shop and get some gorgeousness head to my store at the above link for the paper. If shopping online please use the Host Code: CMDF9NBR

Have a great day,

WEDNESDAY’S WOW! #135 – DIES THAT CUT THE PAPER!

Wednesday’s WOW! #135 – Diecut those paper images!

Stampin’ Up! are clever. A big appeal with Stampin’ Up! is the co-ordination and it is not just with the colours. The tools work with the other products too.

Have you noticed? Many dies available in a suite can be used to diecut the images on the Designer Series Paper. No snipping with scissors for many of these.

I discovered this with the Blossoming Happiness Dies on the flowers of the Hues Of Happiness Paper. And it is not just the larger flower. It is also with the smaller flowers and the leaves.

Check it out below.

I had started cutting these with scissors and then discovered this little gem so just had to share with you.

Have a happy Wednesday,

Jenny

THIS CARD WAS A CHALLENGE!

If you follow me along on Facebook you might have seen a discussion over this card.

I wasn’t happy with it. I thought it was the vellum. I had lots of great suggestions and have now updated the card.

I removed the vellum piece. That really wasn’t working right. I tried a diecut circle or shape but the white circle there was the largest I had. In the end I lengthened the ribbon and kept it simple.

I have used the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper and the Bottled Happiness Stamp Set. The sentiment is from Inspired Thoughts.

I thought I would share it with because even when we have been creating cards for some time and we are so-called “professionals” (kind of), we still have challenges. I haven’t even shown you many of the cards that haven’t made it out in to the world. So don’t be discouraged if sometimes your cards don’t come up the way you would like. Just keep creating and …if you are unsure always ask. People love to share their ideas.

Keep on creating,

Jenny

WILD AND SWEET KOALA 2 WAYS!

I have 2 slightly different cards. Both with the Koala from the Wild and Sweet Stamp Set. Both are in Gray Granite and the paper is from the Sun Prints Designer Series Paper.

What’s your pick? Scallops or Stripes version.

The sentiment for the Scallop one is from the Sending Wishes Bundle. The “Make a Difference” sentiment (which is actually a really lovely sentiment to say to someone don’t you think??) is from the Inspiring Thoughts Stamp set.

The scallop edge is using the Scalloped Contour Dies.

The stripes is using the Stripes Folder from the Stripes and Splatters 3D Embossing Folder pair. The Embossing Folders are narrow but I ran it through twice to cover the card mat. You don’t really even notice the “join”.

Have you checked out the new Catalogue yet?? Lots to love.

You can download the Catalogue -> HERE (For Australian residents). Scroll right to the bottom.

You can check it out online in my store -> HERE.

If shopping online please use the Host Code: CMDF9NBR Or you can contact me directly.

Now don’t forget – tell me which version you like.

Happy Stamping,

Jenny

This one is coloured with the Watercolour Pencils. The background paper is from the Sun Prints Designer Series Paper. This sentiment from the On The Horizon Stamp set works well with this set don’t you think?? It is diecut with the new Stylish Shapes Dies.

HALF-FOLD LET’S SET SAIL CARD!

I have been playing with the Let’s Set Sail stamps and punch recently. Today we had fun using these in class. I thought I would share with you one of the cards which was quite popular.

It’s a simple card really and just cutting off the front of the card at half way.

Let's Set Sail Half Fold card

This is the inside.

I am loving the circle diecut using the Beautiful Shapes Dies. Do you notice the squiggle embossed line around the edge? It gives your images a fun effect. It layers well with one of the Layering Circles Dies too.

I love that the Waves of the Ocean Designer Series Paper co-ordinates so well with the stamps and dies too.

The paper is running out very soon. Be sure to grab it.

Don’t miss out on the Last Chance items from the retiring Annual Catalogue. There are only days left.

INCOLOR BOTTLED HAPPINESS CARD!

I had a play with the new Incolors this week. I will share more with them later. I have also been playing with the new Bottled Happiness stamps and punch.

I will admit I wasn’t sure of this bundle when I first got it. The stamp set was a bonus from Stampin’ Up! for the Ontour event recently. I am warming up to it and will share more with these soon too. It’s great fun playing with new products.

The sentiment is diecut with a die from the new Nature’s Prints Dies. It’s a very different shape to what we have seen before.

Hope you like it.

Be sure to check back soon for some more Bottled Happiness cards – and new colours. 🙂

STAMPIN’ UP! WAVES OF THE OCEAN PELICAN!

How gorgeous is the Waves of the Ocean Designer Series Paper?? I am just loving it.

This card today really let’s it shine.

You don’t need much more to it. I created a frame effect with the Stitched Rectangles Dies.

I just love the blue and green colours together.

This card was inspired by one I saw on my travels but I didn’t take a note of it. This was one of my cards in the recent Waves of the Ocean Cards By Mail. I think it has been a popular one and just wanted to share it with you.

Hope you have a great day,

Jenny
