JOY TO THE WORLD CHRISTMAS CLASS

Christmas is fast approaching and it’s time to get those Christmas cards made and ready to send. When you are in a hurry this Joy To The World Card kit will help you make gorgeous cards in no time.

The card kit is easy to put together yourself – but why not have some fun creating it together. You can join in one of my face-to-face classes or join online.

Create with this gorgeous Joy To The World card kit to make some beautiful Christmas cards.

You will create 8 cards (4 each of 2 designs) using your own kit. The kit includes card bases, envelopes, embellishments, diecuts as well as a stamp set and inkspot. Any materials left over as well as the stamp set you get to keep to create more cards.

In addition, in the class you will also get to see some variations in using this kit.

COST:

Cost is awesome value with all the materials you receive. $37 + 5% shipping ($1.85 if ordering directly with me). You can order online and have it shipped directly to you for $5.95 shipping.

STARRY CURVY CHRISTMAS!

I have been having fun playing with the Curvy Christmas set and the Curvy Dies. As well as the Quite Curvy set as well.

For today’s card I teamed it with the Stitched Stars Dies. How great do they co-ordinate together!!

The soft Suede ink works well with the Copper Foil that I diecut the larger star with. The ornate smaller star is diecut in Cherry Cobbler.

The sentiment is diecut with one of the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. The paper is part of the Classic Christmas Designer Series Paper pack.

The Curvy Christmas set and the Classic Christmas paper is only available until the 4th January.

There are a number of different options to join – and now I have added the Joy To The World Kit as an Add-on. Check all the details below and be sure to register very soon.

At present this is for Australian residents only. Tutorial only options may be added to later classes.

SWEET SUNDAY STAMPING – ARRANGE A WREATH!

Sunday is usually Sunday Suites. I am mixing it up today for Sweet Sunday Stamping. Same thing. Just a bit different. I’m going to do that occasionally.

For Sweet Sunday Stamping we are going to look at a Stamp/Die or Stamp/Punch Bundle or even a single stamp set for your sweet projects.

Today let’s take a look at the Arrange A Wreath Bundle. This stamp and die set is versatile for many occasions.

The Arrange A Wreath Bundle includes the Arrange a Wreath stamp set and the Wreath Builder Dies.

Great for many occasions – Thanksgiving (if you celebrate that) but a sweet one for Thanks cards even. What about an elegant wedding card?? Valentine’s? A Christmas wreath perhaps? Make an Easter wreath. Oh so many occasions!

The Arrange a Wreath stamp set includes not just the wreath but little stamp images like the flowers, eggs and fruit.

The Wreath Builder Dies contains dies to cut the stamped images as well as 2 styles of wreath that you can create 2 different styles of wreaths. The wreath is 3 1/2″ or 8.9cm.

MERRY AND BRIGHT CURVY CHRISTMAS + A VIDEO!

I am loving the gorgeous new Quite Curvy Bundle of products we have available this week. I have been creating lots. Today I wanted to share not one but 2 projects with them.

The layouts are the same but one is a Christmas card and then I created another as a Birthday card just changing it a little. Today’s video will show you how to create them with a few tips on how to use these new products.

On these cards I have used the new Classic Christmas paper in the Crumb Cake prints. There are some great prints in this pack in Crumb Cake, Shaded Spruce and Cherry Cobbler. I have neglected the Scalloped Lace Trim but it is so soft and adds that elegant touch to your cards.

The Crumb Cake card was embossed with the Subtles Embossing Folder to add a little extra texture. The bow and the bird were coloured with Stampin’ Blends.

GORGEOUS POSIES IN DAFFODIL DELIGHT!

I don’t create a lot of cards in yellow. Really hardly at all. I don’t know why I created this one in yellow. I wanted something different. Perhaps I was feeling a little blah! I don’t know BUT I thought I would share it with you anyway. It’s yellow, it’s bright and it’s fresh.

I have used the Gorgeous Posies stamp set. I have seen lots of lovely pinks and purples. Why not yellow right???

The white card mat was embossed with the slim leafy print of the Greenery Embossing Folder pack just on the left hand side of the card.

Then some of the Daffodil Delight Ruched Ribbon was wrapped around it before adhering it to the Daffodil Delight card mat and then the Thick White card base. Tie the bow separately and add that to the front of the card with Glue Dots. I find doing it this way a little easier to get the ribbon sitting better than tying the bow directly on the card.

I think the leaves were stamped in Granny Apple Green with Shaded Spruce “veins”. The centres of the Daffodil Delight flowers was stamped with Blackberry Bliss.

So there is your fresh yellow card. I hope it brightens your day anyway,

SUNDAY SUITES – MAGIC IN THIS NIGHT SUITE!

We don’t really celebrate Halloween in Australia. There is more and more decorating and Trick or Treating over the last few years though. I don’t usually make Halloween cards. I thought it would be still good to check out the Magic In This Night Suite for Sunday Suites because there are some hidden gems that are great for other occasions.

Let’s look at the Hallows Night Magic Bundle.

Now this might be a Halloween set but check the dies. There are a number of them that can be used for any occasion like the frames and the pretty border. There is even a flower die and leaf.

You could make this table setting for any occasion.

Below we have the Magic in this Night Designer Series Paper. I love that some of these prints can be used for any occasion. The black/grey and white would make striking projects.

The colours in the papers are: Basic Black, Blackberry Bliss, Cajun Craze, Pretty Peacock, Whisper White.

Another fun product in this suite is the Metallic Mesh Ribbon. This ribbon is very light and adds that elegant touch to your projects. Why not wrap it around your gift boxes like in the projects below.
