STAMP A STACK OF CHRISTMAS CARDS!

It’s time to start those Christmas cards. Why not Stamp A Stack of them??

In the Christmas Stamp A Stack we will create 6 cards (3 each of 2 designs). Cost $25.

TIS THE SEASON DOVE!

I’ve told you how much I love the Dove of Hope Bundle right … 🙂 It’s a gorgeous set.

I have shared a few cards already. This one uses the Tis The Season Designer Series Paper.

It’s simple in design but the dove is heat embossed in Gold and diecut. Great to have the matching Detailed Dove Dies. The gorgeous Real Red Sheer Ribbon is beautiful and soft and so easy to tie bows. The ribbon was wrapped around the card mat and paper piece before adhering it to the Garden Green card base.

CHRISTMAS IN JULY BLOG HOP!

Today I am hopping along for Christmas in July with a great group of crafters. There is some amazing talent in this group and I am honoured to be joining in.

For the Blog Hop we are featuring products from the new Holiday Catalogue beginning on August 4th. I am excited to start creating with these products. I know we may not feel too much like Christmas yet but once you start creating with these fantastic products you will quickly get in the mood.

For the Blog Hop today I am using the Dove Of Hope Bundle which has the gorgeous stamp set and dies. I made 2 projects to share with you today.

The first card is a more simple design. The dove is diecut with Whisper White card and it really shows off the crispness of the dove as well as the little embossed details. Don’t you love the detail in the wings??

To complete the card I used a piece of the ‘Tis the Season Designer Series Paper adhered on to a Real Red card mat. The leaves were stamped over the Garden Green card base in Garden Green ink. For the sentiment it was stamped in black on to white card and then punched with the Timeless Label Punch.

The next card is a stepped up version.

The red card mat was diecut with one of the Ornate Layers Dies with piece of the ‘Tis the Season Designer Series Paper added.

On this dove I diecut it with some of the Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper. This paper is gorgeous and has flocked designs on vellum There are 3 different designs in the pack. I went for this “flourish” style. I wasn’t sure how it would work. I did find that some of the flocked pattern was flattened but you still get the pattern on the dove.

The sentiment this time was heat embossed in gold on to white card and punched with the Timeless Label Punch. To add a little extra shine I cut a small strip of Gold Foil and flagged the end to go under the sentiment.

I don’t think we feel a lot like Christmas at the moment. It’s been a crazy year. BUT it’s time to get the Christmas creating happening. The 2020 Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalogue starts on August 4th. Very soon!

As Demonstrators we can start ordering products now. I tell you it’s a hard decision. My first preorder arrived yesterday. Yes I said my first. I’m sure there is some more to come. I thought I would video it as I unpack it all so we can enjoy it together. What do you reckon?? 🙂

Lots of dies and Embossing Folders but what about the discounted kits?? They would be great to grab them now to create while you are sitting at home.

CHRISTMAS CARD LOVE!

We received lots of lovely cards this Christmas. It was always nice opening the envelopes. There were store bought cards and handmade cards. All so nice that we were thought of. Since it’s all about hand-made here I thought I would show you the beautiful hand-made cards we received. Maybe they will inspire you.

CHRISTMASTIME IS HERE SWAPS!

Christmas is fast approaching. I have just time to show you these 2 cards I received for swaps recently. These are using the Christmastime is Here suite.

This first card was created by Peta one of my team members. I received this as a swap for Onstage in early November but hadn’t shared it with you yet. The copper makes it very classy. She used the Stitched Rectangles Dies to create the card mats for the gorgeous array of flowers.

This next one is just a mini card. It is about 7.5cm x 5cm (3″ x 2″) – roughly anyway. The flowers are cut from the gorgeous Christmastime is Here specialty Designer Series Paper. This one was a swap from my upline Vanessa. She added a little stamping too.

This Christmastime is Here Suite of products are still available in my store -> HERE. Just because Christmas is over don’t think you can’t use them. They are beautiful, elegant products for a birthday or wedding.

TEAM CHRISTMAS SWAPS!

It was the last team meeting for the year on Wednesday. I wanted to share the swaps I received. I have to say I didn’t get to make any swaps for this time but people were very generous in giving me one.

Firstly, this tag set is from Bonnie. She made a cute little holder for the 6 tags. There were lots of different stamp sets used to create these tags.

Christmas treats and a tag. I liked the way Barbara made the tag using the Christmas Gleaming stamp set. They are all lovely. I am sorry I don’t have any directions for the little chocolate box. The window is cut using the Stitched Rectangles dies though. It is really sweet.
