SUITE SUNDAY – FLOWERING ZINNIAS SUITE!

Today for Sunday Suites let’s look at the gorgeous Flowering Zinnia Suite. I have mentioned it briefly but we just have to look at it closely because there is so much to love.

This suite with it’s bold colours and flowers is a bit reminiscent of the groovy 70’s. The Flowering Zinnias Suite Collection includes:

  • The Simply Zinnia Bundle (stamps and dies)
  • The Zinnia 3D Embossing Folder
  • The Flowering Zinnias 12″x12″ Designer Series Paper
  • Adhesive- Backed Shiny Sequins (200 sequins in Lemon Lime Twist, Lemon Lolly, Melon Mambo and Pumpkin Pie.
Flowering Suite Collection

The Simply Zinnia Bundle. At present the stamp set is unavailable but it will be back soon.

The Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper. The colours found in this paper are Berry Burst, Blackberry Bliss, Flirty Flamingo, Highland Heather, Lemon Lime Twist, Lemon Lolly, Melon Mambo, Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, Petal Pink, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red.

The Zinnia 3D Embossing Folder is a large on at 15.2cm x 15.9cm or 6″ x 6-1/4″. It has beautiful images of Zinnia flowers which would create great backgrounds or try some different techniques.

Here are some pretty samples.

The Adhesive Backed Shiny Sequins – They are shiny and sparkly.

There are 200 adhesive-backed pieces in 4 mm and 5 mm sizes. The colours are Lemon Lime Twist, Lemon Lolly, Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie.

Let’s have a closer look at them. I wasn’t sure about this leafy paper. It has quite bold, heavy leaves. It can create a great background though.

You can see the backround created with the embossing folder. The flower is created with the dies. You can use them alone or diecutting the images.

Some simple prettinest with the stamped and diecut Zinnias and coloured lightly.

SUNDAY SUITES WITH A LITTLE LATTE!

Sunday Suites today is a new one. A Little Latte just released this week. Let’s check it out. (Also, check the Suite Share below too to get a little taster with it).

Now just a disclaimer in advance: I don’t drink coffee or like coffee BUT I do have lots of friends who like coffee and I like to meet up with them for “coffee” dates. I usually go the Hot Chocolate. But it’s nice to chat and have a hot drink with them. I thought that this suite would be good for those coffee loving friends and making coffee dates.

SUNDAY SUITES – PERENNIAL LAVENDER SUITE!

Back with Sunday Suites today and one of my favourites – the Perennial Lavender Suite.

This is a large suite so let’s have a close look at it.

SUNDAY SUITES – GARDEN WALK SUITE!

It’s Sunday Suites time. Today let’s check out the Garden Walk Suite a little more.

The Garden Walk Suite has stamps and paper to make floral paper crafts with a modern spin. Although I think it’s a little more rustic/vintage.

The images in this suite represent flowers from all seasons, so you can create your own season-specific floral cards or projects. So it’s great for Birthdays and Christmas and Just Because cards.

Let’s have a look closer at all that is included.

The Garden Walk Suite includes:

The Modern Garden Bundle can be ordered as a Bundle or individually. But you can save 10% by buying it as a bundle. The stamps can be used for all occasions and make up different flower combinations. The Modern Oval Punch can be used for many different elements not just for sentiments on your projects. The Punch is 6×4.1cm, 2-3/8″ x 1-5/8″

The Garden Walk Designer Series Paper comes in 48 sheets – 6 each of 8 designs.

It contains flower patterns ranging in size from small to large. Use it as a background or try fussy cutting some of the larger flowers to use as accent pieces. Even stamp directly on the paper prints with some of the flower images. The colours in the paper are –  Calypso Coral, Garden Green, Mossy Meadow, Poppy Parade, Pretty Peacock, Wild Wheat.

You want to see how it’s used though don’t you. These samples were created by Stampin’ Up! artists.

Use the punch as an element on your cards.

Use strips of the pretty Paper.

A gift bag box but check the tag?? It’s a little shaker tag with the Loose Daisy Embellishments inside.

Fussy cut some of the flowers from the paper out. But check the background too. White card was embossed with the leaves Embossing Folder and then circles diecut with the Deckled Circles Dies. Pretty cool effect!

Stamp directly on the paper.

SUNDAY SUITES – ALL ABOUT AUTUMN SUITE!

Sunday Suites – All About Autumn Suite.

It’s not the right season for us right now in the South Pacific. Here we are in Spring. And we don’t make cards for Autumn when it is here anyway. But I noticed there were some hidden gems in the All About Autumn Suite that we can certainly use so it was worth checking it out.

Such as –

  • The Stamped leaves or diecuts can create great Masculine projects or even for Sympathy cards as well.
  • The papers have photographic prints on one side with texture prints on the other side great for Masculine cards too.
  • And the embellishments and the Embossing Folder are certainly great for any occasion cards.

They all can be suitable for our Papercrafting here in the South Pacific.

The Autumn Leaves Bundle

Check out the background effect in the card further below. It adds such a cool addition to your projects with the “dotted” background.

The All About Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper

It consists of 48 sheets of patterned paper: 4 each of 12 double-sided designs
6″ x 6″ (15.2 x 15.2 cm). The prints are really great just to use on there own. The reverse side provides the look of texture to your projects.

The colours include: Cajun Craze, Copper Clay, copper foil, Early Espresso, Moody Mauve, Mossy Meadow, Pretty Peacock, Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla.

The Oxidised Copper Specialty Paper.

This pack consists of 4 sheets of Specialty Paper. 2 each of 2 designs in 12″x12″ (30.5cm x 30.5cm).

One page features distressed copper imaging while the other is inspired by oxidized copper. The colours used in this paper are Copper and Pretty Peacock.

Use the paper to create textured coppery leaves or use them as a backing for a thoughtful sentiment. You can use this paper not only for Autumn projects but for any other cards to add that extra lushness.

We can’t go past the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder. Add that extra texture to any project to give a distressed vintage or chic look.

Now for some cards.

See the embossing on the front of these leaves with the Embossing Folder.

Some of the beautiful paper is used as a card base.

This card shows the “dotty” background.

Pumpkins and Autumn leaves on this card but this really shows the paper. There is the added leaves with the Oxidised Paper too.

A little texture from the paper and the shine from the Oxidized paper.

Another card shows off the texture from the Embossing Folder and the shine from the Oxidized Paper. Also another crisp photo image from the paper.

So there is much to admire in this suite and even useful for those Papercrafters in the South Pacific.

With lots of celebrations this suite provides lots of festive designs and images to create with. The colours in the papers are bright and patterned too for fun projects.

SUNDAY SUITES – ZOO CREW!

Sunday Suites today well… is a bit zany with the Zoo Crew Suite.

With a dancing cheetah, a bicycling alligator, Knitting Llama, a singing tortoise and more. How fun – and cool! I think this would appeal to most people for all different occasions. It would certainly bring a smile to their face.

I particularly wanted to show you this card below. I thought it was a great idea. The paper used is one of the black and white patterns and sponged with the Pool Party ink. A piece is adhered to the card front at an angle.

On another note, I like how the images are on a Pool Party card mat the same as the base card but it still is highlight. I must try these ideas.

One more fun sample. I love how the images are on different size Vellum pieces. Another idea to try.

Our Sunday Suites today is the Les Shoppes Suite. It’s a cute suite. It reminds me a little of paper doll houses when I was growing up. Does it remind you of that?

With this suite you can create unique cards and pages with vintage shops and main streets. There are shop front and vintage awning designs to use the paper directly on your projects or with the stamp set you can use an array of colouring technique options. Such fun!
