Have to share with you 2 of the projects we made at our Easter Class last week. Add a little bunny from the Wildly Happy stamp set and it works out just cute for Easter.
We made another gift box too which I might show at another time.
The bunnies were coloured with the Stampin’ Blends. The paper is from the Sale-A-Bration Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper Pack. The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Greetings set.
This long Gift box you can make for yourself. I found it HERE on Sarah’s Blog.
I love the Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper but I will say some of the prints are quite “strong” can I say. What do you do when you have such a strong paper? You can use small strips which is what I do often or with this print with the Dandelions I used it as a background.
This was one of the cards we made in a recent Dragonfly class.
The white card was cut with one of the Stitched Rectangles Dies and the daisies stamped on the card. You can add a touch of colour on them too if you like. Some did in the class.
The dragonfly was stamped on white card and the “solid” stamp was stamped in Calypso Coral to add some colour. Before you add this piece and the Designer Series Paper piece to the white card base tie some Mossy Meadow trim around the paper.
If you are in the Wollongong area come and join in my classes. They are on each fortnight. But I always have the option by mail too. So no matter where you are in Australia you can take part.
It’s come to that time when we start saying Good-Bye to our favourites. The Retiring List is now out. It’s your Last Chance to get them.
I have all the details below. I know I’m sad to be saying Good-Bye to some. But it makes space for other great products to come.
**Firstly, when you check the list don’t be alarmed at the size of it. Some items are being reconfigured such as the stamp set cases. New sets will now come with a printed image on the outside as well as the inside back cover and the stamp sets won’t have images on the clear sheets the stamps are stuck to.Â
**Â Some bundles as in stamps/dies or stamps/punches are listed as retiring but only as a bundle. They may still be available individually in the next catalogue but buying them now as a bundle saves 10%.
See them all in my Store to see all the items shown -> HERE.
These items are all WHILE SUPPLIES LAST. So be quick! Some have sold out already.
Here are just some of my favourites.
Under My Umbrella $28
Umbrella Punch (reduced to $12.40 from $31)
Greenery Designer Series Paper (all the papers are retiring. Some are reduced!)
Classic Label Punch (This punch is so useful to punch out your sentiments).
To a Wild Rose. (I love this set!) Look at this reduced to $18 from $45
Wild Rose Dies (Reduced to $35.40 from $59) They co-ordinate with the To a Wild Rose stamp set
Stamparatus Bag (This is crazily reduced to $12.50 from $50!)Â It’s a handy bag for many craft supplies).
Don’t forget with orders this month you can choose a stamp set or pack of paper from my stash with your orders over $90. Only while stock is available.
You have over $170 on your list??
You know the best value is to join the family. You will get $235 for your $169. Stay as long as you like. Email me for more info. at jghayward@yahoo.com or Phone me on 0439 844574.
Another card with the Dragonfly Garden Bundle. I made this a little while ago so thought it was time to share it with you. This time though I stamped the daisies on the card and added some little butterflies buzzing around.
I just added a mini dragonfly on it for some interest. How cool that you can punch 2 different sizes of dragonflies.
I added a strip of the Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper along with some Misty Moonlight Baker’s Twine. The sentiment was punched with the Banners Pick A Punch.
It’s great with this stamp set with the variety of stamps to create some different looks with it.

The other day I decided to play just because. No creating for classes, blog posts, Youtube, Challenge cards, Thank You cards. I just decided to pull out a set to create. I very rarely do that. (Maybe I should do it more too).
It was grey and rainy here and has been for some time. By looking at the weather it’s going to be raining for some time still. That doesn’t matter when you can just pull out card and ink and play.
I grabbed the Under My Umbrella stamp set. Maybe because it was raining. Here is the card. I was surprised it didn’t take long to put together.
The images were coloured with the Stampin’ Blends.
You can find the Under My Umbrella stamp set in my store -> HERE. Don’t forget the Umbrella Punch too. That makes cutting the umbrellas out so easy. You do need to fussy cut the boots.

Have a happy day. If it’s raining where you are keep safe and dry.
Today’s project and video is a little different. I have a cute Mini Treat Bag for you. It’s using the gorgeous Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper. I also have a couple of other versions in this design.
You can check the video below and I have the measurements further down so you can refer back to it.
Here is the Mini Treat Bag.
Notice the bottom edge? I diecut the “hatch” type die on it. Whether you stamp or diecut on this you will need to do this before you assemble the bag.
I added a detailed Diecut butterfly from the Brilliant Wings Dies set cut in Mint Macaron. I diecut a stitched circle with the Stitched Shapes Die between the butterfly and bag to help separate the 2 so the butterfly doesn’t get lost on the bag.
Here is the video. If you receive this post by email the video may not show so be sure to head to my blog to catch the video or heat to Youtube.
I made 2 other versions too. A sweet one with the Dandy Garden Suite. It’s a great way to use the dandelion paper. Also one with the Whale of A Time Designer Series Paper.

Last week on my Private Facebook group I shared a sketch and encouraged others to use the sketch to create a card. Of course, I had to create a card also. I love using sketches. They are a great spring-board to your creating.
This is the sketch. This is from the Freshly Made Sketches.
This is the card I created. I have used the gorgeous Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper. Of course you have seen it by now right. 🙂 So lovely.
For the shape on the sketch you can use any shape but I chose the butterfly as I have been creating with the Butterfly Brilliance products this past 2 weeks.
The sentiment is from the Many Messages set. Inside you can add another sentiment whether it is a Birthday or Thinking of You or whatever occasion. I punched the ends with the Banners Pick A Punch.
Maybe you can use this sketch in your next project. If you like, share it with me on my email at jghayward@yahoo.com I would love to see. It’s always fun to see other people’s interpretation.
