Fun Fold Cards – Page 2 – A Stamping Journey

With just a simple scoring on the front of the card and folding it back you create a Z-Fold Card. Then instead of adding your card mat and paper to the front of a card you can adhere it just to the left hand side panel.

The gorgeous paper is the Season of Green and Gold Specialty Paper. I have used so much of this beautiful paper already. Maybe even on to my second pack … The Paper is available as an Online Exclusives online and can sometimes be missed. You can check my store.

The stamps are the Golden Greenery stamps and dies also available online. I love how these ones work and I think you could use these leaf images for any occasion card. That would work. The sentiments are from the Greetings of the Season Bundle.

OFF-SET GATEFOLD CARD FOR WEEK 5 – 12 WEEKS OF CHRISTMAS!

Week 5 of our 12 Weeks of Christmas series. This week it is an Off-Set Gatefold card. It’s just a little different to the regular Gatefold Cards.

For this card I have used the Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper. It’s so easy to cut one of the sweet birds from the paper to add to the front of your card. One of the Dies from the Winterly Tree Tops Dies is meant to diecut one of the birds but you can fussy-cut them out too.

Create this how you like to and it can be great for any occasion. Once you have the scoring worked out it’s very easy to create. You can follow along in the video.

The pretty diecut circle was cut with the Spotlight on Nature Dies. I do love this die set with the pretty edges. There are 3 different die edges in the set. See them more -> HERE.

BOOK BINDING FOLD CARD WITH ADVENTUROUS JOURNEY STAMP SET!

I have been playing a lot with the Adventurous Journey stamp set lately. It’s such a great one for the boys cards. It was fun to use this in class last week too.

I wanted to try something a little different. I have noticed Book Binding Fold cards around and thought that would work well.

Here is the card.

The outside.

The kayaker was coloured with the Stampin’ Blends. For the sentiment I stamped the words on the Balmy Blue card and Crushed Curry Card. Then diecut them with the long sentiment die in the Sending Dies. It was easy to just trim them down.

I find that a lot easier than trying to squeeze a sentiment on a thin strip of card.

The paper is from the Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper pack which is a Host Reward in the Mini Catalogue. It’s great paper by the way. It has such a range of colours and prints. Why not take a closer look at it.

WAVES OF THE OCEAN CLASS BY MAIL!

Create with the gorgeous Waves of the Ocean products in the comfort of your own home in your own time. (Australian residents only).

Create 3 cards including one Fun Fold card.

Choose your option:

Use your own inks. Colours used are Coastal Cabana, Night of Navy and Pacific Point (Light Green, Navy and Bright Blue) as well as Black Memento Ink.

OPTION 1) Receive card kits for the 3 projects including diecut pieces. Project Tutorials. (Use your own stamps and ink).
Also receive ½ Pack of the Waves of the Ocean Designer Series Paper and 1 Pack of Waves Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

COST: $25 plus additional Postage to send out of $3.30. (Pickup is available).

OPTION 2) Receive card kits for 3 projects and the Project Tutorials. Diecut your own pieces from the materials. Use your own stamps and ink.

21ST BIRTHDAY CONCERTINA WITH YOU’RE A PEACH PAPER!

I just wanted to share a special card with you today. Yesterday my gorgeous baby girl was 21. I can’t believe where that time has gone. We are a little peach crazy in our house with perfumes and creams and all kind of Peach Scented products. So of course it had to be the You’re A Peach Designer Series Paper.

I wanted to make the card a little different and found a sweet concertina style card. It’s just a little bigger version than a regular zig-zag type fold.

Here is the card from a few different views.

The ’21’ was diecut from the Be Dazzling Specialty Paper from Sale-A-Bration using the Large Numbers Dies (now retired but really I can’t get rid of those). The peaches were diecut from the paper.

I found how to make this style of card from Suzie’s blog -> HERE. The measurements are in imperial. I used those measurements as I was short for time so I haven’t got them in metric as yet. I will make another card later to share those.

I made another mini version of a concertina card as well that I will share in the next post. It is so sweet so you will want to see that.

Have you seen the Slimline cards around? I have been wanting to give it a go. I created a sweet slimline card with the Celebrate Sunflowers bundle.

Card Base: 21cm x 18cm scored at 9cm (8 1/2″ x 7″. Scored at 3 3/4″)

Card Mat: 20.4cm x 8.4cm (8 1/4″ x 3 1/4″)

White card: 20cm x 8cm (8″ x 3″)
