NOVEMBER ONSTAGE REVIEW!

Well I can’t believe that it is 2 weeks since Onstage.  Seriously is someone taking time off our days??? 🙂

Since I have come back it’s been a whirlwind so while I catch my breathe very briefly I thought I would share a few highlights from Onstage.

Onstage was an incredible time in more ways than one.  It is a fun-filled, jam-packed event of inspiration and sharing and friendships.  I attended the Sydney event.  I have to tell you though a couple of months ago I received a call from Clare from Stampin’ Up! asking me to do a presentation.  Eek! After the initial “I can’t do this” and freaking out right there and then, Clare was so wonderful and coached me and encouraged me and cheered for me all the way.  It was an incredible experience.

Firstly though, How about this gorgeous backpack.  Poppies are in and they are beautiful.  This backpack has so many pockets.  I think it will be well used.  I have my lanyard too.  I am so thankful to have achieved so well this year.  Thank you to my team and my customers.  The number ‘3’ is the prize patrol badge.

Centrestage event is on the Friday night for those Silver Elite level and above.  It’s a pretty chilled night with some fancy food.  Nice to be spoilt.

Below is the header for the screen before I did my presentation.  I hadn’t even noticed it.  I have to say things were a bit of a blur then.  I was honoured to present the new Dressed to Impress Suite that is coming in the new 2020 Mini Catalogue.

I am thankful to Stampin’ Up! for the opportunity to present at Onstage.  It was an unforgettable experience.

Part of my presentation was talking about my ‘WHY”  Why I do what I do. I love creating and sharing my projects with others (like you).  I love seeing the joy on people’s faces when they make a card and when they receive a card,  I hope to inspire others and hopefully bring a little joy in people’s lives.

Thanks for your support for visiting me, for sharing with me and for your encouragement.  It all means so much.  I hope you can bring Joy to the lives of others too.

WEDNESDAY’S WOW! #89 – TAGS, TAGS, TAGS!

Wednesday’s WOW! #89.  I have a cool new bundle to share with you today that I just discovered about.  It’s the Tags, Tags, Tags Bundle in the Holiday Catalogue.  Really I am a little slow sometimes.  Perhaps you haven’t noticed it yourself so I thought I would tell you about it.

The Tags, Tags, Tags Bundle is on p56.  There are 9 images in the stamp set on 3 stamps.  They are connected together. The 3 tags are cut at one time with the Trio die.  How cool is that! A bit of a time-saver.

Each tag die is a different shape.  And you could use these tags dies for any of your other sentiments that fit in the shape.  I love the shapes of them and one is stitched!

I really overlooked these dies. Did you?

Here is a closer look at how they cut.  These are using the Valentine’s stamps in the set but you get the idea.

While we don’t celebrate Halloween here or even Valentine’s Day all that much, the Christmas stamps are really sweet, but really those dies!!

What about some ideas from the catalogue of how to use these little tags.

ELEGANT CHRISTMASTIME IS HERE!

You have read about the Christmastime Is Here Suite.  I have posted about it a little.  It’s a limited edition suite available now until the supplies are out.

I received the gorgeous Christmastime is Here Specialty Designer Series Paper recently and just had to try it out.

With this gorgeous paper you don’t need to do too much.

One side of each print has beautiful Gold embossed lines. I cut around one of the larger images on one of the designs of paper.  Layering this on another of the gorgeous prints and layering that on some Mossy Green card.

The sentiment was heat embossed in Gold and diecut with a rectangle from the Rectangles Stitched Dies.  I showed a post or 2 back how you could layer this sentiment on to one of the diecut frames in the Ornate Frames Dies.  I just love that effect.

WEDNESDAY’S WOW! #88 – CHRISTMAS COUNTDOWN PROJECT KIT!

It’s Wednesday.  Time for another Wednesday’s WOW!  Since Christmas it fast approaching I thought we would look at a fun Christmas project – the Christmas Countdown Project Kit. Although the elements in this kit are for Christmas it’s a great project that you can use for other countdowns or even storing some little items.  What about embellishments in your craft room?

The kit contains the box elements and all the supplies to create 25 boxes.

You can see this kit in action in this video.

So what could you use this for yourself other than Christmas?  Maybe a Birthday Countdown,  Countdown to a special holiday,  Perhaps a rewards box with treats in it for your young children in the family or at school for a teacher.  Or some people have used this in the craft room for storage of those small embellishments or punch-outs.  And you can dress it up any way you like.  Don’t be limited to the supplies in the kit.

SUNDAY SUITES – MONSTER BASH!

Sunday Suites.  Today we are looking at the Monster Bash Suite.  It’s coming up to that time so thought I would share it.  We are not big on the whole Halloween thing here but maybe you are and you want to see some inspiration.

WEDNESDAY’S WOW! #84 – NEW PAPER TRIMMER REVIEW!

Back with another Wednesday’s WOW!  I have just received the new Stampin’ Up! Paper Trimmer and wanted to share it all with you.  So today’s WOW! is a review video of the new Paper Trimmer. You can check it out below.

Just a few of the highlights of the Paper Trimmer that I see –

  • Clearly marked measurements in both Metric and Imperial on the Trimmer base not only along the top but in the middle as well as along the bottom. This will enable you to line your  card up better to see that it is straight.
  • Measurements clearly seen in the “gap” where the arm moves out from the side. Previously they were not shown so it was a little guesswork of the measurements.  For me this is a BIG PLUS!
  • A wider cutting base to cut cardstock.
  • Blades are larger which I think will enable better cutting – and hopefully longer lasting blade wear.
  • The ability to cut tiny strips of card without any problem.

The Paper Trimmer is now available for Demonstrators.  You can include that in your Starter Kit when you join Stampin’ Up! this month.  It will be available Very Soon for customers.

I will be posting here further updates but if you would like to be notified personally then drop me a comment or email and I will advise you when it is released.

In Australia it will be available for purchase for $44 AUD.  Replacement Blades will be available to order also for $21 AUD for a pack of 4.
