Another BeachyLittleChristmas card for you. This was one of the earlier cards I made with this set.
I have watercoloured the images with the pencils.
I will be honest, while I am happy with the colouring, it is just missing something. There is no pizzazz! No WOW! I think the sentiment is lost. While I did layer the sentiment on Silver Glimmer Paper, it is still not happening. Maybe I need to redo it? Maybe even a little sponging around the edges? What are your thoughts?
A friend of mine turned 50 this week and we went to her birthday celebrations last night. Of course I wanted to make a card but sometimes it can be a bit overwhelming with what stamps to use or what colours. In our team group this week we have had a challenge to use a stamp set we haven’t used before. I could choose from a few different ones here. I have a number still uninked!! I went with the Blooms and Wishes set and used the Eclipse technique.
The colours used are Sweet Sugarplum, Fresh Fig, Flirty Flamingo, Pear Pizzazz and Lemon Lime Twist. I picked those colours from a Colour combination off Pinterest. I added a little bling with the Rhinestones.

I know SO MANY people who have been waiting for Stampin’ Up! to bring out a Stamp Positioner. I can say the day has finally arrived! Over the last 18 months I have been working on a team with Stampin’ Up! to help develop this tool and I can say that this great piece of equipment will help you in your stamping. Whether you need to overstamp an image as it hasn’t come out well, or you have multiple of the same image to stamp, or just to line up 2 or 3 step stamped images easily. The day has finally arrived. The Stampin’ Blends are here now for you to order. I think you will love them. They are so easy to use and to blend. You will feel like an artist!!
Just a few features of them:
There are 12 colours of Markers available.
In each colour there are 2 colour shades – a Dark and a Light colour. They are available as single pens or as a Combo pack with the 2 colour shades.
Colours available are Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, Night of Navy, Old Olive, Pink Pirouette, Pool Party, Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry, Smoky Slate.

Back to some projects with the beautiful Designer Series Paper that Stampin’ Up carry. I wanted to share this fun Card In A Box style card using the cute Birthday Memories paper. This was created by my lovely friend Leonie N and she allowed me to share it with you.
Isn’t this just so cute??? 🙂 There is no stamping involved. All these cute images are cut from the paper. (No colouring too!). I love this paper as you get one side with really cute images and then the other side is some fun patterns. It really is a great pack.
