A friend of mine turned 50 this week and we went to her birthday celebrations last night. Of course I wanted to make a card but sometimes it can be a bit overwhelming with what stamps to use or what colours. In our team group this week we have had a challenge to use a stamp set we haven’t used before. I could choose from a few different ones here. I have a number still uninked!! I went with the Blooms and Wishes set and used the Eclipse technique.
The colours used are Sweet Sugarplum, Fresh Fig, Flirty Flamingo, Pear Pizzazz and Lemon Lime Twist. I picked those colours from a Colour combination off Pinterest. I added a little bling with the Rhinestones.
Hope your weekend is going great. Today I have been at a Christmas market all day so it was a busy one but always great talking to people about stamping right. 🙂
PLEASE NOTE: The reservation window has now closed for this round. Be ready early on December 6th (Sydney AUST) time to submit your reservation then.
I know SO MANY people who have been waiting for Stampin’ Up! to bring out a Stamp Positioner. I can say the day has finally arrived! Over the last 18 months I have been working on a team with Stampin’ Up! to help develop this tool and I can say that this great piece of equipment will help you in your stamping. Whether you need to overstamp an image as it hasn’t come out well, or you have multiple of the same image to stamp, or just to line up 2 or 3 step stamped images easily. This Stamparatus is what you will need.
The Stamparatus will be available early next year but to help keep up with supplies Stampin’ Up! are offering a reservation order. So you reserve it now and pay for it when they arrive in Australia. There are 3 reservation periods. The first Reservation period begins TODAY in which delivery will be early February. Then there will be one in December and another in January with later delivery dates. These will then be available in the new Annual Catalogue in June 2018.
But I know since you have been waiting for this you will want to reserve your own NOW right?? This is how you can reserve one Today.
Reservation for the Stamparatus begins TODAY through my store ->HERE.There is only a limited number each round so you need to be quick! You will need to add your credit card details but payment won’t be made until the Stamparatus arrives. Then this will be processed as normal through my store. Cost will be $85. (maybe you will have some Christmas money to spend???).
Now go right now to reserve it as I have already heard the numbers are low.

I am joining in with the Stampin’ Dreams Blog Hoptoday. You would have come from Jenny Hall’s blog (HERE)coming all the way from the US. Or you have just started here. Thanks for stopping by either way.
The theme this month is Something Different. A fold, a technique, something we have been wanting to try but haven’t as yet. Really! That’s an open minefield. I like doing different card folds so thought I would try a different.
This Fun Fold really is simple but I think it is fun. This is a Step card and I haven’t done a Single Step card before. For this I used the Night In Bethlehem Bundle.
I love how you have the stamps and the matching dies in the bundle making it so easy to create your images. No scissors required Thank you very much. 🙂 I lightly sponged around the edges of the white card to soften the edges.
The sentiment on the bottom panel has been heat embossed in Gold. For the ground under the figures I used a stamp from the Timeless Textures set. I like the effect that created. Edited to add: The base card and the stamping is Cherry Cobbler. It is a bit hard to tell in the photo. 🙂
As you are all busy hopping today I don’t want to take up much of your time. Stop by tomorrow and I will have a tutorial for you to create your own step card.
For now you need to continue on with the Hop. You can head off now to Sue’s blog HERE. She creates amazing projects so be sure to stop by.
See you tomorrow for the Step Card Tutorial.
(Edited to Add: The tutorial is now available at the next post. You can find that HERE.)
#4 WATCH IT WEDNESDAYis all about tying those bows. If you come to my classes you can hear the groans every time I say we have a bow! 🙂 🙂
If you are groaning at the mere mention of tying bows yourself then never fear. I have put together a short video to show you how I tie my bows. I hope it is helpful.
NB: I am just starting out on this video venture so be patient with me. I do appreciate your feedback though (good or bad) and hope that I can share more videos with you with a little more practice. 🙂
TYING BOWS THE EASY WAY!
Did you find that helpful?? Yes / No / Maybe / Perhaps stop this video gig before you get started??? 😉
