We have so many lovely papers for Sale-A-Bration this round. The Beautifully Penned Designer Series Paper is just one. I thought we should take a look at this one today.

This paper has 12 sheets of patterned paper: 4 each of 3 double-sided designs in 12″ x 12″ size. It comes in varying black and white patterns. You will notice that many of the patterns are similar to the Hand-Penned DSP in the Annual Catalogue.

You can choose to colour the papers or leave them as they are. I have been using them a lot recently. Some I have coloured and some I have left as they are. I have too many cards to just share in one post so I think this will be a Beautifully Penned Week! Watch out for this in the coming week.

Just to get your started I will share a few projects.

These cute pillow boxes (made by Stampin’ Up! artists) are created with the Pretty Pillow Box Dies.

For this card (also created by Stampin’ Up! artists) several patterns of the paper was used. The paper was diecut with the floral background and the white card piece was matted on the stripy pattern. Some little flowers were fussy cut out and added.

Here is a card I created recently with the papers. Don’t wasted even the little strips. They will all co-ordinate together on one card.

I love black with POPS of pink. This is Polished Pink. You could use any colour though to make it POP. What colour would you use??

The stamp set is from the Color and Contour stamp set.

POCKET CONCERTINA BOOKLET WITH YOU’RE A PEACH PAPER!

Yesterday I shared the Concertina Card that I made for my daughter’s 21st. Today I wanted to share with you this special little booklet I made. Of course using the You’re A Peach Designer Series Paper.

It was just a little booklet with some inspirational sentiments for her.

It’s small in size and tied up with some Pale Papaya ribbon. The peach is cut from the You’re A Peach paper.

When you open it there is a little concertina piece. I have held it down here in the photo with the Bone Folder so I could take the photo.

Folding out the strip of card there is a special sentiment on each section. I used a number of different stamp sets for the sentiments and for the images.

This was really fun to create (and made from the heart to my gorgeous girl).

I will share the dimensions for it another time. I only have them in metric at the moment.

21ST BIRTHDAY CONCERTINA WITH YOU’RE A PEACH PAPER!

I just wanted to share a special card with you today. Yesterday my gorgeous baby girl was 21. I can’t believe where that time has gone. We are a little peach crazy in our house with perfumes and creams and all kind of Peach Scented products. So of course it had to be the You’re A Peach Designer Series Paper.

I wanted to make the card a little different and found a sweet concertina style card. It’s just a little bigger version than a regular zig-zag type fold.

Here is the card from a few different views.

The ’21’ was diecut from the Be Dazzling Specialty Paper from Sale-A-Bration using the Large Numbers Dies (now retired but really I can’t get rid of those). The peaches were diecut from the paper.

I found how to make this style of card from Suzie’s blog -> HERE. The measurements are in imperial. I used those measurements as I was short for time so I haven’t got them in metric as yet. I will make another card later to share those.

I made another mini version of a concertina card as well that I will share in the next post. It is so sweet so you will want to see that.

WEDNESDAY’S WOW! #126 – 4 CARDS FROM ONE SHEET!

Wednesday’s WOW! #126 – Create 4 cards from one sheet of white card.

This is a fun twist on the one sheet wonder style of cards. And it is SO EASY! This is great if you need some cards in a hurry.

For this version I haven’t stamped over the entire sheet of card. To make it easier first make a mark in pencil on the halfway point on each side. That can help you visually where to stamp.

I have used the Sale-A-Bration set Delicate Dahlias for this one and used the new 2021-2023 Incolors – Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya, Polished Pink, Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen.

Start roughly in the centre of the card and stamp outwards from there. Using the different images and different colours. Don’t completely stamp the full card.

Then cut the card in quarters.

You will need to trim down the stamped card pieces for the front of the card. Trim off 4mm or 1/8″ on the width and the length. If you want to add another card mat under the stamped piece you will need to trim an additional 4mm or 1/8″. I just kept these cards simple.

The sentiment is diecut with the Tasteful Labels Dies. A silver banner is diecut from the Be Dazzling Specialty Paper also available as a Sale-A-Bration choice. I added bling of course with the In Color Jewels.

MANY LAYERED “DOTTY” BLOSSOMS CARD!

A quick card for you although a little “dotty”. 🙂

I wanted to see the look of the lovely Beautifully Penned DSP when you diecut it. I tried the spotted one with the Many Layered Blossoms Die.

I have used Highland Heather card. To add some texture emboss the card mat with the Bark 3D Embossing Folder. Adding a sentiment on black just makes it “POP”. The sentiment is from the Art Gallery Stamp set heat embossed in white and diecut with the Floral Gallery Dies.

SHOW BOTH SIDES OF PRETTY PAPERS WITH COLLAR CARDS!

It’s a dilemma isn’t it?? The gorgeous Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper has such lovely prints on both sides so what side do you choose?? This card I have for you today shows off both sides! It is so easy too.

This card fold is known as a Collar card. There are other names for it too.

Here is the card I created. I have used the You’re A Peach Designer Series Paper. Isn’t it sweet??

I have a simple card for you today. I have used the beautiful Delicate Dahlias stamp set.

I have simply stamped the lined images on white card and layered it with the gingham print from the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper.

The Delicate Dahlias stamp set is a Distinktive style set. This set has the lined images and more solid images that you can use to colour. Or you can colour with Stampin’ Blends or Pencils.
