STAMPIN’ UP! TRANSLUCENT FLORALS!

I have a new favourite. Yes indeed!

If you have followed me along for a while you may know that I am not big on colouring. I find it hard and I know I need to work on it BUT when there is a stamp set that I don’t have to colour I’m all over it. 🙂

I love the new Translucent Florals Bundle that is in the upcoming Mini Catalogue starting on September 6th.

With the stamps you get colour gradients just by stamping. No need for colouring. And there are some really lovely, versatile sentiments in the set.

I have been playing with it a bit these past few days and I will show you more but for today this is one of the cards I have created with it.

There is the stamp set and the co-ordinating dies for it.

TWO VERSIONS OF CIRCLE CARDS + A VIDEO!

I like to make different fold cards. And it could just be a simple shape.

I have been creating circle cards this week so I thought I would put a video together to show you how. Also to give you some tips in creating them.

Here are the Circle Cards.

The Fresh Freesia version using the Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper.

The Petal Pink version using the Translucent Florals.

Both are created differently. Be sure to watch to find out how to make them.

COLOUR INKSPIRATIONS CHALLENGE #150 WITH INKED AND TILED STAMP SET!

The Colour Inkspirations have their 150th Colour Challenge this week. I had to have a go. I first started these challenges way back near the beginning so wanted to join in with this milestone.

The Colour Challenge#150 this week was Pumpkin Pie, Calypso Coral, Sweet Sorbet, Old Olive and Pretty Peacock.

I have to say these colours were hard to use all together.

Here is the card I created. I have used the Inked and Tiled Stamp Set.

The paper is the Inked Botanicals Designer Series Paper stack. I have used 2 different patterns creating a block pattern.

The flowers were inked with Brushes and Daubers to add the different colours. The White Baker’s Twine was coloured with the Dark Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends.

It is nothing fancy but I liked the effect.

SENDING CARD LOVE!

I have received so many lovely cards in the mail recently. RAK’s or Random Acts of Kindness cards. I have received them for so many different reasons.

It does warm your heart. (And I did miss out some too in this photo – Oops! Sorry).

Thank You for the love.

Isn’t it nice we can send love in a card.

Why not send a little card love yourself to someone this week. I can tell you it will bring a smile to their face. After all that’s what we do this for isn’t it. And it’s so much nicer than a bill in the mail.

STAMPIN’ UP! TRUCKING ALONG WITH A TRAILER.

Not just a truck (pickup/ute) but you can make a trailer as well. It makes a fun addition using the Trucking Along Bundle.

To do this – Stamp 2 trucks, punch them out. With one snip the back off and cut a little “tab” near the front end of the rear of the truck. If that makes sense. I will do a little video of it shortly and post it to Facebook and Instagram for you to see so be sure you follow along there.

You can build a scene with the other stamps in the set.

The sentiment from Sending Smiles is quite apt for this card I think. It is diecut with the co-ordinating die from the Sending Dies.

This is the fun Trucking Along Stamp set and the Punch. You can use this for many different occasions.

This was one of the cards we created in our class today. So fun!

WEDNESDAY’S WOW! #151 – FLAGGING YOUR RIBBON!

Wednesday’s WOW! #151 – Flagging your Ribbon ends.

Do you like to flag the ends of your ribbon? Flagging is cutting the ends to a ‘V’ Point. Don’t try and cut the points individually. They never turn out even…

Here is a tip for you to “flag” those ends. Fold the sides of one of the ends of the ribbon together in half and make one snip to a point. The longer part – the point is towards the end of the ribbon. It makes them cut so much easier.

EVERLASTING BEAUTY WITH AN EASY BACKGROUND!

This is an easy card when you don’t want to fuss with colouring or creating backgrounds. I shared how to on my Instagram Reel last week if you caught it there.

You can use your Patterned paper. This one uses the Hello Irresistible Paper. It is a really cool effect. The flower from Everlasting Beauty is stamped in black. It comes together quickly.

The white card is embossed with the Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder. The sentiment is from the Sending Smiles Stamp set and cut with the co-ordinating dies. I have used a little Bubble Bath Sheer Ribbon under.

Why not try that idea yourself. Grab some patterned paper and create.

CELEBRATING 15 YEARS WITH STAMPIN’ UP!

Catalogues, Christmas, Stampin' Up!

FIRST PLAY WITH TRUCKING ALONG!

I have just got the Trucking Along and played with it over the weekend. I’m really not ready for Christmas creating but thought I would make these ones Christmas ones.

Here is one of the cards I created. I will share the other one another time.

The red strip is embossed with the Dots from the Basics Embossing Folder. The paper strip is using the Joy of Christmas paper found in the upcoming Mini Catalogue. Oh! and those beautiful Adhesive Backed Star Trinkets. They are so lovely.
