IT’S A WRAP WEEKEND – GIFT PACKAGING IDEAS!

Over the weekend on my Facebook and Instagram page I held a “It’s A Wrap” Weekend. I shared a number of ideas to quick, cute gift packaging. I’m sure many of us are still scrambling for last minute Christmas gifts and packaging them. I thought I would share them here in one post.

Before the weekend of sharing started I shared this cute tag and gift bag. If you are in a hurry just grab a white handled bag and add a cute tag. I used the Peace and Joy Bundle for this one.

Have some gift boxes around. Wrap around some pretty Christmas paper and add a cute tag and ribbon. These ones used the Gold Pizza Boxes and the Kraft Shipping boxes.

I shared this gift box last year. It used the Christmastime is Here Designer Series Paper. It is a tall gift box so you can fill lots of little treats or a small gift inside. It is so easy to make too. Just a tip: Be generous with the ribbon. It makes it look really lush.

I have the tutorial for this box -> HERE.

Like the gift boxes you can fill a little tin or a glass jar. Tie around some ribbon and small embellishment. The great thing with this one is that they can use the tin or jar later.

Lots of gift ideas I hope will help you. I have more to ideas later too.

It’s a bit late now to order the tins or boxes for Christmas but you can order them and stash them away for next year. The tins are greatly reduced too.

It’s crazy times. Hope you are doing ok.

Still time to get some extra bling for later too.

DOVE OF HOPE TRIANGLE EASEL CARD!

Today’s project I recently shared with my newsletter subscribers. I send out a tutorial for them each Tuesday. (If you don’t receive my newsletters yet – why not?? – Just click on the link in the right hand side bar to add yourself to the email list).

I wanted to share this project as my little Christmas gift to you. HAPPY CHRISTMAS. I have a video to help you create it. It’s now on Youtube too. (Be sure to subscribe to my Youtube channel too so you can get notified of videos I post).

This card is a Triangle Easel card. I have made a number of them over the years. They are really easy to make. I am using the Dove of Hope stamps and Dies. I am so sad these are leaving us.

I will add the measurements below too so you can follow along later.

ONSTAGE @ HOME TEAM DAY!

Last weekend was the Stampin’ Up! Onstage event @ Home. It was sad not to meet together but a few from my team got together which was a lot of fun.

It was lovely of Sarah to open her home up to us and we could watch the big TV screen together with all the sessions and chat about them. There is always lots of ‘oohs’ and ‘aahs’. 🙂

We had a card display and I made up some gifts for my team.

Here are the little gifts. I included a Stampin’ Up! file folder with some Stampin’ Up! hand-outs, a clipboard (great for all those sessions notes), and I made up a little pack with a highlighter, sticky notes and a Stampin’ Up! magnet. These were all gifted in past Stampin’ Up! convention bags.

These were little table gifts for the tables. I made them up using some retired pillow boxes and decorated them with the new Dandy Garden suite. These are some gorgeous new products coming in the 2021 Occasions Catalogue starting in January. I thought this sentiment was good as we start out on a new Stampin’ Up! year.

Of course one needs to be hydrated at these events so I made up some bottle tags using the cute Zany Zebras.

Just some of the name tags. Sarah created these which were great!

And then you must have Prize Patrol right. We had drawings over the 2 days for some fun prizes. And that was in addition to the Stampin’ Up! giveaways over the weekend.

Some card displays with the Curvy Celebrations and the Curvy Christmas stamp set, the Dove of Hope and a few other stamp sets.

The Dandy Garden Suite. I will share closer views of the cards over the next couple of weeks and months. I think you will love this suite.

The Poinsettia Petals card samples created by Sarah.

Getting some creating going on with the Dandy Garden project. I will share those with you very soon.

Some of my JEN’s INK Team. (A socially distanced photo. 🙂 )

Recognition was announced. I was so pleased to achieve Sales and Team Building Recognition for this past year. Thank you to you all for your support and encouragement and Thank You to my wonderful team.

Thank you to you all for your support and encouragement whether you order from me or cheer for me from near and far. I appreciate you. Thanks for visiting my blog. And of course Thank You to my wonderful team.

If you would love to be a part of these fun get togethers then I would love to welcome you to my JEN’s INK team. I go on about the discount a lot but really being with Stampin’ Up! means a lot more. It’s connecting with so many “crazy” people like you who get excited about stamps and ink. You can find out more on my page HERE of 9 Reasons why you need to join the Stampin’ Up! Family.

Keep creating,

Jenny

SUNDAY SUITES – MAGIC IN THIS NIGHT SUITE!

We don’t really celebrate Halloween in Australia. There is more and more decorating and Trick or Treating over the last few years though. I don’t usually make Halloween cards. I thought it would be still good to check out the Magic In This Night Suite for Sunday Suites because there are some hidden gems that are great for other occasions.

Firstly, this is the full Magic in this Night Suite Collection. ($155 AUD)

This Collection includes:

Hallows Night Magic Cling Stamp Set
Halloween Magic Dies (10% off)
Cobwebs 3D Embossing Folder
1-1/2″ (3.8 cm) Metallic Mesh Ribbon
Magic in this Night Designer Series Paper
Iridescent Pearls
Black Glitter Paper

See some of the gorgeous (or creepy) projects you can make with them.

Let’s look at the Hallows Night Magic Bundle.

Now this might be a Halloween set but check the dies. There are a number of them that can be used for any occasion like the frames and the pretty border. There is even a flower die and leaf.

You could make this table setting for any occasion.

Below we have the Magic in this Night Designer Series Paper. I love that some of these prints can be used for any occasion. The black/grey and white would make striking projects.

The colours in the papers are: Basic Black, Blackberry Bliss, Cajun Craze, Pretty Peacock, Whisper White.

Another fun product in this suite is the Metallic Mesh Ribbon. This ribbon is very light and adds that elegant touch to your projects. Why not wrap it around your gift boxes like in the projects below.

There are a couple of other products in this suite not to overlook.

The Black Glimmer Paper is so sparkly. I have seen some striking projects made with this for other occasions even Christmas. Sparkly black diecut Christmas trees look amazing!

Don’t miss the Iridiscent Pearls either. These would add some sparkle even in black.

What could you use for your next non-Halloween project??

Check out all the Magic In This Night Suite -> HERE.

UNDER MY UMBRELLA MINI CARD BOX

Yesterday I shared the swaps I received at our Team Recognition Day. Today I wanted to share with you our project we made.

It is a very cute mini card box made with the Gold Pizza Boxes and 3 little cards and envelopes. It was designed by our team leader Vanessa. I just have to show you.

This shows the mini cards inside the Gold Pizza Boxes. I love seeing them peek through the window.

To cut the window in the Pizza Boxes, use one of the circle dies in the Layering Circles Dies set. From the piece of Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper cut the scallop circle then use the same size circle as used on the box to cut the centre out of the scallop circle to layer over the window. Place a piece of acetate inside the box window.

Here are the mini notecards. They had a piece of the Designer Series Paper (DSP) on the card front. The cute umbrellas from the Under the Umbrella stamp set were stamped on the pieces of DSP and punched out. The boots were hand-cut. A strip of the DSP lined the back of the envelopes. I realised now too that I forgot to trim the paper on the envelopes to curve them. I will fix that up but keep that in mind when creating them.

Isn’t this just a cute set. It makes a lovely gift.

Any of these products are available in my store to create them or if you need any other products.

TEAM DAY SWAPS!

Last week we had a Team Recognition Day for the Inky Fingers Team I am in. It was a lovely day of creating together especially as we hadn’t been able to meet together for so long. We chatted and created and were recognised for our achievements this year.

This was all the lovelies in our team who attended the day.

Clare our DDM (Demonstrator Manager for Australia) was there. It is always so lovely to see her bubbly self. 🙂 This is also with Sarah one of my team members who came along too. It was so great to share that with her.

Vanessa our team leader gave some of us a little gift. There were particular requirements to attend the day and those who achieved the requirements TWICE received this gift box with some special ribbon and embellishments. I was so honoured to receive one.

The boxes are the Mini Paper Pumpkin boxes. Isn’t it gorgeous!

Below are the swaps I received. I didn’t make any swaps. We only found out the day before and I really didn’t have time to get anything together but people were so lovely to share some of their swaps with me.

This is a little bar of soap in the little cellophane bags. It is a lovely idea instead of chocolate.

This one is created with the Dove of Hope stamp set with the World Map Dies. I love how these co-ordinate together.

This is a little treat bag. Another lovely gift. It’s a great size for a mini chocolate.

This card below was created by my friend Leonie. It’s the cutest mini Pop-Up card using the Warm and Toasty stamp set. The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Christmas.

The little tree inside is from the Most Wonderful Time stamp set.

Stop by tomorrow and I will share the cutest little gift box and mini cards we made as our projects.

Have a great day,

Jenny

This suite is a great one to capture those travel memories with the “world” images within it.   Not only in the papers but also the World of Good Memories and More cards.  The sentiments in the Beautiful World stamp set are great for those pages too.

Below is the Beautiful World Bundle.  With the world globe dies you can layer them up or diecut the stamped globe.

MOUNTAIN AIR – CARD IN A BOX!

I had been playing with the Mountain Air Bundle recently. Before I move on to sharing projects with new products I thought I would share this card with you.  It’s a Card In A Box.  I love making these and I hadn’t made one in a while.

This bundle works so well with these style boxes.  You have lots of different images and can build up your scene.

To create the Card In A Box I have teamed it with the Country Club Designer Series Paper (retiring).

The sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set (carrying over).

The template for making the Card In A Box can be found on Di’s blog -> HERE.

I’m glad to see that this will be carrying over in to the new catalogue.  It gives me some more time to play with it later.

You can grab it now in store though -> HERE.

I have started playing with new products so I’m excited to be sharing some new projects with you starting next week.  EEK! New Catalogue!!!! 🙂

Have a great weekend,

Jenny

MOTHER’S GIFT BAG AND CARD!

With Mother’s Day this weekend I have a Gift Bag and Card set to share with you.

This gift bag and card is created with the Best Dressed Suite.

Best Dressed Gift Bag and Card

With all the cool images on this piece of Best Dressed Designer Series Paper I didn’t need to do a lot of stamping.

I did stamp the perfume bottle from the Dressed To Impress stamp  set and coloured it to match the paper.  The bottle was stamped with the “splodge” stamp in Daffodil Delight.  Then the top was coloured with the Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends.

To finish the card I added some loops off the Mint Macaron Sheer Ribbon behind the Purple Posy diecut circle. I used both of the sentiment shapes and layered them together.

For the bag diecut the bag twice in the Mint Macaron card and then diecut two from the paper.  Then trim off the sides of the paper diecut piece and adhere them on to the bag.

For the tag I cut the perfume bottle off the paper to match it all.

A sweet little gift set for any special person.

This Dressed To Impress Bundle of the stamps and dies will be carried over in to the new catalogue but buying it now as a bundle will save 10%.  The paper won’t be carried over so if you want it grab it now.

See it in my store now -> HERE.

Thanks for stopping by,

Jenny
