SUNDAY SUITES – GILDED AUTUMN SUITE!

I want to tell you about this gorgeous suite today for Sunday Suites.  This is the Gilded Autumn Suite.  You will see why it is called this suite and I’m not necessarily talking about Autumn leaves.

The Gilded Autumn Suite is shiny and coppery and brass all in together. From the paper which has gold and copper foiling on some of the prints – and the prints are gorgeous in itself with the nature-inspired images. Then there is the Acorn Trinkets, which are small metal embellishments brushed with an antique copper finish.  And then also is the Basket Weave and Metallic Ribbon Combo. The copper ribbon in this combo pack is shiny and metallic grosgrain ribbon. See, so all very much shiny.

The Gilded Autumn Suite is $168 AUD.   It includes:

* Beautiful Autumn Stamp Set
* Autumn Punch Pack
* Basket Weave & Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack
* Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper
* Acorn Trinkets
* Brushed Metallic 12″ x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm) Cardstock

Colours found in the papers are Cajun Craze, copper foil, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, gold foil, Mint Macaron, Very Vanilla.

Let’s look at them all more closely.

The  Beautiful Autumn Bundle consists of the stamp set and the Autumn Punch set.  The punches are 2 small leaf punches and an acorn punch. AND, if you didn’t know the punches can punch some of the images in the paper.  See Stampin’ Up! go that extra mile for co-ordination.

See how the punches punch out.

How gorgeous is the paper?? It really doesn’t show the shine though in the photos sadly.

Now the Brushed Metallics Cardstock comes in 12″ x 12″ size.  There are 6 single-sided sheets: 2 each of the 3 colours: Bronze, Copper and Gold.

Here you can see the Acorn Trinkets. You get 20  in a pack and they are 1.3cm long (1/2″).

This is the Basket Weave and Copper Ribbon Combo.

Now you have seen all you can get in the Gilded Autumn Suite.  Let’s have some samples. These are created by Stampin’  Up Artists.

WEDNESDAY’S WOW! #108 – WHAT’S THIS STAMPIN’ SEAL???

Wednesday’s WOW! #108 All about the Stampin’ Seal.

You might have seen the new roller tape adhesive in the Annual Catalogue?? It’s the Stampin’ Seal and the Stampin’ Seal +.

What is it and what’s the difference between the two. I thought this might be a good thing to look in to today for our Wednesday’s WOW! Session.

Below is the Stampin’ Seal.  This one is in the light blue cartridge.

The Stampin’ Seal will give an instant-bond and is a permanent adhesive when using it on your card or ribbon.  It is acid free. The roll contains 15m or 16.4 yards.

Below is the Stampin’ Seal+.  This has a dark blue cartridge.

Similar to the Stampin’ Seal, the Stampin’ Seal+ is an instant-bond, permanent adhesive.  However, It is much stronger than the Seal so it is suitable for your 3D projects and cards with heavier layers. The Stampin’ Seal+ is also acid free. It comes in the same length roll of 15 m or 16.4 yards.

Both Stampin’ Seal and Stampin’ Seal+ are acid free.

Both of these comes with a replacement refill.  Which saves money later when you need a replacement.  The refill is very easy to replace by pulling the cartridge apart and inserting the refill section.  It works just like the old style SNAIL.

TIP: Some people have had issues with the adhesive not rolling.  I have to say I haven’t had any issues.  If you are finding this happens rather than lifting the roller straight up off the card, give the roller a little twist.  See how that works for you.

Want to see the Stampin’ Seal and Stampin’ Seal+?? Check this Youtube video out.

The Stampin’ Seal and the Stampin’ Seal+ as well as the refills are available in my store now.  I will be happy to help you with your order if you are in Australia.

PLAYFUL PETS Z FOLD 50TH CARD!

I created this card for my sister’s 50th Birthday this weekend.  It would be an understatement to say she loves cats!! I knew this paper would be fitting for her.

This is a Z Fold card.  I will tell you about how you can make the card further below.  Let’s look at it though.

I have used the Playful Pets Designer Series Paper.  I didn’t have the Pampered Sets stamp set but that’s ok.  The sentiment is from the Seaside Notions stamp set.  The heart is from the Whale Done stamp set.  I cut the cats for the front of the card from a piece of the Designer Series Paper and raised them up off the card with Dimensionals.

This view below shows the card almost folded.

I have made these Z Fold cards before.  They are fun to make.

You can find the original post for these type of cards which has the instructions -> HERE.

On that link you will find the metric measurements.  There is a link there to go to the Imperial measurements.

I made a smaller version of the Z Fold cards too way back then.  You can see that post -> HERE if you want a narrower version.

You can find all the cute Playful Pets Suite products including the paper in my store now -> HERE.  Check it out.

In Australia? I would love you to shop there with me.

TIS THE SEASON DOVE!

I’ve told you how much I love the Dove of Hope Bundle right … 🙂  It’s a gorgeous set.

I have shared a few cards already.  This one uses the Tis The Season Designer Series Paper.

It’s simple in design but the dove is heat embossed in Gold and diecut.  Great to have the matching Detailed Dove Dies.  The gorgeous Real Red Sheer Ribbon is beautiful and soft and so easy to tie bows.  The ribbon was wrapped around the card mat and paper piece before adhering it to the Garden Green card base.

Here is the beautiful Dove of Hope stamp set.  What do you think?? Are you liking it??

In Australia?  It is now available in my store -> HERE.

CHRISTMAS IN JULY BLOG HOP!

Today I am hopping along for Christmas in July with a great group of crafters.  There is some amazing talent in this group and I am honoured to be joining in.

For the Blog Hop we are featuring products from the new Holiday Catalogue beginning on August 4th.  I am excited to start creating with these products.  I know we may not feel too much like Christmas yet but once you start creating with these fantastic products you will quickly get in the mood.

For the Blog Hop today I am using the Dove Of Hope Bundle which has the gorgeous stamp set and dies.  I made 2 projects to share with you today.

The first card is a more simple design.  The dove is diecut with Whisper White card and it really shows off the crispness of the dove as well as the little embossed details.  Don’t you love the detail in the wings??

To complete the card I used a piece of the ‘Tis the Season Designer Series Paper adhered on to a Real Red card mat.  The leaves were stamped over the Garden Green card base in Garden Green ink.  For the sentiment it was stamped in black on to white card and then punched with the Timeless Label Punch.

The next card is a stepped up version.

The red card mat was diecut with one of the Ornate Layers Dies with piece of the ‘Tis the Season Designer Series Paper added.

On this dove I diecut it with some of the Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper.  This paper is gorgeous and has flocked designs on vellum There are 3 different designs in the pack.  I went for this “flourish” style.  I wasn’t sure how it would work.  I did find that some of the flocked pattern was flattened but you still get the pattern on the dove.

The sentiment this time was heat embossed in gold on to white card and punched with the Timeless Label Punch.  To add a little extra shine I cut a small strip of Gold Foil and flagged the end to go under the sentiment.

Now you are off to continue your Hop.  I hope the links work for you. 🙂

CONTINUE THE HOP NOW.  Click on the “Click here” below.

WHALE DONE – BIG DEAL!

I have been playing with the Whale Done Bundle this past week getting ready for my Whale Done class.  This Whale Done is such a cute set.

While I can’t share you the cards we are doing for class.  You have to join in to see those ones I have a couple of other cards I am going to share with you.

Today’s card is very simple in design.  It uses the beautiful Whale of A Time Paper.  I wasn’t sure what to do with this particular print.  It is such a large design.  But really what more do you need.  I trimmed the piece down carefully to fit the card front so as not to lose much of the print.  It was then adhered to a Pretty Peacock Card base.

The sentiment was stamped in Memento Black and diecut with the Stitched Shapes Dies.

If you notice the turtle it has 2 colours on it.  To get this effect, I stamped the turtle first in Granny Apple Green and then sponged lightly around the edge of the turtle with Pretty Peacock ink.  It gives a cool effect. Then fussy cut with scissors.  Sorry no dies for this one. 🙂

The Whale Done Class is available Online or Face-to-Face.

Head back one or 2 posts to get all the details.

Have a great weekend.  Hope you get some creating in.

WEDNESDAY’S WOW! #107 – CREATING WATER SCENES WITH MOUNTAIN AIR!

Wednesday’s WOW! #107.  I wanted to share a little tip I discovered – although maybe you had already discovered it – or maybe not!  Today’s tip – how to create easy water scenes with the Mountain Air stamp set.

The Mountain Air stamp set is a great one to create mountainous scenes.  I found when you turn the treeline stamp upside down it looks like water. You can stamp that under the mountains with the trees off the edge of the card so you won’t even see the trees.  I thought it was clever anyway. And it extends the scenes that you can create.

Below is a Card in a Box I shared recently.  You can see the water edge under the mountains at the back.

Below is a card I created some time ago  For some reason I stamped it in green on this card when I look at it … It could be a grassy field too right. 🙂

Hope you find it helpful when you use your set.

Haven’t got the Mountain Air Bundle yet? In Australia, you can order it through my store now -> HERE. It’s really not that expensive at $88 AUD.

Please use the Host Code: 3MDURVQZ

Don’t forget Bonus Days are on Orders over $90 receive a $9 voucher to redeem in August so throw in some Dimensionals with that to get your code.

If you need help with your order then contact me directly on 0439 844574 and I can place it for you.

Thanks for visiting me today.  Have a great day,

Jenny
