LOVE AND JOY WITH NESTS OF WINTER PAPER!

This is a simple card with the Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper.

The paper has such pretty bird images. This one you don’t need too much with. I added the Love and Joy from the Greetings of the Season Stamps and diecut it with the Nested Essentials Die. I added a smaller one diecut with Red Glimmer Paper. It just adds a little sparkle to the simpleness.

This is one of the cards we made at our recent Nests of Winter Class. I usually start off with a simple card and then move on to more detailed ones. Such fun! If you are local in Wollongong come along. Or you can have the Card Kits mailed out to you if you are in Australia.

GIFT CARD HOLDER WITH AN ENVELOPE FOR WEEK 6 – 12 WEEKS OF CHRISTMAS!

It’s Week 6 of our 12 Weeks of Christmas Series. Can you believe we are half-way through already!

This week’s project is a Gift Card Holder. It is so easy to create. It’s made with a standard White Envelope, some festive paper and matching ribbon.

You can see how to make one in the video below. Gift Cards are a popular gift for Christmas so I hope you get to make one for yourself.

This is the Gift Card I created in the video. I will share some other versions in a later post.

I decorated this one with the Reindeer Days Designer Series Paper. The words on the front are from the Trucking Along Stamp Set. The inside is one from the Greetings of the Season Stamp Set.

OFF-SET GATEFOLD CARD FOR WEEK 5 – 12 WEEKS OF CHRISTMAS!

Week 5 of our 12 Weeks of Christmas series. This week it is an Off-Set Gatefold card. It’s just a little different to the regular Gatefold Cards.

For this card I have used the Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper. It’s so easy to cut one of the sweet birds from the paper to add to the front of your card. One of the Dies from the Winterly Tree Tops Dies is meant to diecut one of the birds but you can fussy-cut them out too.

Create this how you like to and it can be great for any occasion. Once you have the scoring worked out it’s very easy to create. You can follow along in the video.

The pretty diecut circle was cut with the Spotlight on Nature Dies. I do love this die set with the pretty edges. There are 3 different die edges in the set. See them more -> HERE.

CUTE DEER WITH THE REINDEER FUN FOR WEEK 3 OF 12 WEEKS OF CHRISTMAS

It’s Week 3 for our 12 Weeks of Christmas series.

This card is using the Reindeer Fun Stamps and Dies which are just the cutest. The card shows a great way of using different papers together too. I used the Reindeer Days Designer Series Paper.

In the video I showed a template for variations in colour with the deer head. I have that below so you can refer back to it later.

They can look so different using different colours. Don’t forget the Red Glimmer for a Rudolph nose.

CHRISTMAS IS BETTER TOGETHER WITH STAMPIN’ UP! REINDEER DAYS!

I have been playing with the Reindeer Days Designer Series Paper recently. And of course the Reindeer Fun Stamps and Dies.

We have a class on this Friday with it so it’s been lots of fun. This is one of the cards we will be making in class.

In the die set it’s not just dies for cute reindeers it has dies to make the holly leaves and it also has gifts dies too. It is very versatile.

The little deer image I have used on this card doesn’t have a die. I have cut this with scissors.

12 WEEKS OF CHRISTMAS – WEEK 1

We are on the countdown. It’s 12 Weeks of Christmas projects coming up.

I’m going to share some quick, fun projects with a video to help inspire you with your Christmas creating. Let’s kick off.

Week 1 with the Nests of Winter paper.

It is such gorgeous paper. You don’t need a lot more. Add some texture with the Dots from the Basics 3D Embossing Folders and some of the gorgeous Cherry Cobbler and Gold Ribbon. It’s very lush.

The Seasons Greetings is from the Greetings of the Seasons Stamps and Dies.

SUNNY SURFING SANTA FOR CHRISTMAS!

Playing a little more with the Surfing Santa Stamp set.

For us in the Southern Hemisphere this really appeals to us with our Sunny, warm Christmas.

Sunny and Bright for Christmas with the Surfing Santa Stamp Set from Stampin' Up!

A little closer view. I stamped the gifts on the card in red for a subtle background.

The Santa was fun to colour and coloured with the Stampin’ Blends. The paper strip was from Reindeer Days and added a little sparkle with the Festive Glimmer Paper.

NESTS OF WINTER CLASS – IN PERSON OR BY MAIL!!

The class is available In Person in my studio OR if By Mail.

You will create 5 cards with this Paper including one Fun Fold.

All materials will be included in the Card Kits. You will need your own sentiments (Christmas and Birthday or what you would like to use). Also Black Ink. Green and Red inks are used on some sentiments but that is a personal choice. Also included is some simple instructions to follow along.
