REINDEER CLASS FOR THE KIDS!!

CALLING ALL LOCAL KIDS – Join us for some Reindeer craft.
(Suitable for kids aged 6-12years).

If you are local to Wollongong then bring your kids along for some fun Reindeer craft.

DELICATE ORNAMENTS ON BERRIES AND BOUGHS!

I was playing around with some left-over Stamp A Stack kits the other week. I just made a quick card up with one of the kits left. I thought you might like to see it.

The card base and the large ornament is in Bermuda Bay. I embossed the white card with the ‘Boughs and Berries’ Embossing Folder. On this card I added another ornament from the ‘Delicate Ornaments’ Thinlets cut from the Silver Foil Sheets to give a little sparkle. The greeting is from the ‘Wonderland’ stamp set. A little Silver Ribbon finishes it off.

FUN FOLD CLASS – IS FUN!!!

You just need to let me know by Thursday so I can have all the card cut. They might look a bit tricky but they are really not hard to do. I think you will like them.

SPRINKLES OF LIFE CONVENTION CASE!

These 3 cards I have made using ‘Sprinkles of Life’ set have been CASED from an onstage presentation at the South Pacific Stampin’ Up! Convention back in early May. It seems so long ago now. I loved the idea of them so I have wanted to make them for a while. Here they are and then I will tell you about them.

Each of them have the same layout and they show a number of ways you can put the different elements together. On my cards I have used the Woodgrain Embossing Folder and instead of a strip of Designer Series Paper or similar on the original I tied around some Whisper White Baker’s Twine. What do you think?? Cute??

MAKING CARDS FOR RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES!!

SILLY SOCKS FOR SICK KIDS

You might have heard by now that Stampin’ Up! supports Ronald McDonald House Charities. Let’s join together with me to raise money for this great organisation. Ronald McDonald House provides accommodation and support for families with young children undergoing treatment in hospital.

We can help them out in a fun afternoon of games, laughs and creating while we raise money for them – and wearing your silly socks!

WHEN: Saturday August 1^st at 2pm at my place, East Corrimal

We will make 3 great projects using the RMHC stamp set by Stampin’ Up! “Sprinkles of Life”.

COST: Class only $20 (I will donate $3 to RMHC)

Buy the stamp set and matching punch $64

(which includes $3 donated to RMHC by Stampin’ Up!, 10% off the stamp and punch price and a Free class).

RSVP: 25^th July. Book ASAP as places are limited. If ordering the stamp and punch payment must be made when replying (You can still order on the day though).

WHAT TO BRING: Scissors and adhesives.

: Small change to join in some fun games while we fundraise.

: Wear Silly Socks for some fun Plus a gold coin donation. (Socks can be mismatched, funky, lots of pairs at once, on your hands. There will some prizes!)

: Don’t forget your smile and a sense of fun!

OPTIONAL: Bring along some blank cards to send to RMHC for them to use for the families there. These could be Kid’s Birthdays, Thinking of You, Sympathy, Get Well.

A SHELTERING TREE SESSION!

One day last week I pulled out my ‘Sheltering Tree’ stamp set. I cut up some Whisper White card front pieces to size and stamped away. It was such fun. I haven’t had a stamping session like that for a long time and with the way my cardmaking endeavours were going for days before that I was pleased how they worked out.

It was fun to put together all the little images in the set. There were so many different combinations. I could have stamped for hours but there was some thing called dinner and housework that stopped me! Who do they have eat!!

I then assembled them all into cards the other day. Here is the finished result. I made a few of each so I had some cards on hand although I will say that a number of them have already been sent on their way to some special people.

I will show you them individually.

Card bases were Tangerine Tango or Melon Mambo with a Basic Black or Pear Pizzazz card mat. Greetings were from ‘Remembering Your Birthday’ or ‘Tin of Cards’ if the greeting wasn’t from the ‘Sheltering Tree’ set.
