STAMPIN’ UP! FLIGHT AND AIRY PAPER CARD!

Create a card – with your paper. After all it’s such pretty paper.

For this I have used the Flight and Airy Paper.

I fussy cut one of the birds from the paper pack to add to the front with a sentiment layered on vellum and some ribbon.

This is the inside.

Cut a strip of your lovely paper twice the size as you would cut a card mat for the card. So just slightly smaller than your card base. Score a line down the middle and adhere the back to the card mat.

I have added a card mat as a base to make it sturdier but you could use it just with the paper as a card. 

Don’t forget to decorate the inside too.

This is such pretty paper. Really it is a must have!

SALE-A-BRATION SUNDAY WITH FAVORED FLOWERS PAPER!

Such gorgeous paper to share with you for Sale-A-Bration Sunday.

The Favored Flowers Designer Series Paper. Have you seen it yet??

One side has bold floral prints and the other side has simple patterns. The colours are very strong and rich. I will say initially I thought it was too heavy. But you don’t need to use it all on your project.

What I love about this paper too is that the dies from the Fragrant Flowers Bundle match some of the dies on the paper. So no fussy cutting around. The flowers from the stamp set co-ordinates so well the paper too.

BEAUTIFULLY HAPPY WITH TWO TONE FLORA DIES!

Another card with the Beautifully Happy Stamp Set.

Have I told you how much I love this set?? I love the sentiments and I love that it is a 2-step set which is great. What I don’t love is that it is only available for less than 2 weeks with Sale-A-Bration coming to an end. 😦

As a 2-step stamp set you can stamp the outline in the Memento Black and then use the “fill-in” images to stamp inside the outline. Of course you can colour it with the Stampin’ Blends or Pencils if you like to.

On this card when I stamped the Balmy Blue little ball flowers I didn’t like how it also coloured the leaf tips on some of the upper flowers so I coloured over them with the old Olive Marker and coloured the stem too. I coloured the centre of the flower with the Daffodil Delight Marker.

The sentiment is diecut with one from the Beautiful Shapes Dies. The background was diecut with the beautiful detailed background die from the Two Tone Flora Dies. They give such a soft, delicate touch.

I have shared the Adorable Owls before but have to share this card too. I’m really loving these cute owls. I’m not normally in to owls but these are just so happy. You can’t help but smile.

This one was coloured with the Watercolor Pencils and just a light wash over it. I teamed it with the Dandy Designs Paper also from Sale-A-Bration. Who said blue and green can’t be seen together?? 😉

AROUND THE BEND WITH DAINTY FLOWERS + VIDEO!

I have had more fun playing with the Around the Bend Bundle. I’m loving these stamps and dies.

Today’s project comes with a video with 9+ Tips in using this bundle when putting together this card.

The paper is the gorgeous Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper available for Sale-A-Bration. I love the pretty prints in this paper and I think it works so well.

HOOT, HOOT – ADORABLE OWL CARD!

I don’t do a lot of colouring but I have been having a little fun with the Adorable Owls Stamp Set recently. They are cute!

This card I showed on my Facebook Live last week. You might have caught it but I thought I would share it with you now.

I have coloured the owl with the Watercolor Pencils and given it a light wash with the Water Painter. Just be sure to use Stazon ink to stamp the image in if you are using Water so the black ink doesn’t run.
