Wednesday’s WOW! #151 – Flagging your Ribbon ends.
Do you like to flag the ends of your ribbon? Flagging is cutting the ends to a ‘V’ Point. Don’t try and cut the points individually. They never turn out even…
Here is a tip for you to “flag” those ends. Fold the sides of one of the ends of the ribbon together in half and make one snip to a point. The longer part – the point is towards the end of the ribbon. It makes them cut so much easier.
Hope this helps you.
Happy Crafting,
Jenny
Need some supplies and you are in Australia?
You can head to my store -> HERE Please use the Host Code: R663PWDW.
This is an easy card when you don’t want to fuss with colouring or creating backgrounds. I shared how to on my Instagram Reel last week if you caught it there.
You can use your Patterned paper. This one uses the Hello Irresistible Paper. It is a really cool effect. The flower from Everlasting Beauty is stamped in black. It comes together quickly.
The white card is embossed with the Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder. The sentiment is from the Sending Smiles Stamp set and cut with the co-ordinating dies. I have used a little Bubble Bath Sheer Ribbon under.
Why not try that idea yourself. Grab some patterned paper and create.
Happy Stamping,
Jenny

I have just got the Trucking Along and played with it over the weekend. I’m really not ready for Christmas creating but thought I would make these ones Christmas ones.
Here is one of the cards I created. I will share the other one another time.
The red strip is embossed with the Dots from the Basics Embossing Folder. The paper strip is using the Joy of Christmas paper found in the upcoming Mini Catalogue. Oh! and those beautiful Adhesive Backed Star Trinkets. They are so lovely.
This is the Trucking Along Bundle. ($72.75 AUD)
The Trucking Along Bundle and the Basics Embossing Folders are part of the Online Exclusives range. These are not found in a Catalogue but you can view them online. You can order there or Order directly with me as you would any other products.

In Australia and need some supplies??
You can shop directly in my store at the link just above. Please use the Host Code: R663PWDW
Do you find your dies wriggle around and slip when you cut them?
Here’s a tip. Add a little Washi Tape to them. Or you could add a little tape. If you use tape you may want to dab it on your clothes or something to take off some of the sticky.
Check it out below.
Do you do this already? It’s a good idea.
Hope it helps you out if you didn’t know.
Happy Crafting,
Jenny

Sunday Suites today with the Bright and Beautiful Suite.
With lots of celebrations this suite provides lots of festive designs and images to create with. The colours in the papers are bright and patterned too for fun projects.
You can create peek-through cards, gift tags, and more to celebrate birthdays, graduation, and achievements of all sorts.
Let’s see what is in the Beautiful Balloons Suite.
The suite includes:
The Beautiful Balloons Bundle (Stamps and Dies)
The Bright and Beautiful 6″x6″ (15.2cm x 15.2cm) Designer Series Paper.
Gold Celebrations 12″ x 12″ (30.5cm x 30.5cm) Specialty Designer Series Paper. 3 sheets – 1 each of 3 designs
The Beautiful Balloons Bundle. It certainly is a fun, festive set and check the fringing die. You can create some fringed finishes on your project OR I have recently seen someone roll it up and create fringed flowers. Try that idea out. 🙂
Lots of great bright colours in the Beautiful Balloons Designer Series Paper. The colours in this paper are Azure Afternoon, Berry Burst, Blueberry Bushel, Bubble Bath, Fresh Freesia, Lemon Lime Twist, Lemon Lolly, Lost Lagoon, Misty Moonlight, Pretty Peacock.
This is the Gold Celebrations Specialty Paper.
Now what about some projects with this suite.
See how the fringing can work.
Make a Shaker card with some sequins and it has some of the Gold Specialty Paper to layer on the top of the shaker part. That’s a fun element.
You can see the Beautiful Balloons Suite in my store -> HERE.
If you are in Australia and need to order you can head to that link OR contact me directly and I am happy to serve you.
I have another Everlasting Beauty Card for you. I have actually loved creating these cards. I’m not a huge lover of colouring but these have been relatively easy to colour.
The Waratah flower was coloured with the Pencils. The paper mat is from the Inked Botanicals Designer Series Paper.
The sentiment is from the Cheerful Daisies Stamp set. It was stamped in Versamark on black card and heat embossed in white.
The Everlasting Beauty stamp set is so lovely. It’s great that many of these lovely flowers are found in Australia.
If you would like this stamp set to create beautiful projects then you can grab this from my store -> HERE. Please use the Host Code: QXJQDQ9U OR contact me directly.
I hope you get to create some beautiful cards with this set.
I’m sharing this card with you today but I can tell you it nearly didn’t happen. I coloured the flowers from the Everlasting Beauty stamp set – and I hated it! I tossed it aside and that was my crafting done for the day. Do you ever feel like that??
The next day I picked it up. I still didn’t love it but thought maybe I could do something with it. So I finished the card and actually it wasn’t so bad. So here it is.
The flowers were coloured with the Stampin’ Blends. And the flowers were stamped in Gorgeous Grape on White card to create a background. The Old Olive card strip was embossed with the Stripes and Splatters 3D Embossing Folder. The sentiment is from the Go-To Greetings Stamp Set.
So I thought I would share – if you feel discouraged with a card firstly, don’t be hard on yourself. If need be step away from it, put it aside. Later maybe come back with fresh eyes and see that it may not be too bad. And really aren’t we our worst critic.
Have a Happy day and Be Kind to yourself.
Jenny

So I had to get it. I have had a play recently. I will share the cards with you over the coming weeks. I will say my colouring is a work in progress …
This is the first card I created with it.
The sentiment is from the Go-To Greetings. That set really has been my Go To for sentiments lately. The paper mat is from the Cheerful Daisies Designer Series Paper.
The flowers were coloured with the Pencils. (I’m working on it! 🙂
