WEEK 12 – 12 WEEKS OF CHRISTMAS WITH A SPECIAL TREAT BAG!

We have arrived to our last week for our 12 Weeks of Christmas Series. Our Week 12 project is a quick and easy Treat Bag.

For this one I have used the Green and Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper.

Here’s a close-up of the tag.

A tag was diecut from White card but also from the Graceful Greenery Vellum. I used the Greetings of the Season stamps and dies. Add a stamped leaf from the Golden Greenery stamps and dies and then also diecut leaves. One from Shaded Spruce and the other from Soft Sea Foam card.

It’s nice to dress up some chocolates in a cute bag. All you need is a clear plastic or Cello bag and some pretty paper. I share some tips in how to create them in the video below.

I hope you have enjoyed the projects through our 12 Weeks of Christmas Series and that they have inspired you. Some would work for any occasion so file them away for upcoming ideas.

Happy Christmas Crafting,

Jenny

MAKE A TRIANGLE BOX!

A Triangle Box would have to be one of the easiest type of boxes to make I think. No gluing. Just cut and score and fold.

Triangle Boxes have been around for some time. I used to make them a lot way back when I first started with Stampin’ Up! – 16 years ago!

I was reminded of them recently so pulled it out to make for a recent class. I wanted to share it with you.

These are using the Green and Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper. Seen Here.

The Green one was decorated with the Golden Greenery Dies and the sentiment from the Greetings of the Season. The Gold one was using the Reindeer Dies available in the upcoming Mini Catalogue.

With this particular Triangle Box you can make it any size you like. The length needs to be double the width. For this one it is 20cm x 10cm (8″x4″).

You can follow along with the Video. Find it on my Youtube if it is not showing here.

Have fun creating this,

Jenny

12 WEEKS OF CHRISTMAS – WEEK 12 – CHRISTMAS CRATE!

Here we are.  Week 12 of our 12 Weeks of Christmas Series.  When I started this series I thought it was so far off to the end.  It has come around so quickly.  I hope you have enjoyed the projects I have shared over the last 12 weeks.  Today is a fun Christmas treat box.

It’s a Christmas crate.  Fill it with treats to give as a gift but wouldn’t it look great as a place marker on a table for Christmas.

The So Santa set works so well for our hot summer Christmas events.  No snow here in Australia. Sun, sand and seashells right? 🙂

To make the crate I used the Wood Crate Framelits.  Simply cut 2 from Real Red cardstock and assemble as normal.  Before I assembled the box I stamped over it with the Holly Strand in several places.

I measured the width of the crate to know what size width for the red cardstock.  Look what else I have used?? The Rectangle Stitched Framelits.  Brand new coming in the Occasions Catalogue on January 3rd. I am so excited for these.

The So Santa image was stamped on Thick Whisper White and coloured with the Stampin’ Blends.  And look also, a new Stampin’ Blends colour – Balmy Blue. I like to outline the images when I colour them in light Smoky Slate blend.  It helps to add depth to your images and make them POP!

I added a little dazzle with Silver Glimmer Paper punched with the Duet Banner Punch.  I cut the banner in half and adhered it under the sentiment to extend the length.  The sentiment was cut with one of the smaller Rectangle Stitched Framelits.

I hope you have enjoyed this series.  It’s been fun.  If you missed some of the projects over the last few months then click on the tag for 12 Weeks of Christmas and it will show  you all of them.  It might be a bit late for this Christmas but you could file it away (or  PIN them) for later.

Thanks for following me along,

Jenny

GABLE CHRISTMAS BOX!

Here is a very quick treat box to make up for Christmas.  This one we made at my Christmas in July Class a while ago.  Yes I know that long ago and I am just sharing it now.  Sorry. 🙂

I thought you might like to see it.

These are using the Silver Gable Boxes in the Annual Catalogue.  You get 12 to a pack.  They also come White.

I diecut the red card with the Delicate Lace Edgelits. This was adhered to the front and the back of the box.   The sentiment is from the Stylish Christmas set and punch out with the Everyday Label Punch.  I punched one from Shaded Spruce too to add behind.  I tied around some of the Real Red Solid ribbon on the handle.  Too easy and they will fit a few sweet treats.

Hope you like it?  Thanks for looking.

MERRY LITTLE CHRISTMAS PIZZA BOX!

I created this Pizza Box project for a Christmas class a few weeks ago.  I didn’t share the box close-up at the time so I thought I would share it with you today.

I used 2 different pieces from the Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper pack. and layered them on an Old Olive Card mat.

A Stitched Shapes Circle was cut from the Gold Foil Sheets.  The sentiment from Snowflake Sentiments was cut with a Layered Circle Framelit.   To finish it I stamped holly leaves and berries from the Holly Berry Happiness set and punched with the Holly Berry Builder Punch.

You can decorate a number of these boxes in no time and fill them with treats for Christmas.

Hope you are not getting too stressed with all that last minute Christmas preparations,

Jenny

SOMETHING DIFFERENT – HOW ABOUT CRAFT FAIRS!!

I have been wanting to share these projects with you for a couple of months now but with all the busyness of Christmas they were just put aside.  So, before we get right in to Sale-A-Bration and sharing any more from the new Occasions Catalogue coming out I thought I should show you these NOW!!  At the end of October last year I had a stall at the local craft fair here.  I only had 2 weeks to get organised but I made a number of different projects to sell. I know that when I do craft fairs I go searching for ideas on the internet and I am sure you do the same too if you do markets or fairs. These projects are nothing startling but I thought I might share them with you if it might help you with ideas.  I will share these ideas through a number of posts this week.

Firstly, since it was leading up to Christmas I created some little Christmas treat boxes.

P1100426

I found this idea on Pinterest.  This is using the Milk Carton Die.  I cut 3 of them – 2 in Gumball Green and one in Cherry Cobbler.  I wrapped Cherry Cobbler Grosgrain ribbon around the 3 and added some mini clothes pegs to seal them.  On the front of the boxes I added scallop circles punched from retired Christmas paper and cut ‘JOY’ from silver Glimmer paper.

Another quick project was some Mini purses using the Petite Purse die.  I used some retired DSP and added some simple embellishments on the front.  Inside I added a few chocolate treats.

I have some more projects to share with you tomorrow so stop by again to check them out.
