New products are arriving Online from tomorrow (July 3rd). I will bring you more news about those later but today I wanted to show you a card I made recently with one of these new bundles. This is with the Frosted Forest Bundle.
The Frosted Forest Bundle comes with a stamp set, dies and masks. The stamp set has a number of different trees, great for any occasion. The masks have 2-3 masks for each tree so you can layer the colours on the image. I like that because I’m not a huge fan of colouring.
I will show you the bundle more later but for now I couldn’t wait to share the card. I used Pecan Pie for the trunk and Old Olive for the tree. Using the different layers added to the depth of the tree branches.
With the sentiment I added a sticky note over the full sentiment and just showed the Thinking of You on a small strip of Crushed Curry. Then I snipped the sentiment in half to separate it for the card.
Watch out from tomorrow for more products released as part of the Online Exclusives. There are a number of products for different occasions including Christmas. Great if you are planning some Christmas in July creating. Or to get started for your Christmas cards now. So check back soon.
If you love any of the Stampin’ Up! products and you are in Australia I would love you to stop by my store -> HERE. You can order Online. Please use the Host Code: JTRANKN3

I shared a post recently of a card I CASED from the Annual Catalogue. Head back 2-3 posts back on my blog if you missed it. I thought I would share more of the card here now.
This is the card created copying one from page 53 of the Annual Catalogue.
I have used the Flowers of Beauty Stamps and Dies. I diecut the leafy stem from the Petunia Pop Glimmer Paper which adds a lovely sparkle. You can see that below.
The small flowers were diecut with one of the dies and then some Pretty in Pink Ink dabbed on the edges of the petals.
Don’t forget to use your Catalogue for inspiration when you are stuck. It is a great resource that we overlook.
The Flowers of Beauty are at the moment unavailable which is a shame BUT they will be back very soon. So you can grab your set then. Or if you would like me to let you know when they are back please comment or email me and I can notify you as soon as they are.

Now off you go and grab your catalogue. Have a flick through and see what card inspires you to create.
For one of our cards in our “Beauty Class” last week we played with the Spotlighting technique with the Layers of Beauty.
To create the Spotlighting Technique, firstly stamp the large flower and diecut a circle out in an area on the flower. The Stylish Shapes dies were used for that. Instead of using the masks to colour the flowers on the diecut circle we coloured them with the Stampin’ Blends.
Colouring the background area with the Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends helps to make the flowers POP. Adding a black circle mat behind the coloured circle part helps to make it POP too.
During the class while others were working on their projects I created a different version of the card by turning the card the other way.
This one has added sparkle too with the In Color Glimmer Specialty Paper.
Here is a close-up of the Spotlight area.
What do you think? Maybe try the Spotlighting Technique yourself.
The Layers of Beauty is a lovely bundle. For this one I have only used the Stamps which work so well in themselves.
You can see the full bundle in my store -> HERE. BONUS – They are 10% off this month which is awesome!
If you are in Australia you can shop for them directly there if you would like to add them to your crafty supplies. OR Contact me and I can help you out.
Wildflower Designs Bundle. Have you noticed this one?
I’m loving the dies and how they layer together. Check these cards out. (Created by Stampin’ Up! Artists)
This is a great way of showing off the pretty papers. Make it a star within the diecuts. The papers are the Wildly Flowering Designer Series Paper.
Or this one, Diecutting the paper this time and layering them over the card as a background. This is a great way instead of just adding a piece of paper as a card mat.
What do you think of these ideas?
The Wildflower DesignsBundle are just one of the bundles reduced this month with the Bundle Sale in June.
If you want to check them all out you can see them out in my store -> HERE.
If you are in Australia and need to order any of these great reduced bundles then you can order in my store at the above link. OR Contact me directly and I can help you.
Wednesday’s WOW! #162 – Use Your Catalogue for Inspiration.
Do you struggle with creating sometimes?
You can find so much inspiration with the projects in the catalogue.
Copy them as they are.
Give them a twist in direction.
Change the colours.
Use a different stamp set or other products.
I was looking for ideas for the Unbounded Beauty Suite and came across this card on page 53 of the catalogue. Then changed it a little for my card.
I created a larger frame and added a sparkly leaf spray with the In Color Glimmer Specialty Paper. I used a piece of the Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper for the mat behind the white card. The sentiment is from the Simply Said Stamp set.
So next time you are stuck with inspiration, pull out your catalogue.
