ORNATE POPPY THANK YOU CARD!

Playing with the Ornate Garden products last week. I teamed them with the Poppy Moments Dies.

I had a piece of the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper left over so adhered that on the card base.

The sentiment from the Ornate Thanks set was stamped in black on white card that had been diecut with one of the Ornate Layers Dies.  Then stamping the “my friend” on Blushing Bride card to punch out with the Classic Label Punch.

The poppies were created using the Poppy Moments Dies and layered on the card.

See the Gold Gem?? Some new bling is available in the Ornate Garden Suite of products.  Gotta love gold shiny bling.

The Ornate Garden products are now available in store.  See them now -> HERE.

Have a great week ahead,

Jenny

TAGS IN BLOOM THANKS!

I have been making some simple Customer Thank You cards with the Tags In Bloom stamp set and some scraps of pretty patterned paper.  I made a few of each type.  It’s a great way to use those little pieces up.

On these cards above I used the Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper from Sale-a-Bration.  for the one on the left and for the larger card below.  The card on the right above was using the Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper.

With the Tags In Bloom set you have the “solid” style of stamps that you can use to infill the lined flower images.  You can colour them with your Stampin’ Blends too if you would rather.  I love that with this set that the sentiment section can be punched out with the Label Me Lovely Punch.  There is also the Label Me Fancy Punch that would punch the other sentiments out.  These cards are 10cm x 10cm (4″x4″) in size.

On the cards I made like the one above they were the standard card size.  I had some white card cut with the rectangle from the Nature’s Thoughts Dies.  The sentiment piece from the Tags in Bloom was stamped on the white card and again stamped on scrap white and punched out.

Simple and quick cards.  That’s what you need in a hurry.

I hope you are getting lots of creating done in these times.

Keep safe and well.

STAMPING AROUND THE WORLD FEBRUARY BLOGHOP – HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!

Time for another Blog Hop with the Stamping Around The World Tutorial Group.  This month I am sharing a project with the Happy Birthday To You stamp set as that is the stamp set I used for the Tutorials this month.

I wanted to try something a little different with the dies.  I wanted to layer up the flowers on the card to give more dimension.  A bit like the old Paper Tole effect.  You can tell in the photo how it looks.

I stamped the cake from Happy Birthday To You on white card 3 times.  I used Basic Gray ink as it is a little softer.  I coloured just the cake on one, and then the flowers on the other 2 cakes.  They were coloured with Stampin’ Blends (Flirty Flamingo and Old Olive).  The cake was coloured with Mint Macaron.

On one of the cakes (the one without the flowers coloured in), I cut the full cake out with the Birthday Dies.  On the other two cakes I cut the flowers out with the flower die.  On one of these diecut flowers I trimmed off the top flower to have just a single flower.

Then diecut some leaves from Old Olive and Mint Macaron and adhere them behind the flowers before assembling them together.  You will find it so much easier – trust me!! 😉

After all the diecutting you can layer the cake together using Dimensionals to layer up the flowers.  The full diecut flowers was layered on to the diecut cake and then the single flower was raised up on top of these flowers.  If that makes sense?  So there were 3 layers with the top flowers.  Check the photo below to see it.

To finish the card I adhered a piece of the Perennial Essence paper on to a white card mat and then they were adhered to a Flirty Flamingo card base.

A rectangle from Vellum was cut from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.  To adhere this to the card I added a little Snail Adhesive  behind where the cake would be and then the cake was adhered on to the Vellum with Dimensionals.

The little sentiment is from Itty Bitty Greetings and cut with the cute little shape in the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

Just a reminder that the Stamping Around The World are put together by 12 Demonstrators from around the world.  You can receive these tutorials as a Thank you for ordering from one of us.  Or you can purchase the Tutorials from me for $20 AUD.

Now you can head off on the Hop again.  Click on the little blue frog below and it will send you to the links.

Happy Hopping,

Jenny

DAFFODIL TIMELESS TROPICAL!

This weekend I am having my Tropical Fiesta Catalogue Launch.  I am sure it will be fun and with this weather it will certainly be feeling tropical.  I thought I would start sharing some of my cards using this suite.

To start off with I CASED the Catalogue.  You can find this card on p38 of the Mini Catalogue.  Isn’t it sunny and fresh??  I have to say I am loving the cute little Tropical Oasis Trinkets.

The card is just a little stamping with the Timeless Tropical stamp set and then diecutting.  Easy with the co-ordinating In The Tropics Dies. I find it easiest to adhere the little Trinkets on with Glue Dots.

If you notice the Palm Trees the leaves are stamped in Old Olive and the trunks Early Espresso.  On the card in the catalogue I think they have been coloured with the markers.  I didn’t do mine that way though.  I put together a video last week showing how I created the trees which I shared on my Facebook page when we went looking through the catalogue.  (BTW: Do you follow me on Facebook?? Just click on the social media links in the right column on my blog).

What I did was stamped them twice, once in Old Olive and once in Early Espresso.  I diecut them then trimmed off the leaves on the Old Olive one.  It is just simple snipping.

When I created the card on the video I didn’t fully complete it.  It was just to give you the idea of stamping the trees mainly.  Afterwards I put the card together but this time I did it a little different.  You can see that one below.

Which one do you like better??

This is the Timeless Tropical Bundle.  Available in my store now -> HERE. $90.75 AUD – which means you can pick up a Sale-A-Bration choice FREE. 🙂

Of course, don’t miss the beautiful Tropical Oasis paper.  (This one is available in my Paper share too.  Just head back a post or 2).

The Timeless Tropical is a great suite and I will be sharing more with it so stay tuned.

Have a great weekend.  I’m off to practise my hula dancing.
