CREATE A WINDOW FLAP FOLD CARD + A VIDEO!

This week’s video is a Window Flap Fold Card. It gives a little surprise when you start opening the card.

This is the card when it is closed up.

I used the Florals in Bloom Designer Series Paper. It has such lovely colours and prints in the pack. The flowers are from the Pretty Florals Bundle. These are new in the 2025 Annual Catalogue just out this week.

When you open the card…

The sentiment is from the Loveliest Tree Stamp Set. For the window you can use any shape but I think circles do work best.

This is the inside.

I’m going to show you how easy it is to make one yourself. So follow along in the video.

You can follow along with the video HERE or on Youtube. I share the measurements in Metric and Imperial.

If you would like the written Tutorial I send this out in my Newsletter the following week after this is published.

STAMPIN’ UP! WILDFLOWER BIRTHDAY – ME TO YOU

In my Facebook Group this week I have set a little “Creative Spark” post to perhaps inspire the members creating.

This week it was to use 2 different pieces of patterned paper on their cards. So of course I created too. This was my card.

I used the Wildflower Birthday Specialty Paper. It has gorgeous paper prints as well as Diecut images and pieces ready to use. I love that this can make creating a lot quicker.

I used a sketch to create the card. The square Birthday Cake image was cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies to add some extra detail and layered on a Old Olive Card Mat.

The sentiment is from the Bright Borders Stamp Set and cut with one of the dies from the Mixed Labels Dies. A little flower piece was added that was in the diecut paper pack.

So why not try this yourself. Grab 2 different pieces of patterned paper and create a card. If you need to check out a Card Sketch to work with to help you put the card together.

If you haven’t seen the Wildflower Birthday Specialty Paper before this is the pack.

You can see it more Online -> HERE. You can order there or Contact me directly. I would love to help you get that pretty paper.

Happy Creating

TRIFOLD ARCHES CARD + VIDEO!

This week for our video we have … a Trifold Arches Card.

You can make them any shape you like though if you don’t have the Everyday Arches Dies. Try with Oval or Rectangle Dies or cut your Rectangles with the Paper Trimmer if you don’t have any.

Here is the card folded up.

You can also decorate it as you like. I have used the Wildflower Birthday Specialty Paper which has the gorgeous paper with gold touches and the Diecut pieces so no colouring involved.

The card is very easy to make. In the video I show you the measurements in Metric and Imperial. If you would like the written Tutorial I will be sending that out to my newsletter Subscribers next week. (Tuesday 15th April).

I send out a Tutorial each week to my lovely Subscribers so be sure to be on the list. You can find the link in the Right Hand Side Bar on my blog.

Here’s the video for you.

I hope you get to make one. If you have any questions then don’t hesitate to contact me.

These are the Everyday Arches Dies. There are 10 Dies in total you can use one on their own or layer them together.

You can see them more in my store -> HERE.

A SIMPLE CARD WITH THE THANKFUL GARDEN STAMP SET!

Recently we had the Thankful Garden Class. I showed different ways of using the Stamps, Dies and Masks. Everyone created 3 cards.

I like to start off with a very simple card. Then step them up and then usually a different technique or Fun Fold.

This was the Simple card. Just stamping the big flowers on the card and adding some pretty paper from the Unbounded Beauty Paper.

This is a great one when you don’t feel like colouring. But if the colouring urge grabs you it’s an easy one to colour. It has Masks in the Bundle which you can colour with ink and the Blending Brushes. Or you could colour them with the Stampin’ Blends or other colouring mediums.

I have to point out the sentiment rectangle piece. These are my new favourite. They are the Textured Notes Dies. I have talked about these previously but they are gorgeous. They have different edgings around the rectangles. You can use them on their own or layering them together.

If you are in Australia I would love to help you grab your latest crafting goodness. You can head to my Store -> HERE.

Don’t miss out on the Last Chance retiring items though too. Great discounts there.

AND, if you are a Wollongong Local and would love to get together with some new found friends and be creative I would love you to join my classes. We always look forward to people joining us. Drop me a Comment or an email and I can tell you about it.

Happy Crafting,

Jenny

WEDNESDAY’S WOW! 167 – TEXTURED NOTES DIES SIZES

Wednesday’s WOW! #167 – What’s the sizes of the Textured Notes Dies??

People often ask the sized of the Textured Notes Dies. And that’s a good question. You want to know how they will fit on your card.

So here you go. I put together this little chart that shows the sizes. Save it for future reference.

These dies are part of the Textured Notes Bundle but I particularly like the Dies. They have different markings on the edges that create embossed look on the edge of your card. Use them to create a frame or to add an image directly on them. They are very versatile on their own or layer them together.

The Dies and stamps have just been released as an Online Exclusives this month.

You can see the Dies more in store -> HERE.

You can see the Bundle more in store -> HERE.

I am loving these dies. They are very versatile and I think they will be a great one for your collection.

Hope that is helpful for you.

STAMPIN’ UP! THANKFUL GARDEN WITH PAPER STRIPS

Our class last week was using the Thankful Garden Bundle. There are lots of ways to use this gorgeous bundle.

This was one of the cards we made. We coloured the flower with the Stampin’ Blends as in the class it is hard to use the masks with a group to share them around. But it shows that you can use these in many different ways.

The paper strips are with the Mixed Media Floral Paper that is an Online Exclusives. They just make a different element to the card mat and highlights the colours used.

This is the Thankful Garden Bundle. You can see it more -> HERE.
