FLIP IT FUN FOLD CARD + VIDEO

Today’s video is a Flip It card. I don’t know what it’s actual name is but that’s what I call it. I’m going to show you how.

This is the card.

The front panel stands up when you Flip It.

Then when it lays flat.

It is a little larger than a standard card so you may need to make an envelope to fit or give it directly to your special person. You may want to explain how it flips too so they can see the fun of it (and give you a WOW!)

I used the cute Festive Friends Stamps and Dies. You can create this for any occasion whether it is Christmas or Birthday or some other special event.

STAMPIN’ UP! BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLIES PAIR ~

Some time ago I shared a video of 5 Ways with the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Butterflies Bundle. It has been extremely popular. BUT I realised I hadn’t actually shown you the card created in the video.

So here it is. I made the Balmy Blue version in the video but had the Fresh Freesia one made. Which colour do you like?

BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLIES WITH BOKEH PAPER!

Beautiful Butterflies and pretty paper. It’s such a sweet combination. This card was one of the cards in the video of 5 Ways with the Beautiful Butterflies. I realised I hadn’t shown you more of it

I have used some strips of the Beautiful Bokeh Paper on the card mat. Then stamped and coloured 3 small butterflies to match the paper strips. I added some Wink of Stella to the wings to make them sparkle but it is hard to see in the photo.

Although there is a little colouring with the butteflies it is a card you can reproduce a number of to give to lovely people to brighten their day.

5 WAYS WITH THE STAMPIN’ UP! BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLIES BUNDLE + VIDEO ~

I have been playing with the gorgeous new Beautiful Butterflies Bundle. There are so many ways creating with this bundle and I discovered some Tips that might help you when creating with this yourself.

I put together a video to share 5 Ways creating with these Stamps, Dies and Embossing Folder and point out some things to look out for when using them.

If you don’t have the Beautiful Butterflies Bundle some of the ideas may work with other Butterfly stamps and dies you have so check them out.

I will share the cards more over the coming weeks in separate but for now follow along with the video.

WEEK 12 – 12 WEEKS OF CHRISTMAS WITH A SPECIAL TREAT BAG!

We have arrived to our last week for our 12 Weeks of Christmas Series. Our Week 12 project is a quick and easy Treat Bag.

For this one I have used the Green and Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper.

Here’s a close-up of the tag.

A tag was diecut from White card but also from the Graceful Greenery Vellum. I used the Greetings of the Season stamps and dies. Add a stamped leaf from the Golden Greenery stamps and dies and then also diecut leaves. One from Shaded Spruce and the other from Soft Sea Foam card.

It’s nice to dress up some chocolates in a cute bag. All you need is a clear plastic or Cello bag and some pretty paper. I share some tips in how to create them in the video below.

WEEK 9 – 12 WEEKS OF CHRISTMAS – A WINDOW CARD WITH HUMBLE HOME!

Week 9 of our 12 Weeks of Christmas series.

Today’s project is a Window card and it’s using the cute Humble Home Stamps and Punch. I have just recently bought this bundle so it was fun to play with.

This is the card I created. I have used the ‘A Little Bit Festive’ Specialty Designer Series Paper.

This is the inside of the card.

Don’t forget the Mini Tag you can create with the Circle cut out.

GIFT CARD HOLDER WITH AN ENVELOPE FOR WEEK 6 – 12 WEEKS OF CHRISTMAS!

It’s Week 6 of our 12 Weeks of Christmas Series. Can you believe we are half-way through already!

This week’s project is a Gift Card Holder. It is so easy to create. It’s made with a standard White Envelope, some festive paper and matching ribbon.

You can see how to make one in the video below. Gift Cards are a popular gift for Christmas so I hope you get to make one for yourself.

This is the Gift Card I created in the video. I will share some other versions in a later post.

I decorated this one with the Reindeer Days Designer Series Paper. The words on the front are from the Trucking Along Stamp Set. The inside is one from the Greetings of the Season Stamp Set.

A CUT AND FLIP CARD WITH REINDEER DAYS!

Did you catch last week’s video for our 12 Weeks of Christmas series?? It was created with the Cut and Flip Method. That’s what I call it anyway.

The card in the video was using the Season of Green and Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper. I created another version. This one is using the Reindeer Days Designer Series Paper.

Simply put the Cut and Flip Method is take a piece of pretty paper. Cutting it and then flipping one side over. So you see both sides of the paper. And it is cool too.

This is the card.

The sentiment is from Reindeer Fun Stamps and Dies. The tree was stamped in Garden Green and Granny Apple Green.

Don’t forget some sparkle with the Granny Apple Green Glimmer Paper.

CUT AND FLIP FOR WEEK 4 – 12 WEEKS OF CHRISTMAS!

Back with Week 4 for our 12 Weeks of Christmas series.

This week we are looking at the Cut and Flip Method for our Christmas cards. This method can be a great one for making multiple cards at one time too. It’s very quick and easy.

You can just use this idea to make as a single card too.

You just need some gorgeous paper with co-ordinating patterns on each side of the paper. Watch the video below to find out how.

I have used the Season of Green and Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper on this one. And also used the Golden Greenery Stamps and Dies and the Greetings of the Season Stamps and Dies.

At the end of the video I share another version with different papers.

CUTE DEER WITH THE REINDEER FUN FOR WEEK 3 OF 12 WEEKS OF CHRISTMAS

It’s Week 3 for our 12 Weeks of Christmas series.

This card is using the Reindeer Fun Stamps and Dies which are just the cutest. The card shows a great way of using different papers together too. I used the Reindeer Days Designer Series Paper.

In the video I showed a template for variations in colour with the deer head. I have that below so you can refer back to it later.

They can look so different using different colours. Don’t forget the Red Glimmer for a Rudolph nose.
