BEAUTIFUL BOKEH BUTTERFLIES CARDS

I have been playing a lot with the Beautiful Butterflies Bundle along with the Beautiful Bokeh Paper. They are a pretty combination together.

For some simple cards I embossed the paper with the Beautiful Butterflies Hybrid Embossing Folder. I love the depth of texture you get with this folder. The paper gives you the Bokeh effect without creating the mess doing the technique.

These are 2 of the colours. A Balmy Blue look and Calypso Coral.

Then there is this one a little more blue and Fresh Freesia showing on the pattern.

I diecut 3 butterflies in white card to add to the card with a simple HELLO Sentiment. This was cut with the Perennial Postage Dies. Simple but sweet cards. We made this as one of our cards in class last week.

THOUGHTFUL JOURNEY BOOKBINDING CARD

Recently I shared a Book Binding Card with the cute Toadstool Gardens Paper. That was part of a Blog Hop I was in. Today I’m sharing another version along with the link to create your own.

This one is created with the Thoughtful Journey Paper. The sentiment is from the Bright Borders Stamp Set and using the To The Point Label Punch.

This is the inside. I added a strip of the paper across the bottom.

The Bright Borders Stamp Set has some really versatile sentiments and I love the pretty bordered edges.

Stampin' Up!

BOOK-BINDING FUN FOLD FOR ESAD MINI CATALOGUE AND SALE-A-BRATION BLOGHOP!

We have welcomed in the 2025 Mini Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration. It’s an exciting time with lots of great new products. Today I’m joining in with the ESAD Mini Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration Blog Hop. Thanks for joining in with us.

Firstly, what is ESAD?

For our project today I have used the Toadstool Gardens Designer Series Paper available as a bonus choice for Sale-A-Bration and created a Book-Binding Fold Card. They are so easy to make and the paper makes it so fun!

The sentiment is from the Bright Borders Stamp Set from the Mini Catalogue and punched out with the To The Point Label Punch.

I created another version of this card and will show that to you in my next post and share more details on how to make them. So be sure to check back.

SWEET SUNDAY WITH STAMPIN’ UP HUMBLE HOME!

Sweet Sunday with the Humble Home Bundle. The Bundle comes with the Stamp Set and Punch. This is a new addition to my collection. Why did I wait so long… Do you have it yourself?

This was one of the cards we created for Our Christmas Card Buffet on Friday.

I have used the retired paper Shining Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper. I thought the Candy Canes were so cute and suited the little house.

I stamped and coloured the house as I had in the recent video with this set. You can head back a post to see the video there. It was stamped on Crumb Cake card but it seems more yellow in the photo. The scallops were coloured in Real Red Stampin’ Blends, the window sills in Pecan Pie and the door in the Dark Granny Apple Green.

The white card piece with the sentiment was diecut with one of the rectangular dies from the Everyday Details Dies.

It’s a simple card but it’s cute. And when you have a Buffet of cards you want to keep them fairly simple to be able to make a lot and move on to the next course.

SURFING SANTA FOR CHRISTMAS!

It’s a Surfing Santa today. This set is a great one for our hot Christmas time in Australia. It’s good to see Santa out of his Santa suit.

I coloured this one with Watercolor Pencils. I still have much to learn with colouring.

The Paper is from the Reindeer Days Designer Series Paper pack.

It’s a fun set to create with.

LOVE AND JOY WITH NESTS OF WINTER PAPER!

This is a simple card with the Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper.

The paper has such pretty bird images. This one you don’t need too much with. I added the Love and Joy from the Greetings of the Season Stamps and diecut it with the Nested Essentials Die. I added a smaller one diecut with Red Glimmer Paper. It just adds a little sparkle to the simpleness.

This is one of the cards we made at our recent Nests of Winter Class. I usually start off with a simple card and then move on to more detailed ones. Such fun! If you are local in Wollongong come along. Or you can have the Card Kits mailed out to you if you are in Australia.

CUT AND FLIP FOR WEEK 4 – 12 WEEKS OF CHRISTMAS!

Back with Week 4 for our 12 Weeks of Christmas series.

This week we are looking at the Cut and Flip Method for our Christmas cards. This method can be a great one for making multiple cards at one time too. It’s very quick and easy.

You can just use this idea to make as a single card too.

You just need some gorgeous paper with co-ordinating patterns on each side of the paper. Watch the video below to find out how.

I have used the Season of Green and Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper on this one. And also used the Golden Greenery Stamps and Dies and the Greetings of the Season Stamps and Dies.

At the end of the video I share another version with different papers.

CUTE DEER WITH THE REINDEER FUN FOR WEEK 3 OF 12 WEEKS OF CHRISTMAS

It’s Week 3 for our 12 Weeks of Christmas series.

This card is using the Reindeer Fun Stamps and Dies which are just the cutest. The card shows a great way of using different papers together too. I used the Reindeer Days Designer Series Paper.

In the video I showed a template for variations in colour with the deer head. I have that below so you can refer back to it later.

They can look so different using different colours. Don’t forget the Red Glimmer for a Rudolph nose.

CHRISTMAS IS BETTER TOGETHER WITH STAMPIN’ UP! REINDEER DAYS!

I have been playing with the Reindeer Days Designer Series Paper recently. And of course the Reindeer Fun Stamps and Dies.

We have a class on this Friday with it so it’s been lots of fun. This is one of the cards we will be making in class.

In the die set it’s not just dies for cute reindeers it has dies to make the holly leaves and it also has gifts dies too. It is very versatile.

The little deer image I have used on this card doesn’t have a die. I have cut this with scissors.
