Wednesday’s WOW! #169.Some Fresh New Colours for creating Masculine Cards.
Do you find Masculine cards hard to make? I know I do. I resort to the blues, browns, yellows, reds.
Well, I have some fresh new colours to try.
What do you think? What colours will you try out next??
This is good timing with Father’s Day coming up soon here in Australia. But these are great for Birthdays and any other occasion for the boys. Big and Little Ones.
So maybe Pin this Image above or Save it so you can turn to it when you have some cards to make.
Happy Crafting,
Jenny

These are the new Sale-A-Bration Choices available. You can pick one with your $100 order (AUD).
The Trusty Tools Dies are great for the masculine cards. Bees are popular at the moment. But how versatile are the Alphabet Dies! So many great picks. What would be your favourite?

With the new Mini Catalogue released last week I was part of the Crafty Collaborations Mini Catalogue Launch Party. Demonstrators from around the world shared project videos of some of the great new products.
It was so great to be a part of it. You can follow along now too and maybe be inspired by the projects. I will tell you how to find it but firstly let me show you the project I created.
I worked with the Trusty Tools Bundle creating a Split Front Card.
Perhaps you have made this style before?
How cool is the Trusty Tools though. I love the Trusty Toolbox paper. That is one of the free choices for Sale-A-Bration. Some of the dies will diecut some of the tools.
In the Mini Catalogue Launch there are 28 project videos. Also though there are fun games to join in on. You can choose what you like to do and can come back to it later at any time.
See the Crafty Collaborations Mini Catalogue Launch Party -> HERE.
If you would like to just watch my video you can watch directly below or on Youtube now -> HERE.
The Measurements are in the video they will also be sent out in the next Tutorial Newsletter this week or next week. If you would like to receive my newsletters and get a Project each week to your Inbox subscribe to my newsletters. The link is in the side bar on my blog.
Happy Crafting,
Jenny

Today with Sunday Suites we will have a look at the Let’s Go Fishing Suite.
It’s coming up to Father’s Day next month here in Australia. So perhaps this might work for some Aussie readers for the men in their life. And it’s not just for the fishermen.
The full Let’s Go Fishing Suite Collection.
The Suite includes:
GONE FISHING PHOTOPOLYMER STAMP SET
GONE FISHING DIES (If you get the dies and stamps as a bundle you save 10%).
TWISTED ROPE 3D EMBOSSING FOLDER
LET’S GO FISHING 12″ X 12″ (30.5 X 30.5 CM) DESIGNER SERIES PAPER
The Gone Fishing Bundle.
I love how there is even the die for a tackle box. But I have seen that used for lots of other images too.
Here is the Let’s Go Fishing Paper in more detail. There are some prints that you can use for any occasion not just for the fisherman (or fisherwoman). 🙂
The colours in the paper are: Boho Blue, Calypso Coral, Misty Moonlight, Mossy Meadow, Pebbled Path, Pecan Pie, Petal Pink, Very Vanilla, Wild Wheat.
What about this Twisted Rope 3D Embossing Folder. It looks pretty cool. You can see a sample using it further below. But consider using it for other “non-masculine” cards even. What fun!
Now for a sample group. Lots of ideas.
You can see a bit clearer on this card below how you can use the Twisted Roper Embossing Folder. It adds quite a bit of texture. If you rub some ink over with a Blending Brush it highlights some of the “rope”.
The Let’s Go Fishing Suite can be seen more in my store -> HERE.
And you can shop there too if you need some crafting supplies and you are in Australia. If shopping online please use the Host Code: R663PWDW.

It’s been another busy year of crafting here. Thanks for following me along.
I thought I would take a few minutes and share my favourite projects from the past year. So come on a little journey with me. And click on the heading of the project to take you back to the original post and read more about them. Even catch the video of many of them.
I loved this gorgeous Friendly Hello Paper available for Sale-A-Bration in January. And this is great fold to show both sides of the gorgeous paper. (Must try that again).
This was a great stamp set to create a Slider card. But you can try this with any of your stamps. What about that Sunshine and Rainbows paper. So bright and Happy. 🙂
Let’s face it – Male cards are hard to make aren’t they?? We had a great Masculine Cards Class earlier in the year. The Let’s Set Sail stamps and punch were fun to use.
The Wild and Sweet Stamp set was one of my top picks from the new catalogue in May. I don’t do a lot of colouring but I loved colouring this cute Koala. I shared some tips colouring this image in the video for this card.
The Hues of Happiness was another of my top picks from the catalogue. I think many people also loved this suite. The Tunnel cards I created with this has been very popular.
The most popular event this year with the Winter Crafternoon. It was such a fun time crafting together followed by a Devonshire Tea. Watch out for more events in the new year.
Another very popular Fun Fold from this year was the Diagonal Fold Card with the Christmas Lights Bundle. Lots of people have shared their versions with me which has been so great.
Is there a theme here with Fun Folds that are my favourite projects for the year. I do love a Fun Fold card. This one was the Half Fold Easel Card with the Hippest Hippos Stamp set for Sale-A-Bration.
It was great to be part of a collaboration to share you some fantastic Christmas projects. I kicked the 12 days series off with my project, A candle with the Merriest Moments stamps and dies. You just have to go back to that post and start the 12 Days of Christmas to check out all the projects.
I hope you have enjoyed looking back at these projects. I can’t wait to share more with you in the coming year.
To lots of creating in 2022. Come and join in with me and follow along.
Another card with the Adventurous Journey. I have loved this stamp set. Really! It’s a great one for the boys cards – or the adventurer.
I have used the Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper which is an awesome pack of paper. It is a Host Rewards item from the current Mini Catalogue that you can redeem with your orders. It has paper suitable for Christmas, birthdays, Halloween even but suitable for lots of occasions.
The kayaker was coloured with the Stampin’ Blends.
I have more with this set that I will share with you over time so watch out for them.
As always if you need supplies and in Australia I would love to serve you. You can pop by my store -> HERE and check it out. Please use the Host Code: 6PPKEPZJ
Or contact me directly and I can add your order for you.
Thank You for your support. Even just stopping by my blog and checking out my projects is always so nice. And you can “follow” along to be sure to get my updates if you haven’t already. Save you stopping by to see if there are posts. Just check that tab in the right hand column on my blog.
I have been playing a lot with the Adventurous Journey stamp set lately. It’s such a great one for the boys cards. It was fun to use this in class last week too.
I wanted to try something a little different. I have noticed Book Binding Fold cards around and thought that would work well.
Here is the card.
The outside.
The kayaker was coloured with the Stampin’ Blends. For the sentiment I stamped the words on the Balmy Blue card and Crushed Curry Card. Then diecut them with the long sentiment die in the Sending Dies. It was easy to just trim them down.
I find that a lot easier than trying to squeeze a sentiment on a thin strip of card.
The paper is from the Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper pack which is a Host Reward in the Mini Catalogue. It’s great paper by the way. It has such a range of colours and prints. Why not take a closer look at it.
This is the inside.
I think I will just have to put together a video soon for it. So stay tuned on that.
If you need any supplies to create your next project I love to serve you. Head to my store -> HERE. Please use the Host Code: 6PPKEPZJ
