SUNDAY SUITES – PRIZED PEONY SUITE!

Today for Sunday Suites I have a GORGEOUS suite – and will say that it is fast becoming a favourite for many.  It is the Prized Peony Suite.

Let’s see all that gorgeousness that’s in this suite.

The Peony Garden Suite Collection for $170.50 AUD includes –
* Prized Peony Cling Stamp Set (10% off)
* Peony Garden Designer Series Paper
* Square Vellum Doilies
* Elegant Faceted Gems
* Gray Granite 1/4″ (6.4 mm) Shimmer Ribbon
* Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder
* Peony Dies (10% off)

Here is a little closer look at the Prized Peony Bundle ($100.75 AUD) The stamp set has beautiful sentiments.  You can stamp and colour the flowers or use the dies to build up a Peony flower.

We have the Peony Dies.  There are some that diecut the flower images from the stamp set and some that cut and build the peony flower.  Check the sample further below.  There is a way of building the flowers up using the dies.  Play around with them and have fun creating your flowers.

Below is the Peony Garden Designer Series Paper.  The colours in the paper include: Basic Gray, Gray Granite, Petal Pink, Whisper White.  Some of the prints are black and white so you can colour the images if you like.

The Square Vellum Doilies below create some gorgeous softness to your projects.  There is a sample below to show you.

The Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder adds a lovely texture to your projects.

Check these projects out.

You can see how the pretty Peony turns out when you diecut it and layer the pieces together.

Lots of beautiful projects.  I can’t take credit for any of them.  They have been created by amazing Stampin’ Up! artists.

This card is a close-up from above.  You can see the Dainty Diamonds Embossing Folder embossed on Vellum.  This also uses a Square Vellum Doily.  How gorgeous!

What about this flower below?? This has been so beautifully coloured.

I have had lots of fun with the Whale Done stamp set lately.  It’s just so cute!

One of the cards I have made is a fun fold. I’m not really sure what the fold is called.  I have a few names – Perhaps a reverse Gatefold? A ‘W’ fold.  What would you call it?  Let me know in the comments.

CHRISTMAS IN JULY BLOG HOP!

Today I am hopping along for Christmas in July with a great group of crafters.  There is some amazing talent in this group and I am honoured to be joining in.

For the Blog Hop we are featuring products from the new Holiday Catalogue beginning on August 4th.  I am excited to start creating with these products.  I know we may not feel too much like Christmas yet but once you start creating with these fantastic products you will quickly get in the mood.

For the Blog Hop today I am using the Dove Of Hope Bundle which has the gorgeous stamp set and dies.  I made 2 projects to share with you today.

The first card is a more simple design.  The dove is diecut with Whisper White card and it really shows off the crispness of the dove as well as the little embossed details.  Don’t you love the detail in the wings??

To complete the card I used a piece of the ‘Tis the Season Designer Series Paper adhered on to a Real Red card mat.  The leaves were stamped over the Garden Green card base in Garden Green ink.  For the sentiment it was stamped in black on to white card and then punched with the Timeless Label Punch.

The next card is a stepped up version.

The red card mat was diecut with one of the Ornate Layers Dies with piece of the ‘Tis the Season Designer Series Paper added.

On this dove I diecut it with some of the Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper.  This paper is gorgeous and has flocked designs on vellum There are 3 different designs in the pack.  I went for this “flourish” style.  I wasn’t sure how it would work.  I did find that some of the flocked pattern was flattened but you still get the pattern on the dove.

The sentiment this time was heat embossed in gold on to white card and punched with the Timeless Label Punch.  To add a little extra shine I cut a small strip of Gold Foil and flagged the end to go under the sentiment.

Now you are off to continue your Hop.  I hope the links work for you. 🙂

CONTINUE THE HOP NOW.  Click on the “Click here” below.

WHALE DONE – BIG DEAL!

I have been playing with the Whale Done Bundle this past week getting ready for my Whale Done class.  This Whale Done is such a cute set.

While I can’t share you the cards we are doing for class.  You have to join in to see those ones I have a couple of other cards I am going to share with you.

Today’s card is very simple in design.  It uses the beautiful Whale of A Time Paper.  I wasn’t sure what to do with this particular print.  It is such a large design.  But really what more do you need.  I trimmed the piece down carefully to fit the card front so as not to lose much of the print.  It was then adhered to a Pretty Peacock Card base.

The sentiment was stamped in Memento Black and diecut with the Stitched Shapes Dies.

If you notice the turtle it has 2 colours on it.  To get this effect, I stamped the turtle first in Granny Apple Green and then sponged lightly around the edge of the turtle with Pretty Peacock ink.  It gives a cool effect. Then fussy cut with scissors.  Sorry no dies for this one. 🙂

The Whale Done Class is available Online or Face-to-Face.

Head back one or 2 posts to get all the details.

Have a great weekend.  Hope you get some creating in.

Don’t forget Bonus Days.  Just over one week left!

A PAPER HUG WITH COMFORT AND HOPE!

This was another card created with the Comfort and Hope stamp set.

A paper hug with Comfort and Hope stamp set

To be honest I wasn’t sure where I was going with this card. Even though it is a simple card it took a long time. The sentiment alone took way longer than it should have!! After several variations I settled for this in the end. Still not sure whether I am loving it, but hey …I thought I would share it with you anyway.

I love the “Paper Hug” saying though.  That was stamped on Petal Pink and diecut with one of the Ornate Frames Dies.

Have you noticed the Comfort and Hope stamp set? It’s a great one for those caring cards.  And great for sending Paper Hugs. 🙂

In Australia? I would love you to order it from me. See it my store now -> HERE.

WEDNESDAY’S WOW! #106 – 6 DIFFERENT LABELS WITH THE LOVELY LABELS PUNCH!

Today for Wednesday’s WOW! #106.  Let’s look at the versatility of the new Lovely Labels Punch.

Did you know that this one punch can create 6 unique labels.  Pretty cool right!

There are 2 different label styles on the punch and each punch can punch 3 size widths in–1″ (2.5 cm), 3/4″ (1.9 cm), and 1/2″ (1.3 cm).   They create a different type of shape when they are punched depending on the size. That’s pretty clever.

To use the punch, cut the card to the width you want the label to be eg. 2.5cm, 1.9cm or 1.3cm.  Slide the card in to the track on the punch being sure to go right to the end of the punch – And then punch away! Easy as. 🙂

Want to see a video of this fun punch?  Check out the Stampin’ Up! one below.

See the pretty tags below.

The Lovely Labels Punch can be ordered on it’s own for $40 AUD. See it -> HERE.

OR as part of the Lovely You Bundle for $73.75 AUD.  See it -> HERE.

Don’t forget it’s Bonus Days.  Grab your $9 voucher to redeem in August for every $90 order you spend in July.  It’s a great way to spread your savings – and save!

If you are in Australia I would love to help you with your order.

You can order online at the links above or you can contact me directly on email jghayward@yahoo.com and I will place the order for you. Every order I send a little Thank You card and something little to say Thanks.  I do appreciate each and every order.

Have a great day,

Jenny

2020 ANNUAL CATALOGUE SWAPS!

Recently I joined a Card Swap with some other Australian Demonstrators using products from the 2020 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue.  Card swaps are great as you get to see projects with other stamps you may not have or using colours or techniques that you don’t normally see.

I joined in 2 rounds in the swaps so I got LOTS of cards.  It meant I created 2 different cards for these but that’s OK. 🙂

I am going to share Round 1 cards today and Round 2 tomorrow.  I have included my card swap but I will share more detail of these in a later post.

I’m not posting individual names on these cards but for those who swapped with me – Thank You.

If you would like more information on any of the cards or would like a close-up photo of any please drop me a comment.

BLOSSOMS IN BLOOM!

A few weeks ago I was playing around with the Blossoms in Bloom bundle.  I have had a lot of fun with it.  I have shared some cards already but thought it was time for some more.

The stamps are great just to simply stamp on your card.

I used Balmy Blue for the flowers.  Then it has the individual leaves stamped in Mossy Meadow, and flower centres stamped in Crushed Curry that you can add to your image.  There are so many different ways of building on your flowers when using this set.

You can give this simple card a little POP though.  For the card below I have diecut the ‘thin’ outline flower die in black card. The black outline highlights the flowers and really lifts it don’t you think??

Stampin' Up! Blossoms in Bloom

TIP: When creating the card using the outline diecut you might like to stamp the flowers first.  Then lay the black diecut outline on to the card and with a pencil lightly outline where the leaves and smaller flowers go.  Then you can remove the diecut and stamp in the leaves and flowers (if you are using them) so they will be in position where they would need to go to line up with the die.  NOTE: I didn’t do that on this card but learnt that’s what should be done when stamping it.  I will share another card later where I did this.

The Blossoms in Bloom Bundle is gorgeous. Do you have it yet? I think it’s a must have with these pretty flowers that you can layer together and there are sentiments for many of your regular occasions.

In Australia? If you would love to order this for your “collection” or any of the other fantastic Stampin’ Up! products I would love to help you out.  You can order online through my store or you can contact me directly on 0439 844574 and I will fix it all up for you with little stress.
